Do NOT buy off this website! Doesn't matter how cheap it is its not worth it. I ordered a camera that cost over 500 pounds and the item never got delivered. The delivery report says it was left on my back door step. My property does not have a back door. Even after showing evidence of this to SLRhut and paypal I am not entitled to my money back as it was delivered! They have not helped me at all and just keep copy and pasting the same "not are problem" email to me everytime I ask for advice. Heart broken as I've no Camera and now no refund.

This company is a scam!!!! their customer service is the rudest i have ever come across, 2, canon comes with a one year warranty, and my camera broke after 8 months and they told me it only had a 90DAY warranty, DO NOT USE THEM!!!! read thier policy, you will know from there, they hung up on me when I told them canon gives a one year warranty, USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!

AVOID!!! I read the reviews on this company and thought ‘hey why not’ give them a go, I ordered an SLR bundle for my daughters birthday that I was assured I would receive in time... Did I?? No!! I called up to be told the item was delivered that week which it hasn’t, when I challenged this I was told to speak to the delivery company but was not given any info or reference numbers just a LOT of poor customer service. I then got another email to say the item had been delivered so called again to be told that they had sone their job, the delivery company had done their job apparently leaving £280 of goods on my door step??? So it’s now my problem DISGUSTING ATTITUDE!!! So SLR hut have a policy that if your item is less than 500 dollars they don’t care if you receive it as not guaranteed delivery (sounds like a scam) In essence if are spending over 500 Dollars carry on and order from these absolute thrives other than that don’t do it as they won’t refund or help you even if paid through PayPal. Better to pay more and use a trusted professional company!!!

I purchased a go pro 7 camera bundle. I was phoned from new york asking if i wanted to purchase a 4 hour battery as the original is only an hour, i asked SLR if it was a genuine go pro batery and they said " absolutely" when i recieved the battery it was a cheap generic go pro 5 batery that only give me 45 minutes and as of yet they are fobbing me off ,so i plan to keep these review sites fully updated on the progress of trading standards. Its ashame really as i own my own business and wouldnt treat any one of my customers like this . They are refusing to ring me and keep telling me to ring there premium number

Awaiting the response to a complaint about variation in the pricing and a total farce trying to arrange delivery. Goods eventually arrived in good order, but interested to see how SLR Hut deal with my complaint, and happy to review my assessment dependent on their response.

Diabolical. This is NOT a UK company even with the co.uk website and the 0208 phone number. Ordered a 370 quid camera on 5th April. Took the money at the time. 3 to 5 days delivery quoted even though I had to call to process the "online" order. Waited 5 days. No dispatch email. I have called them at least 10 times over the last week and cannot get thorough. Eventually I get through "it's on the way" then 6 days later a email saying it's out of stock?? Joke. I called them and said I want a full refund. 24 to 48 hours. Payment disputed with my credit card company. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. its practically fraud. With 0 customer service

my credit card was hit after using SLR Hut trhis is the only place I have shopped with and a month later my credit card details were used and I get messaged by my card provider. Either SLR Huts website is not secure or it has been hacked or their is someone crooked working for the company. I do not appreciate my card being used on gambling websites nor do I appreciate finding out that SLR Hut have no real presence in the UK but do have a maildrop, accommodation address, mailbox call it whatever you may like but they are misrepresenting themselves. This is an US compnay and there are reports of others having their credit card being used illegally by someone after a pyrchase from SLR Hut

If I could give no stars I would. We are still awaiting a refund on a camera which SLR Hut have confirmed they have received back. This item was returned in November 2018! The refund was agreed over the phone and we were given strict instructions to only return the camera and not the whole bundle of goods as we were replacing the camera with another from the same company (which we paid for as they wouldn't send a replacement without payment - so to be clear we have bought three camera but only have two!). They are now ignoring all forms of communication from us. I would NEVER recommend purchasing from this company.

Customer service not very 'personal', somewhat abrupt. They advertised a promotion '...confirm your order (by phone) & get a 32GB as card...' it did not arrive with my goods! When I queried this the stated the didn't have stock; no additional information. I asked when do you expect to send the card to me: their response 'we'll be running another promotion shortly'; again no additional information (e.g. in the next week/in the next month)! This wouldn't be allowed in the UK. If the advertise that they provide something, they should comply with their ad. Mit impressed at all.

