Ordered in July shop assistant laughed when l said would l get it for Xmas and said you would get it in October 3 messages off sofaology saying order delayed now l am told l will not get it for Xmas Annoyed

Ordered a carpet from Milton Keynes branch promised delivery did not happen. Unable to waste hours on phone. Company is a joke. Suggest that whenever you have time to spare and are close to a Sofology shop you go in and waste the sales peoples time for as long as possible letting them think you are ordering, then tell them why you wont be ordering. Whilst you do this you are saving other people from this company.

Ordered sofa 6 months ago. It was meant to arrive by 1st October but has not been delivered and we have had no updates. Tried filling in contact forms, emailing, calling but no answer. They hung up once we got through to someone after waiting 2 hours on the line. We've paid £1750 for this and at this stage, don't know if we are going to get anything for our money.

Very poor after care service! Please avoid this terrible company! I have a leather recliner sofa from sofology, it started peeling after 1 year of ownership, which clearly means this cant be genuine leather. The extended warranty did not cover this, although, we were never even given any T&Cs in the first place, so I'm pretty sure there's legal issues there. Our pet has also scratched the leather and guess what, that's not covered either. So it would seem their warranty is totally worthless. I have contacted Sofology for comment, but I have been completely ignored. So I feel compelled to pass on my extremely negative view of this company to as many people as possible.

**WARNING - DO NOT BUY ANY FURNITURE FROM SOFOLOGY** We bought our sofa's mid July with expected delivery date being end of October. This date kept getting pushed back and eventually booked in delivery for 19th November. Both myself and my Wife took the day off work and no delivery arrived. I waited on the Customer service phone line for 2 hours, only to be cut off when I was at number 1 in the queue. I phoned the Reading Store where I purchased the Sofa's to be told that it was not even in the warehouse for delivery. We then booked in for yesterday (28th November) for delivery between 11am and 3pm. At 4.30pm called Customer service to be told I could not have a refund as the delivery may still turn up (which of course it never did!). I now cannot get through to anybody at Customer Service but will be securing a refund asap. Please be aware that if Sofology miss a delivery slot that they have confirmed, you are entitled to a full refund and judging by the comments all these reviews I am thankful that we have come to this decision and will source sofa's elsewhere. If everyone in the same position as ours secured a refund, it is the only way this company will sort themselves out as they are emotionally blackmailing Customers with the threat of no Sofa's at all. PLEASE DO NOT USE SOFOLOGY.

We chose, ordered and paid in full for 2 sofas and were delighted when we received a call on our way home to book a delivery date. Less than 2 days before delivery we got a call to say they wouldn't be coming on the arranged date. Both me and the person taking our old sofas had arranged time off. Sofology could not give us another date until our original date had passed because that's the way their system works! According to the person we spoke to there was no one in whole of sofology who has the authority to override their 'system'. However, the next day we got a text to say they would arrive as originally arranged. We called to check and were no 65 in the phone queue! When we eventually got through it was confirmed our sofas would NOT be coming right enough. The day after that [the day originally arranged for delivery] a driver called us to say we were next on his list for delivery. We told him the story so far, so he checked his truck and right enough our sofas weren't there. We were still on his delivery list though. A second date was organised and we made arrangements again along with the person taking our old sofas. On the day of delivery we realised we hadn't received a text the day before so we called and our delivery had not been booked at all on their system for that day. It was finally delivered on the 3rd arranged date but one of the sofas has a hole in it and will have to go back. Talk about incompetent, disorganised and incredibly inconsiderate. Certainly won't be buying from them again.

Still waiting for my sofa, been given 4 dates for delivery now, the last 3 has been a no show absolutely shocking!! It took me 3 hours to get through to customer service, I was promised it would be delivered yesterday but yet again a no show. If I had looked at the reviews I would never had ordered from this company.

We purchased a Clarence corner sofa which cost almost £2000. It looked lovely when we finally got the delivery. We were a bit alarmed when we were told that creases could appear in the fabric and that they would be cured by patting them out. Yes the creases did appear and some disappeared but quite a few remained in the cushions, about 10mm deep, and are still there. We have only had the sofa about 8 months and if they offer us a repair to the sofa it is not going to stay crease free and after a lot of years will get a lot worse. We are truly not happy with the sofa and do not want a repaired sofa.

The sofa seams good but its early days. The problem was the delivery guys who work for them direct as they were moaning about working for DFS now decided to just push the sofa over laminate flooring and it's wrecked. Its not scratched they have carved through it like an axe.

We purchased a settee from the Nottingham store I was guaranteed that my sofa would be delivered within 3 weeks as it was warehouse stock .we received a email and text for the settee to be delivered. The settee never arrived .spoke to customer service after been in a queue for 3 hours it's ridiculous. Our sofa is also in the wrong warehouse. After reading reviews I am worried as we also havnt got a settee .I just hope we have the right settee delivered for xmas

It has to be said this is one of the worst experiences I've had when purchasing anything. 16 weeks after ordering we established they had lost our order. We spent two weeks trying to speak to anyone at sofology to rectify and eventually had to go through to the store to get any kind of response Eventually they reordered the sofa (another 13 weeks to wait) and they arranged us a loaner sofa which didn't arrive. They wont even answer the phone at the store now which means going back there to sort this out. I would suggest even if you like their sofas find an alternative. This company is an absolute shambles and without exaggeration a nightmare to deal with. DO NOT BUY A SOFA FROM THIS COMPANY!

