“This company is a nightmare .Please keeps documents and take pictures of returns they will question you about your returns and hold your money for several weeks .Had to get my bank involved be careful”
“I never thought I would find a company that makes Ryanair look good, but Robert Dyas does that in spades. I bought a microwave & needed to return it. A date for collection was arranged - all well & good so far. No collection happened & since then unbelievable difficulty in contacting. Eventually a reply came through on sms, but 2 weeks later I am still no closer to getting it returned”
“So right about bad Customer Service - Item not delivered within a reasonable time so cancelled the order. However some 3 weeks later Received an email to say it was going to be sent. Tried to get through to Customer Services to say order had been cancelled without success. Refused delivery as no longer required. Am still waiting for a refund from my payment on 1 November! Will never use again.”
“I ordered hob on the 8 th of December which meant to arrive within 5 working days.
Tonight is 26, the hob did not arrived, it is impossible to get in touch with the company via phone , which is very difficult to find any way. No email address to write. After spending lots of time on some phone number with no answer, opted for text message.
They refusing to refund money saying that they did not receive email from the supplier, they do not deserve even zero star rating.

“I recently visited Robert Dyas in Saxon Square, Christchurch, Bournemouth to buy Christmas lights. The member of staff; Ruth, went above and beyond her call of duty to dismantle a display item in order for me to purchase the only one left. I would like to thank her and wish her a lovely Christmas”

“Think long and hard and only if desperate and have the patience of a saint....order from this attrocious company. I tried placing an order online, website down, then rang to order but wouldn't accept click and collect. Eventually on 26/11/2019 ordered instore. 3-5 workings days, no email or call to say it was instore...14 days later I rang custmer services, 50 mins on hold only to be told there was an error so needed to reorder. !8th December still no item arrived, only to be told after 45 min on hold call the tem is now out of stock. I am furious as this was to be a Christmas present. AVOID Robert Dyas as they have NO honour with their custmers orders. Appalling....”
“Same feedback as others DO NOT ORDER WITH ROBERT DYAS ONLINE , we had part of an order delivered but the rest went missing, when we finally got through to customer services they said that the rest of the order was damanged in transit. Not convinced that they would have told us had we not chased. Two weeks on from the missing part of the order being reprocessed we area still waiting. I too have tried to cancel the order via email and am getting no response and have no idea whether these christmas presents will arrive and if I will get charged”
“The worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Do not use Robert Dyas online. I placed an order on 9th December. The confirmation email gave 16th as the latest date it would be delivered. On the 16th it still hadn't been dispatched. I contacted customer services to find out what was going on. No response. The next day I emailed them again asking them to cancel the order, still no response and the order is still showing as being processed on the tracking. I just want a refund, but have no idea whether I'll get one when I can't actually contact anyone about the matter.”
“All the bad reviews for this company are correct. Their customer service is THE WORSE I’ve ever experienced. They don’t email you back or call you. You leave messages that are never returned and you have to threaten them to get our money back. They blame Black Friday or Christmas as if these things are a surprise to them. Just appalling and I for one will NEVER use them again and can only recommend that other people think twice before trusting them with your order!!”

Despite on line contact, e-mails, texts etc I have yet to receive a response. I placed an order, no e-mail was sent to say it was ready to pick up in store. When I looked it said collected! “This company is appalling. I ordered a toaster. It was immediately evident it was faulty. I tried phoning, their phones are never answered you are simply put on an endless loop. Their chat lines are never responded to. Their emails are mainly just automated responses. I did eventually, after weeks, get a collection date to return goods but they cancelled it. They eventually arranged another date but no one arrived to collect the item. Since then nothing. I wish I'd read the reviews online before purchasing.”
“Unfortunately I was silly enough, to place an with Robert Dyas, the order was promised within 3 to 5 days perhaps they should have said 3 to 5 weeks and in my case as the order had been cancelled INTERNALLY, but know one informed me. I sent them 2 emails and 2 phone calls, but no reply, when finally resolution, after 19 days, when a lovely lady called Stacey sorted out everything, refunds on its way yippee. back to PRIME, that works first time. well done STACY.”
“Placed an order on 2 December & delivery expected on 9 December, no delivery. Chat line advised they hadn't received payment which my bank confirmed had been taken. I then received an order confirmation with a different order number and a delivery date of 16 December. I have been unsuccessful with the online chat this time as no-one will respond. I have emailed customer services & not heard back from them as yet.
I have just managed to speak to Connor on the customer services team who has provided excellent customer service however because of the poor service already received I will NOT be using this company again. Robert Dyas please take note of the feedback from your customers and do something about the poor service you are giving!!!!!!! I have been told my item will now be delivered on the 16th...... we will wait and see.”
