“Customer service is a joke, ordered an item on 1st december and was told payment didnt go through i had to re-order the item and 17days later another arrived at my house. Robert dyas advised i only paid for one even though i had a bank statement proving i paid for two. 56 days later and i still havent been able to organise a return, every week i call and arrange a return and every week they dont turn up. When you call expect to be on homd at least an hr before anyone answers the call absolutely shocking service stat clear”
“Received a message saying my item would be delivered on Tuesday 21st Jan, took a day off work and waited in as delivery was due from 7-7...nothing arrived, figured it may be delayed, phoned up this morning to chase it as I’ve had to take yet another day off work to hear 3 different stories. Eventually found out my item had been lost. Ridiculous company.”

Advised I'd be contacted within 7 days for delivery. Not so. Chased it on 9th. Told it had been delivered. Not so. I have now spent 5 days and 4 phone calls totalling nearly two hours trying to remedy this as this company and it's supply chain partners are utterly utterly useless. If one more woman says she will call me back and doesnt I will scream. I cant even get help cancelling the order! Avoid this company. You can see why these places fold can't you”
“Absolutely not trustworthy. I strongly advice not to buy from them.
Bought a mattress, paid in full. It arrived late , badly packaged, not at all as in photos or per description and on the top it was also a faulty item. Tried to talk with someone about it and it took days and days of useless answers, after long waits. Unhelpful people blaming third parts here and there. Eventually they arranged a day for the collection, no confirmation via email, text or whatever. We wasted a day of work (therefore money) waiting for them to collect the mattress during a very uncomfortable time slot (7am to 7pm) and guess what? No one showed up. Tried to chat or call anyone to give us some updates but the blaming game has start again. So far this looks like a scam. Who knows if they will collect the item and refund our money.”
“I ordered a dinner set at 49.99 Dec 18th 2019. I then wanted to change the dinner set. Called RD and was advised to cancel and reorder new dinner set, which I did, and then nothing for 3 wks. I have made two complaints in writing (email) and one by phone, althought they told me to write (which had been done). I was told my dinner set would be delivered Dec 30th. I heard nothing from RD and tracking it states it is being processed...3wks later! I have asked for my money back that should have been refunded 49.99 for first dinner set. I do not want the reordered one as I want nothing to do with this company. I have heard nothing from 3 complaints. They have had around 90.00 of my money since Dec 18th with no sign of getting it back. Without question the worst online experience ever.”
“First things first, delivery, My shed arrived spot on time,Driver very helpful and polite, When i unpacked my shed i said to myself this is a very well made and very strong shed,I am 75 years old and just me and the instruction book put my 3/2/6ft shed up in 3 hours and thats with a tea break,Thank you Robert Dyas, From a very satisfied and happy customer.”
“Ordered 2 gifts 3 weeks before christmas for in store delivery in 4 days. I contacted them as not collection notice was recieved by email. Finally 4 days before christmas I was asked to come in to collect my purchases (pre-paid). on arrival they did not have the items. They advised me they had not been shipped yet and would unlikely be delivered before christmas. I asked them to confirm is the would be delivered in time or not. They asked me to contact customer services by phone. I refused and told them to contact customer services and get back to me. They called 3 hours later and after the store managers 2 attempts for more then 30 minutes on hold they had not been able to contact someone about my order. I spoke to representative by online chat who processed my cancellation request. With little apology or alternative solution to the issue. I was then left the sunday before christmas - due to work both dats before having to go a find alternative gifts, that cost me additonal money and time. Cant express how frustrated at the lack of communication, care or responsibility taken by the company for the extremely delayed delivery and not even able to contact customer services over the phone. Not reliable!”

“I never thought I would find a company that makes Ryanair look good, but Robert Dyas does that in spades. I bought a microwave & needed to return it. A date for collection was arranged - all well & good so far. No collection happened & since then unbelievable difficulty in contacting. Eventually a reply came through on sms, but 2 weeks later I am still no closer to getting it returned”
“So right about bad Customer Service - Item not delivered within a reasonable time so cancelled the order. However some 3 weeks later Received an email to say it was going to be sent. Tried to get through to Customer Services to say order had been cancelled without success. Refused delivery as no longer required. Am still waiting for a refund from my payment on 1 November! Will never use again.”
“I ordered hob on the 8 th of December which meant to arrive within 5 working days.
Tonight is 26, the hob did not arrived, it is impossible to get in touch with the company via phone , which is very difficult to find any way. No email address to write. After spending lots of time on some phone number with no answer, opted for text message.
They refusing to refund money saying that they did not receive email from the supplier, they do not deserve even zero star rating.

“I recently visited Robert Dyas in Saxon Square, Christchurch, Bournemouth to buy Christmas lights. The member of staff; Ruth, went above and beyond her call of duty to dismantle a display item in order for me to purchase the only one left. I would like to thank her and wish her a lovely Christmas”

“Think long and hard and only if desperate and have the patience of a saint....order from this attrocious company. I tried placing an order online, website down, then rang to order but wouldn't accept click and collect. Eventually on 26/11/2019 ordered instore. 3-5 workings days, no email or call to say it was instore...14 days later I rang custmer services, 50 mins on hold only to be told there was an error so needed to reorder. !8th December still no item arrived, only to be told after 45 min on hold call the tem is now out of stock. I am furious as this was to be a Christmas present. AVOID Robert Dyas as they have NO honour with their custmers orders. Appalling....”
“Same feedback as others DO NOT ORDER WITH ROBERT DYAS ONLINE , we had part of an order delivered but the rest went missing, when we finally got through to customer services they said that the rest of the order was damanged in transit. Not convinced that they would have told us had we not chased. Two weeks on from the missing part of the order being reprocessed we area still waiting. I too have tried to cancel the order via email and am getting no response and have no idea whether these christmas presents will arrive and if I will get charged”
“The worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Do not use Robert Dyas online. I placed an order on 9th December. The confirmation email gave 16th as the latest date it would be delivered. On the 16th it still hadn't been dispatched. I contacted customer services to find out what was going on. No response. The next day I emailed them again asking them to cancel the order, still no response and the order is still showing as being processed on the tracking. I just want a refund, but have no idea whether I'll get one when I can't actually contact anyone about the matter.”