Bought the sofas months ago. We were contacted by sofology on 12 November to say our sofas had arrived and to book for the removal service to make room for our new purchase. (We paid for the removal service organised by Sofology -Clearbee). We were also asked to arrange for a delivery date. We organised 26 November for the clearance and 27th November for delivery. We are an elderly couple and I am disabled. So the sofas were cleared yesterday. I tried calling Sofology but kept getting the engaged signal or was cut off once I got through. Very concerned we had not had a delivery time I started ringing at 8.am today. I eventually got through at 10.12 am to be told that our sofas hadn't even reached the dispatch centre yet and there was even a suggestion we would have nothing until after Christmas. When I asked what they could do "Jenny" said she couldn't do anything - whats the point of the poor girl's job - she must hate it This is disgusting. We are sat on a floor with no alternative because they didn't tell us of the delay and let us arrange perfectly good sofas to be taken away knowing that ours were actually probably not even in the country. When you pay £4k for sofas you do not expect to be sitting on a floor - I feel we have paid to be robbed. Tweeted and put on fcbk and emailed MD - of course no response. Now reading other reviews very worried that when they do arrive they won't be right. Don't use this company.

Terrible company. Do not buy from here. Waited over 7 months for a sofa and chair. Had the delivery date changed multiple times. Eventually brought the sofa but said they had ‘lost’ the chair. No contact from them on the missing item, I had to chase a number of times. Was sent another delivery date. On the day I called to check when they would arrive and was told I was first on their list of delivery. No show. I had to chase and was told it was my fault for not being in (when we were and have video evidence of no delivery). After waiting another 3 days for answers am finally told it was ‘lost’! Utterly ridiculous - either the chair arrived from supplier or it didn’t. No explanation and only empty apologies. Incredibly fed up and given other reviews feel thankful that at least I got the sofa. Never want to deal with this company again and will recommend the same to all friends and family. These are expensive items and the least we should expect is honesty.

Waiting for a chair they said was British made since July which they now say has not arrived in the country yet? Three piece on order same time promise delivery but never arrives. I would recommend that people don’t buy from them . Today just cancelled delivery yet again disgusting!

The delivery date was changed 3 times after 4 months waiting for the sofa and footstool and my order is still not delivered (order 2967614) Yesterday the delivery team in Belfast brought me only an electric reclined sofa without adapter and footstool. When asked where are the missing items, the driver told me that the adapter is in the van but he does not have time to look for it because has a mess and the footstool is somewhere in the warehouse but they can't find it. I called customer service many times but each time they cut off the conversation when they told me to stay on the line because they need to consult someone. Sofology is the worst company I have ever deal with it. I'm sure the owner of this company has the most blushing face man in the UK. Sofology is the best example of how not to do business.

Ordered settee early july, finally received it today, 26th november, delivery men werea piece of work, left it dumped in the garden of a disabled woman with parkinsons, admittedly given a 10% compensation fee, like sometging out of a laurel and hardy film, will never use again, how these people trade is a joke, avoid at all costs, customer service is none existent, no updates by them, had to do all the leg work to find out what the hold ups were...would give negative stars.....

Got my sofa delivered on Sunday but it’s the wrong sofa it has recliner chairs in it and the headrests are on the wrong way round so stick out. Tried calling customer service and to be told they could only speak to him. Did a 50 mile round trip where we bought it to be told nothing to do with them call customer service avoid this place at all cost. Absolutely shocking

Ordered a couch 6 months ago ok told us take 14 weeks or could be earlier so got email for september then October no delivery then gets email to say pay balance pick a slot which we picked 12th nov got email saying be here between 7 to 1030 make sure everywere is clear so got rid of the couch smashed up in garden waited all day no sign finally after two hrs got thru on phone to be told couch not even in warehouse but will send a loan couch out on the Thursday week later never arrived then gets phone call saying it will be getting delivered today we went on site were you can chat live they said yes be getting delivered but had no email to say what time can honestly say this is not coming today there fobbing us of all the time,going to shop tomorrow because nor putting up with this no more want your money but dont deliver your goods fuming,been sitting on fold up chairs for two weeks ,

Terrible experience!!! Was given a date for a sofa delivery and the evening before I had a call to say the sofa wouldn’t arrive as it had gone to the wrong depot. This was a message left on my voice mail but I still received emails and texts to say the sofa would be coming so tried to contact customer services to find out what was happening. Was in a queue for 1 hour 53 mins before I spoke to anyone just to be told my sofa was indeed in the wrong place. Another delivery was arranged so I booked a second day off work and this time there was no emails or texts with time schedules so I just had to wait in. The sofa arrived and when the delivery men unwrapped it it turns out to be completely the wrong sofa just labelled as mine!! Another 43 mins in the queue to customer service and I was informed they have no idea where my sofa is and they will “send some emails and someone will get back to me”. I don’t hold out much hope after reading some of the reviews on other review sites recently!! During this process I have filled out two contact forms and am yet to have anyone contact me. So currently I have taken two days off work, have disposed of my old sofa and have started paying for something that I have no idea where it is or when it will arrive! Avoid if at all possible!

What an absolute shambles ! I’m sat here waiting patiently for a sofa promised delivery before Christmas ordered one August. Today when I called to chase up after 12 weeks was told it wasn’t ever due in until the end of January. Same staff that took our money also said they would have to refer me to customer services but she’s not sure how long it will take them to call me . Again amazing customer service from The Chester store. No apology and bad attitude I won’t hold my breath for delivery in January judging these other reviews !
