“2nd time I've tried to order from SLRhut, and this time it's even worse. I've ordered a memory card 2 weeks ago and still I'm awaiting for it to ship. I've received an email telling me to call a number but the number is never answered.”

“The delivery was very fast and product matched the description. The only thing that I had problems with was contact with the company. Telephone was busy all the time and mail communication is very very very slow.”

“Got charged import duty to the UK despite their claim that it is shipping paid. It is impossible to get through to anyone unless you stay on hold for hours and then nobody will deal with it and take any responsibility. I have mailed requesting a call-back, sent all the information and called multiple times. This is one rubbish company who do not understand the concept of customer support and are advertising prices which are not real. The headline price may be attractive but buyer beware.”

“Got charged import duty on a lens purchase despite being told it was duty and delivery paid (it clearly is not). Was told I would get a refund and mailed the information as requested. After 3 weeks, an hour on hold on the phone with no answer, and several emails, all ignored. Nothing. I am disappointed and let down. Would have been better to buy locally for sure as the saving in the end was not significant and there is clearly no support from this company.”

“I purchased a DJI inspire 1 from SLR hut. It arrived a week before the advised delivery date. Initially, I had a problem with linking the Drone to the controller but a call to SLR hut had it working fine. The manual supplied with the Inspire missed a stage in the set up, which was causing the problem. The Drone has worked faultlessly since. I have read that SLR Hut after sales is not the best but can honestly say they were very helpful.”

“Ordered from their site not realising they were not a UK company. Given the wrong tracking number with a 5-8 day delivery time. Received a call from New York the next day to sell me more items. Two weeks later still no package. UK number constantly engaged. Made 9 phone calls to the US at a total cost of £18. Discovered the item had been stopped at customs and charges raised. Agreed to pay the customs charges on the assurance the money would be returned to me. All emails with customs invoice ignored. Absolutely horrendous experience. Please do not buy from this company.”

“Firstly I was assured that the camera had a uk warranty. This was simply a lie... its an import ! To add insult to injury... the camera has a defective on off switch ! When I phoned slrhut.co.uk I asked again... Does the camera have a full UK warranty... again, yes it does. I reply, this is why I bought it, and it is a lie. the box was not sealed, the manual and warranty card removed to hide its origins. To which they replied, just because we are not official Nikon importers, we provide our own warranty... what is the difference ! errrrrr speechless It does not end there either... when I informed him of the faulty on off switch.... errrrr wow ! If you have taken a pic, then the camera is second hand. We do not deal or sell second hand cameras, so you need to send it to our repair centre. Dumbfounded ! How are these people allowed to trade ? I have left it in the hands of paypal for a full refund !”

“wonderful company, i ordered a Canon 70D kit, besides for a great camera in brand NEW condition they gave me Free expedited shipping when i purchased additional accessories. This kit is all in all wonderful, got it for my husband, and he is just as happy as i am with the service and quality of the product at SLRHUT.... THANX”