I ordered a camera on the 29th of October 2018, and was informed that the camera will arrive within 7 days. Using the tracking number from SLRHut, I saw the camera had arrived in the Fedex warehouse, in the UK on the 31st of Oct 2018. I waited for the parcel till Friday and when it failed to arrive at my address, I called SLRHut. They said they will speak to Fedex, then they said Fedex will get back to me. I Waited all day Friday, no one called back. On Saturday the 3rd of November, I went to the Fedex Warehouse in Dartford. After a few checks, staff at the warehouse informed me that my parcel did arrive at their warehouse but they could not trace it. It was lost\missing, in the warehouse. They gave me the international number for Fedex, and asked me to call. I decided that since I bought the item from SLRhut, it was better I called SLRhut to sort this out. On Monday the 5th of November, I tried to get in touch with SLRhut. It was the most frustrating exercise I have ever been involved in. To start with, when I called the SLRHut number (0203 8686 114) from 10 am, as stated on their website, I got the message, "you are the first in line and your call will be answered soon". I hang up after an hour, and tried again. did this a few times, then gave up. After work I tried again, and after about 40 minutes, the call was answered. Long and short, the man said there was nothing he could do because the parcel has not been delivered, and is in transit. I explained that I have not received the parcel. I asked if they can send me another camera, and sort out the 'missing' one with Fedex? The answer was a flat NO. I explained to them that as a seller, they are supposed to ensure I receive the goods. It's not my job to be tracking parcels lost by Fedex. I asked "When will this be sorted out? 1 day, 1 week, 1 month". "I don't know", was the answer. As it stands now, I have bought a £775 camera and the seller is telling me that even though they know it's not been delivered to me, and it is with the courier, I need to wait 'forever' for FEDEX to 'find' my camera, before they move a finger. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I EVER EXPERIENCED My misery continues as I write. I am yet to receive the camera, or my money back.

Absolutely appalling company to deal with. Received at least 15 emails in five days, none of which gave me any information other than to say they attempted to call me (which they hadn't despite me confirming my number in response) and asking me to call them, which I attempted to do numerous times but couldn't get through on all but the last call when someone just put me on hold without even speaking. Bearing in mind my £400 purchase still hadn't been shipped, no one had called me and I was unable to speak to them, I requested in writing 3 times that the order be cancelled. All communication from me has been ignored, and the item has apparently now been shipped - well it's too late. Do not use this company - totally shambolic.

I requested, in writing, cancellation of an order, within minutes of placing it, as I understand I am legally entitled to do. They ignored my cancellation request and instead emailed me, stating they couldn't process my order unless I phoned them. I sent them another email, with a copy of the cancellation request. They then sent me a nonsensical reply, stating that the order would take 48 hours to process. Less than 5 hours later, they've emailed to say my order has shipped. And they've charged my credit card too. I'm now going to need to wait for the item to be delivered, return it and raise a dispute with my credit card company, all because of their childish refusal to acknowledge a simple cancellation request. What a complete waste of everyone's time!

Placed an order in plenty of time with express delivery for my daughters Birthday. Camera did not arrived in the 2 or 3 days. Called them, only to be told they did not have it in stock. They did not bother to tell me this when ordering. Offered an upgrade at a discounted price which I accepted. Later I checked the model they offered and it was cheaper on the website than my actual order, so not an upgrade at the discounted price told. Still waiting for the camera so no present for my daughter on her Birthday.I emailed them to confirm the discounted offer but I am being ignored. I will never use this company again, the savings are not worth the crappy service and being ignored. I will be contacting my credit card company in the morning.

They pre-take payment (stops you cancelling the order to buy elsewhere) then ring you constantly even if your abroad to try to tell you more stuff, you tell them to just send the item and they refuse and just keep ringing Then when you've had enough and send them an email to cancel the order they take the payment.. SCAMMERS IN ACTION ....AVOID

