I am appalled at how Grubhub handled a recent delivery that caused permanent oil stains from my driveway all the way up to my front porch. On April 16, 2025, their driver left a leaking bag on my property. The oil trail damaged my brick pavers—this is not just a mess, it’s lasting property damage. I submitted photos and video as proof. Grubhub’s response? A boilerplate email saying they’re not responsible and a $5 credit as a consolation. Five dollars. For permanent damage to my home’s exterior. There was no real investigation, no attempt to make things right, just a dismissive form letter and a laughable credit. After years of using Grubhub, this experience has shown they will not stand behind their service when something goes wrong. I’ve filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will be taking this further. Customers beware—if your property is damaged, they won’t help you.

Honestly, GrubHub is a serious rip off. You can order something that’s $20 on GrubHub but you go to the store and it’s only like $13. Not to mention GrubHub charges, extreme charges and fees after already overcharging you for things. If you wanna save your money, do not order from GrubHub or Uber eats. Better off going to the store and get it yourself.

I wish I could give them -1000 stars. Food is always cold, drivers always late. We paid for priority delivery and the driver drove AWAY from our house seemingly delivering other orders after we’d already been waiting an hour… Just don’t order through them ever. If you ask for a refund, they offer you $5.

What the heck is so hard about getting someone their food on time? We paid extra to get our food first and every single time we get delayed delivery, our food is cold and is always missing something we ordered! I just don’t understand the incompetence of this company, it’s ridiculous!

Everything was COLD. pizza very cold. Had to put it in the oven. Fries and chicken tenders cold. Extremely disappointed.

I wish I could give 1/4 star. All I did was download the app for the free trial. The very first order was one item for $35. I got a call 20 minutes after I place the order from someone I couldn't understand who I think said they had trouble getting money out of my account so they refunded me (no matter what language it is that makes no sense) and hung up on me while I was trying to ask a question. Day one of the trial? All they have is a catchy name no service no clue no idea what they're doing with a waste of time that was do not recommend!!!!!!

Got charged for food that didnt come. Was given a credit that wouldnt work on the next order and then had someone that barely spoke english try to tell me how it was my fault.

Grubhub steals your money. They don't deliver your order and then won't give a refund. Customer service reps just keep repeating the same canned answers and don't do anything to even try to resolve the issue.

31/2 hours later no food. Restaurant said the ireder has been sitting on the oven all that time. Who is responsible for food poisoning? The restaurant who releases the food ir grub hub?

Customer service isn't helpful, grubhub shouldn't accept orders if there are no couriers in the area, late with orders or cancels orders because no one shows up to get it. The worst delivery service I have ever used. Never use this company!

Horrible customer service. Placed an order only for no one to pick it up. Received a call from the restaurant letting me know they called grubhub and a driver would be assigned. 1.5 hours later I had to pick up my order which was cold. Grubhub will not refund my full amount. They refunded the drivers tip and delivery fee.

Terrible experience almost 2 hours for delivery called them twice. Was lied to the first time then I called to cancel the order but delivery driver pulled up after customer service couldn’t find my order. Delivery person put food on the ground instead of following delivery instructions. Overcooked and undercooked food

My order came all wrong. Called to rectify and after passing me off a few times I was told someone from support will contact me in 3 to 5 days. We'll we all know what that means.....I am out of my order and order money. Charged m9ney to get a screwed up order. I don't understand why they just can't get me my original order and deliver it. But no they said they will not!!! Horrible customer service. Never again will I order from them and will let everyone I know to also avoid ordering anything from grub hub. Sincerely, very dissatisfied customer.

Grubhub let me place an order through a restaurant that was closed and proceeded to say my food was delivered. Food never arrived, as the store was not open. Lost $54 (food plus driver tip). When I tried contacting Grubhub for a refund, they refused, saying it was 48 hours later. Needless to say I won’t be using them again.

Did not even want to leave 1 star. The driver stood at the door like I needed to come to him. Food arrives ice cold advised on app was to get a full refund however wanted to chat to provide more info about driver and the order being wrong also. Even the supervisor wanted to offer 5.00 and change for this mess. I feel like the driver didn't care grub hub customer service or even the supervisor doesn't care. Very poor customer service. They will take the money but when stuff isn't correct no refund.

Repeat failure to deliver. When contacting customer service if you don't respond with in 0.02 seconds asked are you still with me. Yes, I am still with you until you refund the money. No need to ask.

Ordered a pizza.. text says a ladie will be delivering.. a guy is walking up and down the street When my husband finally went out the guy Kept screaming at him for money in Spanish! He would not give us the pizza. My husband finally grabbed it from him. Contacted fun hub and they were pathetic! Ryan I spoke to via text! He said thanks for the feed back.. the driver Should be reports for aggressive and violent behavior!! I’m thinking of calling the police..
