“I ordered my dinner and have never had a problem. The driver called me and was so rude and kept hanging up on me. She said she couldn't find my home and told me to cancel the order! I contacted customer service and they said it would be sent in 30 minutes. I never heard another word and as my blood sugar dropped I looked it up and found out it had been canceled. No one called me or sent a text. I was furious. They gave me a 5$ credit. I had to look up the order after waiting so long. They refunded me but I won't use grubjub again. I ordered from door dash and got my order in 20 minutes and was cheaper to.”

“Review of Grubhub: A Disastrous Experience I had an absolutely terrible experience with Grubhub that jeopardized my job and inconvenienced my client. As part of a professional engagement, I ordered a lunch for a lab consisting of seven different dishes. The driver picked up the order but immediately canceled it, claiming they couldn’t find the location—without even attempting to leave the restaurant. When I contacted Grubhub to report the issue, their response was completely inadequate. They offered a refund in 5 to 7 business days, leaving me to reorder and pay again to ensure my clients were served. There was no attempt to address the driver’s actions or provide any real-time support. Grubhub’s customer service was abysmal. They refused to investigate, call the driver, or escalate the matter meaningfully. Even after requesting to speak to their escalation department, I found their representatives had limited communication skills and were utterly unhelpful. This level of poor service and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially when it impacts professional relationships and commitments. I will never use Grubhub again and strongly advise others to reconsider using this platform for any important orders.”

“GrubHub is the WORST delivery company. Everytime I order for something is always missing. This was my last straw with them. Tonight they only delivered 2 sides and a drink and we were missing my son's kids meal and our food. They REFUSED to reorder and pay out of their own pocket for their mess up. I will be sticking with door dash and Uber eats from now on.”

“Good incorrectly said it was delivered but wasn’t then showed up 30 minutes after marked. Was cold and inedible. Customer service only said they could give $10 credit for future purchase within 30 days. So my reimbursement is just that I get to give them more money? Ridiculous. Never using this garbage app again.”

“Grub hub sucks food is always cold and late. I ordered from restaurant 15 minutes away it takes a hour from time driver left restaurant. It's only 2 dollars more with fees from Uber eats.”

“We ordered food yesterday at 5:40 and about 30 mins later it said the meal was picked up. than it said the driver was in danvers still.. we had to wait about 3.5 hours for the food and we asked for a refund and the guy on the phone said I can give you 7 FIRCKING DOLLAERS! YOU GUYS HAVE MILLIONS OF DOLLAERS!”

“Just sad! They sometimes can be great! Also can be just horrible and is food cold! There is no customer service only offer you five dollar credit even if you spend $100 and the food sucks! The restaurants are not totally at blame but could be better at understanding their service and timing! The service that GrubHub provides is just poor.”

“My order was missing half the food. I called the restaurant and assured me that they did place all food and drink in the bag. They told me that the driver stole the food. The straw was in the bag but no drink. This driver committed a crime. Robbery. They stole what was not theirs. I know that Grubhub does nothing. They give you a credit and continues to allow this person to continue to steal people's food. Yes, they did pay for my food, when when are they going to not allow this to happen to their customers? This has not happen to me twice. This does not include my orders not showing up at all, orders being more than 15 min. late. and delivering my food at a different location.”

“These guys are the worst! I ordered at 5 pm. It’s now after 8! Explicit note to text on arrival & deliver to door with oval window! Tracking showed delivered but nothing on my porch! I’m disabled & it’s pouring! Found order at wrong house! Foods freezing! I’ve called & chatted! Ignored & hung up on over an hour!! Chat doesn’t respond. Just got 9th agent on phone- wouldn’t speak. They just made $22 delivering garbage! Someone shut them down.!”