I placed my order on the 18th June 2018 for a Canon lens which was around £20 cheaper than other websites. As there website says “there cover all import charges/taxes, it was worth waiting 6-10 days for delivery. On the 19th June I received an e-mail saying “ We tried calling you on the phone number you provided but were unable to reach you. To ensure your order ships in a timely manner please contact us”. After a few mins I eventually got transferred to a different dept and they checked my delivery address before trying to sell me filters for the lens I purchased. On the 28th June I e-mailed SLRHut as the tracking ref they give me still stated that my order was in the US. They replied the same day giving me a new tracking ref, and when I tried to locate my order it said it was at my local delivery depot, and is waiting on export/customs charges to be paid. At that time it didn’t say how much was to be paid so I e-mailed SLRHut back on the 29th June and they replied saying “I'm not sure why they are asking for taxes , must be a clerical error from my warehouse, we will investigate the issue to ensure that it doesn't happen again. In the meantime please pay whatever duties they ask for in order to receive your order. Please email us the receipt and we will refund you accordingly, as it is our policy to cover all customs and duties.” On the same day (29th) I received an invoice from Parcelforce for £22.20 for import/tax charges, and paid it straight away before e-mailing the invoice & proof of payment. SLRHut replied saying “Please allow 5-8 working days for the refund to process in the system”. I have sent several e-mails to SLRHut after the 5-8 working days, and to date (18th July 18) I’m still waiting for the refund of £22.20 to cover the import/tax charges which is the reason why I WOULD’NT recommend using this company ever again. I have since raised a dispute via Paypal who are investigating, as I have all the e-mails from SLRHut confirming that they will be refunding these charges.

Having to call to confirm an online order just defeats the object of online shopping especially when it takes 3 days to get through and numerous e mails saying they have tried calling but haven’t had any missed calls from them. I confirmed my order when I logged in and again when I logged in to PayPal. I paid for special delivery so I got the order within a week but about 4 days in when I was getting worried my order wouldn’t arrive on time I contacted the shocking support team who said once they eventually get the stock in they will ship it out. I then replied to say I’ll get it elsewhere as it wouldn’t arrive on time and they said they can’t cancel my order without me calling them but what was the point when they don’t pick up so I cancelled it with PayPal and got my money back straight away. Thankfully I used PayPal as I’ve read some horror stories about refunds and returns with SLR Hut. They’ve not only lost that sale but also a customer. Not worth it and will pay the little extra to get locally for peace of mind and also to keep the warranty as imports lose the warranty instantly.

I ordered a phantom 4 pro bundle, everything arrived however i received a phantom 4 not a phantom 4 pro. After several attempts at getting through and many many emails Maddie, very kindly assured me that she would help and arranged a returns note for me, she then asked if i wanted a refund or my original order, once they had received my return. Knowing that mistakes happen i decided to go with having the drone that i originally ordered. I sent back what i received, i knew when they received my return as it was tracked. Days went by with no communication, i sent many emails with no reply. Eventually i received an email from Maddie asking for me to call in regards to my drone. After 33 calls i finally managed to get through to Maddie and was told that i would not receive any refund and that she will not be sending me any drones!! Apparently the drone that they send was the correct drone and the one that i had sent back was not! really! well thats exactly the problem, i have paid for a drone that i did not receive, Maddie called me a lier and i con artist and then hung up. I called again and once again Maddie told me that she didn't know where i got the drone i returned but it was not what she sent. Basically i am now over £1000 down with nothing to show for it. I feel like i have been scammed and basically robbed. I am so angry and frustrated at the lack of customer service and have never experienced anything like this before!!! I phoned one more time and was advised to send in an email and request a call back from a manager. i have done this but to be honest, i don't expect i will get one. If by some miracle someone does call me and resolve this and i will update this.

2nd time I've tried to order from SLRhut, and this time it's even worse. I've ordered a memory card 2 weeks ago and still I'm awaiting for it to ship. I've received an email telling me to call a number but the number is never answered.

Got charged import duty to the UK despite their claim that it is shipping paid. It is impossible to get through to anyone unless you stay on hold for hours and then nobody will deal with it and take any responsibility. I have mailed requesting a call-back, sent all the information and called multiple times. This is one rubbish company who do not understand the concept of customer support and are advertising prices which are not real. The headline price may be attractive but buyer beware.

Ordered from their site not realising they were not a UK company. Given the wrong tracking number with a 5-8 day delivery time. Received a call from New York the next day to sell me more items. Two weeks later still no package. UK number constantly engaged. Made 9 phone calls to the US at a total cost of £18. Discovered the item had been stopped at customs and charges raised. Agreed to pay the customs charges on the assurance the money would be returned to me. All emails with customs invoice ignored. Absolutely horrendous experience. Please do not buy from this company.
