“Item left without signature by delivery company, not there when I got home, live on a main road so ????,and conflicting advice from Robert Dyas. So now no item and £150 out of pocket, told over a week ago a refund was coming and would be received in 3 days, guess what no refund still...........,,”
“One of the worst suppliers I've ever ever used. Wish i had read the reviews before hand they are true. Had to wait ages for gazebo to turn up and one part missing, no phone number to call them on only email and as of yet still waiting for a reply.
I would say go straight to the people who are supplying Robert Dyas and order it direct which i did with the missing part which i received in a couple of days.

“Such a shame as I chose to use Robert Dyas because I always thought of them as a reputable company.
Broken ironing board was delivered. I informed the company immediately that this was the case and over a week later they agreed to collect and refund. After many many emails with various members of the customer service team I got confirmation that the courier had been booked, I was sent collection details and a date. The day came and went with no sign of a courier.
Eventually after failing to get a response from Robert Dyas I decided to call the courier directly, who were very helpful and confirmed that they had never been booked for collection!
The courier arranged my collection from me and my item has now been back with Robert Dyas almost twice weeks. I have tried to contact RD a few times since and they are still to date unable to even acknowledge if they have received my returned item.
All together absolutely terrible experience all-round. Avoid using this company.”
“Having waited in all day for a £560 shed to be delivered by Shire Garden Buildings, bought through Robert Dyas with a regular delivery slot of 8am to 8pm, promised between 2pm to 6pm and ordered weeks ago, it’s now 9pm and not a single call, update or apology all day. The Customer Service is appalling with little or no interest in the people they sell to. I won’t be using them again, you have been warned! Oh and don’t waste your time trying to contact them, no ones there!”

“I purchased a solar water feature, i was quite impressed with how quick it was going to be delivered but i shouldnt have been as we waited in all day , tracked it said before 6pm but when it hadnt turned up by then i tracked it again and it had gone back to depot presumably had had enough and took it back to depot. Then it said it would deliver the next day before 6pm. like we have no lives and can just stay in all day instead of working etc. Anyway it eventually turned up and looked ok. but then i realised that the grooves for water to cascade down to next level , didnt even reach the grooves (this was south facing garden in 26 degrees of solid sunshine) i made every attempt to find someone to talk to, went round in circles with online chat which is rubbish. eventually emailed someone and got the usual we will get back to you . eventually i said i wanted to return the item and they told us they would collect on 8th june , then they changed it to the 9th june and we are still sitting here waiting for the collection. obviously we cant be sure they wont change it again. there is no one to call, no one to speak to that is real, all you get is a non committal email and even that they have 72 hours to answer. would never buy from them again ever. just dont bother”
“I have not had my delivery due last month. I cannot contact customer services as there is not a real person there just boxes that leave you knowing nothing. When I track my order it says despatched. Their is no information on who despatched it!!! my order number is 103541639. Is Robert Dyas going bust. I am going to contact Barclays fraud department. The people who apparently despatched it Maize rattan furniture have told me that I must speak to you”

I purchased a lawnmower from this company as they were confirming delivery for a certain weekend ( prepared to pay £ 20 extra on the product) when the weather was nice. After chasing so many times and no real response or "we will get back to you" the mower arrived 5 weeks later that date shown on the website. Even when you tried to track the shipment no real information. I had some performance issues with my product so within the 30 day period I requested collection and refund. They confirm someone will call for the collection which was 3 weeks ago, in fact, I managed to get the manufacturer to collect it instead. I am still waiting for them to confirm when I will get my refund and its been more than a 2 months saga. Really these guys should be shut down!!!!!
Save yourself the pain and go to a reputable company that knows how to treat customers!!!!”

“Ordered a wooden garden arch over 3 weeks ago it should have been delivered this week but we haven’t received it so we contacted the supplier as we had their number it’s out of stock from them the lady was very good and said she would check when it would be back in stock .She emailed us and said not before 15th June but it may be discontinued.
Can’t get hold of Robert Dyas to get a refund Avoid this company they sell items that are out of stock and then you can’t get a refund.”
