“This company is appalling. I ordered a toaster. It was immediately evident it was faulty. I tried phoning, their phones are never answered you are simply put on an endless loop. Their chat lines are never responded to. Their emails are mainly just automated responses. I did eventually, after weeks, get a collection date to return goods but they cancelled it. They eventually arranged another date but no one arrived to collect the item. Since then nothing. I wish I'd read the reviews online before purchasing.”
“Unfortunately I was silly enough, to place an with Robert Dyas, the order was promised within 3 to 5 days perhaps they should have said 3 to 5 weeks and in my case as the order had been cancelled INTERNALLY, but know one informed me. I sent them 2 emails and 2 phone calls, but no reply, when finally resolution, after 19 days, when a lovely lady called Stacey sorted out everything, refunds on its way yippee. back to PRIME, that works first time. well done STACY.”
“Placed an order on 2 December & delivery expected on 9 December, no delivery. Chat line advised they hadn't received payment which my bank confirmed had been taken. I then received an order confirmation with a different order number and a delivery date of 16 December. I have been unsuccessful with the online chat this time as no-one will respond. I have emailed customer services & not heard back from them as yet.
I have just managed to speak to Connor on the customer services team who has provided excellent customer service however because of the poor service already received I will NOT be using this company again. Robert Dyas please take note of the feedback from your customers and do something about the poor service you are giving!!!!!!! I have been told my item will now be delivered on the 16th...... we will wait and see.”

They have taken my money told me 3/5 working days for delivery yet 2 weeks later I have no microwave nor a delivery date, you have to wait over 30 minutes to speak to an advisor with an attitude problem and of you live chat they dont even respond

“Finally after several attampts got through to Customer Services today. Was told that as Iron was supplied by an agent and not RD direct. Not informed of this at the time they would have to send a message to the provider of the item, but would call me back in 2 weeks confirming a refund. Nothing heard so I rang 4 days in a row. Left my number for a call back which eventualy came after approx 36 hours, but of course by then I was out. On my call today I was put through to Customer Service support who could do nothing but take orders, Spoke to a manager-c winson who was useless and said he could only take a message and pass on. Nightmare Do Not Use”
“Absolute worst customer service avoid buying any appliances from this company I feel sorry for the advisors that have to take the phone calls from angry customers Had to have an engineer out to fix a tumble dryer that was 3 weeks old ?? Engineer said you need a new one now not in stock for 4 weeks even though it’s still saying in stock on the website”
“We ordered boxes for a house move next week. Paid for next day delivery, aand then got an email the next day to say it would be a day late.
Three days later no delivery at all customer service hard to contact and they dont know where the oreder is.
We have now taken three extra days off work as they keep saying next day for delivery.

“I ordered a brabantia bin to be delivered to my daughters I bought and paid for it and I entered my address as the billing address. I paid for names day delivery the bin turned up 3 days early luckily she was home. When the bin arrived it had a dent in it. I contacted customer services but they advised that my daughters address was down as the billing address despite me entering my own and despite me paying for it and said they could not speak to me. My daughter contacted them and they arranged to collect the bin but would t deliver another until collected. The new bin arrived today and guess what another sent in it. We contacted them again to ask for a refund but they won’t do this until the bin is collected my daughter works in the city and can’t be home at their whim because they can’t get it right. Appalling service would never buy from them again no matter what discount or offers are available would definitely recommend staying clear there are other retailers far more helpful and actually get it right”
“Ordered a present for a relative as a surprise. Because I put their address for delivery, they became the booking holder. Phoned customer services after 2 weeks of not hearing anything and delivery date passing, was told they couldn’t speak to me as I wasn’t the name on the account even though I placed and payed for it. Had to tell the relative about her present therefore NO surprise, they then had to constantly phone to find out where order was, finally after 4 weeks and 10+ phone conversations I got a refund. Robert Dyas your customer service is...,,,,”
“Really bad been waiting two weeks for a refund for an item that is out of stock. The order itself was placed over 3 weeks ago. So for 3 weeks they have had my money and i have no product. Absolute joke. They are now ognoring me when i as where my money is.”
“Visited Eastleigh Branch and waited a considerable time to be noticed by female members of staff who would rather chat than work. I have worked, been an owner and have been connected to retail for most of my working life and this is not the way to run a business. When service is so non existent ,one can see why online shopping is putting the store out of business. Walked out and purchased online, and not with Robert Dyas.”
“Absolutely appalling service from start to finish.
I ordered a fridge, which arrived badly damaged. I informed Robert Dyas straight away and yet they disputed it for 3 weeks. They finally arranged collection and then had the audacity to send the same damaged fridge back to me.
Customer service has been awful throughout, the phone lines are permanently busy so is the live chat, I sent 4 emails before getting a response. When I eventually spoke to someone they promised I’d get a call back from a manager by the end of the working day and as expected they didn’t call.
I will never use Robert Dyas again they’ve caused so much stress and frustration. I highly recommend others to purchase from elsewhere.”

If you can ring six times at different times of day and not get an answer for over twenty minutes then that isn't an unusual volume of calls. That's a standard volume of calls for a bad retailer.”
