“I booked online and PAID in advance for two tyres to be fitted at Dunfermline on Saturday 23rd at 9 am. Even after arriving at 8.30 am, and being told only two tyres to do before mine,so won't be long..9.45 am was when my car was moved into bay, after asking was just told 'we are busy' how and why did it change? Maybe him standing for 15 minutes leaning into a car chatting has a bearing on that...so took just 15 minutes to change two front tyres. Slap dash...then my car was driven out, with drivers side window down, why? And door wide open and the car RUNNING, the guy just left it walked into the office and the original child shouted. 'THATS DONE MATE' are you not meant to show the CUSTOMER the work carried out? And im definitely NOT YOUR MATE....horrendous obnoxious arrogant children working there”

Why is that ? What is the rationale behind this very devious, exploitative practise. I ( and my partner ) have made a point of never using you again. We will also try to persuade family and other people on media sites not to use you either.
Charging £ 79.00 for a tyre saying it is the cheapest on offer - but when I checked the website less than an hour later at the same `garage`, there were 5 cheaper tyres… so you use the above as a way to avoid telling passing trade about the cheaper options. Devious, callous practise. I assume it is legal.”

If Google would allow me to give ZERO I would!... Absolutely dreadful service from this place today, I wanted my tyre checking as my garage said that it was running low so I went here unfortunately! There were no cars in the actual garage being worked on and little to no cars on the car park.
I went in to reception only to be greeted by an empty desk, then from out the back came a very miserable member of staff who said they are busy and if I want anything doing it would have to be 3:30pm onwards, I said to the bloke calmly that I don't need to book in just yet as I would like him to simply nip outside and check the tyre with the potential issue to which he replied (huffing and puffing):
“I’m only on my lunch!”
Then he grunted asking in a sharp tone “WHICH TYRE!”
I pointed and he said “WHERE!?!?”
So I replied with “Just forget it” and left
Sadly this is not good service at all, there are far better garages with much better service to offer just DON’T USE THIS ONE as they are on lunch and would rather eat their sandwich than assist a client for 2 minutes

“Order my Bridgestones 4 tyres on the website.got free life time tyres guarantee. Had a nail stuck on the side of rear tyre . Went to the Chester road stretford branch where I orinally fitted the tyres .told the guy on the counter that I have a lifetime tyres guarantee and I produce the receipt which is clearly written on that life time guarantee .guy was so rude . Didn’t accept the receipt. He hadn’t got a clue what’s guarantee means . Range the custome service they said it is guarantee. Really gutted .”
“I paid to have my vehicle tracked 4 x wheel allingment, 1st guy had a go , I drove the vehicle pulling , went back they did it again a different guy,pulling again to the left. I was a bit worried incase it was something serious went to a local garage , he sorted it out tracking was not right.a bit shocked as 2x guys had a go and failed but what I would like to say is the guys were polite and helpful.
I will never get any of my vehicles tracked etc at National.”

“Booked in for a service and mot I made the appointment on 9/11/2021 my booking was for 10/1/2022 when I arrived at the branch the manager didn’t have a clue but then told me the mot technician had resigned before Xmas so they couldn’t do the mot but would do the service , a bit pointless in my view so I declined his offer he couldn’t care less that I had traveled down to his depot and I hadn’t been told my appointment had been cancelled. I was leaving the depot and was calling the taxi company to cancel the pick up I had arranged when the manager started shouting I was blocking access to the garage , this wasn’t the case as I had left plenty of room for access he was just being a bully would I recommend National Tyre Aberdeen not in this life time no apology of any kind the manager just couldn’t care less .”
“Purchased a set of tyres and tracking from tyre shopper with works to be done by National Tyres,Dundee
Car was left with National Tyres at 0840 and left car with them after being informed car would not be ready for pick up until after 1040..
I received a call from them at 1045 asking me who last had my wheels of as the key for locking nuts had been ripped..
It was that same National Tyre shop in Dundee that had my tyres of 28 month prior when I got my previous tyre change done hence it was them that ripped the lock nut key and no 1 else as they suggested..
I let it be known when I went to pick car up that I am convinced he attempted taking lock nut of using the air gun and not the tourque bar to which he obviously denied..
Needless to say I cancelled Tyre Shopper order and went elsewhere for getting job done.. I am not letting so called tyre fitters near my car when they can't even take a wheel of costing me £145 plus inconvenience with damage caused...AVOID”

Filter changed, inspection and additional work replacement front and rear pads, mainly for safety as lasted 2.5 year, so had changed, great job, back again il go 6000 miles or 12 months. 100%”
“Booked tyres through Tyre Shopper and arranged fitting at National Tyres Ashton Under Lyne. Booked for 8:30 Saturday morning and arrived just before. Was the first there and one car on the ramp from Friday. Staff couldn’t tell me when my car would be ready as they were “so busy” and told me it may be a 3 hour wait. Bear in mind, NO OTHER CARS YET ARRIVED. They suggested I rebook for Sunday, as they only had two cars booked in, so I reluctantly agreed. When I arrived on Sunday, they told me it could be a two hour wait. Where else and on what planet does fitting 4 tyres take 2 hours? In the event, it only took them 1 3/4 hours. Result.
They are an absolute joke and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Young lads with no idea about customer service.”

If I could have given less than 1star I would have done - unbelievably bad customer experience - no hint of customer service - Company Customer Charter is a joke!
Took a wheel in for repair advice as it had picked up a screw. Staff member said could not be repaired - he is the expert so ok lets go for a replacement tyre. Tyre required not in stock - he would order it in and it would be there within 48hrs - took all my contact details etc. 48hrs comes and goes no contact so I ring the Branch - delay on receiving the tyre will be there within another 24hrs - 24hrs comes and goes no contact - I spend 3 hrs trying to get through on the phone - phone is never picked up. In the end I take an hour off work to drive over there to see what is happening. No tyre was ever ordered!! No hint of an apology for inconvenience or offer of a remedy - absolutely fuming. Will never use National Tyres again! Staff need retraining or sacking!”

Really slow service if at all. They claim that everything is delayed due to short of staff but still takes orders.
Been told to return at different hours or days, wait for an hour to be attended and sent home without work done.
Stay away from this place as it will consume your time and nothing will be done in time.

“I will not be going back to National tyres
Had full set of tyres fitted lefto drive to Skegness, traffic was heavy so never got up to 50mph for about 40 miles when I did got a bad vibration thought I'm not turning back now, so carried on at under 50mph next day had to blow passenger front tyre up. Luckily e had both cars at the caravan so didn't use mine for the stay phoned National tyres in Rotherham told me to go their branch in Skegness, but thought no I'm taking it back to where the tyres had been fitted. I drove back at the speed I felt comfortable. Took the car back to Rotherham branch told them about the vibration and the tyre going down they rebalanced the front tyre then told the rim wasn't sealing and I had to have my rim repaired. Didn't strip the tyre to see if there was any problem.
I whent away thinking why did he not strip the tyre, so I whent to my local tyre fitter who I would have used but was on holiday at the time. He took the tye off said the rim had not been cleaned. Did the job in 10 mins £10 done no leaks. Thanks National Tyres for abad job done”
