The driver claimed they delivered my food and did it. Got a credit for my money but was unable to use it on my new order. It applied the credit but when I hit the button to order it said I can’t use both types of payments and I couldn’t figure out how to remove my credit card so it would go through. I am very frustrated and will never use them again!

I have been waiting for 40min getting bounced form 1 chat to another trying to resolve grubhub doubling my order and charging my card without my acknowledgment to just have them simply say okay please wait on the chat for a senior specialist to get no answer for 10 minutes and then restarting the chat with someone else. Getting charged $120 isn't chump change for me and it's very upsetting that nothing can be done. I'm out that money. I will never use this company again.

If I weren’t getting this as part of Amazon Prime, I would never willingly pay for Grubhub. Let me be clear: I have never once—and I truly mean not once—had a Grubhub order arrive when they said it would. Every. Single. Time. I place an order, I get a text or email telling me it’s been delayed—or worse, that it’s not coming at all. I've had more refunds for undelivered food than I’ve had successful deliveries. It’s become a running joke in my household: “Let’s roll the dice with Grubhub and see if dinner arrives—or not.” The only reason I still bother is because it’s cheaper than DoorDash or Uber Eats thanks to the Prime discount. But make no mistake, you're trading cost for complete and utter unreliability. If you want food for lunch, order at breakfast. If you want dinner, better plan around mid-afternoon—because unless you give them at least three hours of lead time, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. Breakfast has a slightly better chance of arriving, likely because most people are grabbing it on the go, but that’s not saying much. The inconsistency is mind-blowing. Bottom line: unless you’re getting this for free, don’t bother. Your time, hunger, and sanity are worth more.

I ordered Popeye's through GrubHub and they delivered the wrong food. I went to chat, called customer service and sent an email. I was given the same "scripted" answer on all three. The wording was identical on all three. They said I would not be able to get a refund as I had requested too many refunds in the past. This was my FIRST TIME ordering through GrubHub. On each interaction I told them this and they simply repeated the "script" to me. GrubHub WILL cheat you when they clearly make a mistake. DO NOT use this service!

Ordered Wendy's at 749pm , 913 haven't received my order. Young man called me and told me to cancel my order. I told him I was on line with customer service. So he politely hung up in my face. Very unprofessional. My last order today from this site.

Been ordering almost daily for about a month. Constant screw ups usually with delivery incompetence. Had to request a refund several times. Shortly after my order yesterday I noticed the delivery address on my app mysteriously changed to the restaurant address. Called the restaurant. Deliver saw the problem and called me. Let it ring twice then hung up. Unable to reach him a few minutes later. Called the restaurant. Called the restaurant and told them to hold my order and I would pick it up. Was told the driver left with my order. Called customer service and they refused to do anything. Hope the driver had a nice dinner on me.

I placed an order last week May 21, 2025 with grubhub and no driver showed for my food delivery. I asked live chat for a refund to my card but instead they gave me a grubhub credit with an EXPIRATION DATE. I told the live chat I DID NOT want a credit and to refund my card. They are saying they can only credit my grubhub account. I will not chance ordering with them again because if a driver doesn't show they will keep your money.

My driver Kylee took the food to an apartment building a half a mile away from my house. When I contacted her she was rude and tried to say it was my fault that I put the wrong address on the app. Which was a total lie, my correct address IS on the app, and when I called grub hub they confirmed my address is correct.

These people don't listen or care. If you pay for priority, you will not get your food, timely manner. The delivery driver picked up my food at five minutes from my house and drove it in the opposite direction 15 minutes out of the way, and this isn't the first time they've done this. And GrubHub is refusing to give a refund even though my food is cold and soggy, and my drinks have melted ice every time.

Two orders in five days delivered to the same wrong address. Same street address, wrong town. First time, got it cancelled and they wouldn’t give me money just a credit. Second time I saw the guy was in the wrong place. Texted him. Talked to customer service twice. Delivered to the wrong place. Customer service then refused to give me any credit because I had too many credits (what?) and says I have to file a refund dispute form which has nothing to do with my issue. I am out $50. Garbage.

Ordered from a hotel at 8pm in Dandridge TN. Delivery time kept getting pushed back until 11 pm when it was canceled. Made another order for an open restaurant. Order kept getting pushed back until canceled at 1:45 am. 6 hours no food and all restaurants closed. They gave me $7 credit. It should have been $14 for 2 canceled orders

Driver stole 1 of 3 sandwiches I ordered from Blimpies in Hauppauge, NY. I felt the bag to see if all 3 sandwiches were there. When I found out 1 was missing I told him to take the food back to Blimpies & that I wasn't accepting it. I called the Blimpies store & Mary said she made 3 sandwiches & gave them to the driver. Also the driver took a picture while I was feeling for the sandwiches (the pkg was still in his hand) & posted the picture as if he gave me the sandwiches. Mary of Blimpies says the driver never returned the 2 sandwiches back to the store. I called Grubhub to complain but they said I will not be credited or refunded the $81.33. I have never had a problem with Grubhub before. I will never use Grubhub again.

Ordered from GrubHub for lunch at work. They changed the address in their system after order was placed and the poor driver couldn’t deliver. I was told food going back to restaurant and to reorder someone will pick it up. Customer service hung up on me; chat is automated and kept repeating themselves and said “let me see what I can do”. Hopefully refund goes through without issue but their customer service is horrible!

I used to order from GrubHub in CA but it's gotten worse over the years. I ordered in Thai food last night for my wife and my wedding anniversary. I timed it so the timing of the food arriving was going to be perfect for the rest of our plans. Everything looked fine, until I saw that the driver was driving around the town where they picked up the food, making other deliveries, and seeing the estimated delivery time being pushed out 20 minutes later, and then again 20 mins later. In the end, our food arrived a hour late! And one of the main Entre items was missing! Above that GrubHub customer service wasn't too helpful. Thankfully, they refunded us for the item that was missing. But they tried to make up for all the lost time and ruined plans by offering a $10 coupon off our next GrubHub order. I told them that after my last THREE bad experiences on GrubHub (same thing happened last anniversary BTW), I won't be using GrubHub anymore, so please just put that $10 on my credit card. They didn't...I just got an email saying I have a $10 GrubHub coupon...and here's the kicker... it expires in ONE MONTH! It's going to take longer than a month to forget about this bad experience and even want to try using GrubHub again, if I ever decide to try them again. They probably would've kept me as a customer if they would have offered a full or partial refund for my order, or even $20 to my credit card for the huge waste of time and ruined plans. But they're customer service sucks.

I used to love this app… but then I ordered tonight and I got scammed. I paid over $50. My food never came. I contacted them and they said there was nothing they could do. Like wow that’s a way to make a loyal plus member leave. Be careful with this app.

I had an order that I ordered from McDonald’s. By the time I got the order it was cold and I was missing an item. They sent it to the wrong address and the driver was sitting outside for 5 minutes and no one attempted to call me. Was told there was not they could do when I chatted with customer service. I am very disappointed.

Ordered $78 chinese food for my family after we all worked very hard in the yard all day! After 45 min wait for food it was delivered to the wrong address! Amazon, UPS, FedEx, Sam’s, Kroger, all find my address no problem! Hope the driver enjoyed my family’s dinner and her $10 tip!
