Stay away from this cowboy company. Almost 4 months to arrive. PAID 2.5K IN FULL. Hallway, banister and walls damaged in the process. Engineer agreed with issues, however response was quite different, as nothing can be done, so someone is lying. Less than 2 months old. PLEASE STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY

WARNING – DON,T BUY FROM SOFOLOGY The sales people at sofology are very good at their jobs, making lots of promises and reassurances. At the end of the sales process, customs are urged to give them a positive review on trustpilolt, hence the 94% approval rating they advertise in the store windows. Unfortunately, that 5 star treatment ends when you have paid and left the store. If you have a problem after you have bought your sofa you will soon find that their support service is 1 star and their approval rating drops to 5% (Go to the Sofology reviews website for genuine reviews – not the sofology site). They provide a truly diabolical service. It will never be their fault, with excuses galore. The 3 seater sofa of our £3000 cream leather suite started peeling when it was just outside the two year warranty. Our complaint was first judged by an automated system which very quickly rejected stating it was out of warranty. Tried using their phone line, the queue started at 6, slowly went down to 2 and then jumped back up to 6, gave up after 45 mins. Best way to contact them is to e-mail and get them to phone you back. Their £234 Sofashield insurance isn't worth the paper its written on. Trying to make claim is waste of time. They deemed our claim to be a structural fault and therefore not covered by the insurance. We are a couple in our seventies so the usage was very light. Made from the best quality leather was how it was described to us. Good quality leather should not start peeling when it is just over 2 years old. It should have remained in good condition for a reasonable time, certainly much more than than the two years warranty period .We now avoid sitting where its peeling, worried that it will get much worse quickly. Their leather is made in china and is described as pigmented leather which means its been sprayed coated to improve the appearance. In our case its the pigment that's peeling leaving very basic Gray leather. The best offer they could make was to send someone to inspect the suite, if it was found to be faulty they would give us a voucher for the original £3000 to spend in their store, but to get this we had to pay them £1200 for the two year usage we had had from the suite making the total cost of a new suite £4200 Surely the first suite should have still been in nearly new condition if it had been of a reasonable quality. Our previous leather suite was still in good condition after 20 years use, unfortunately we sold it and bought this new suite which as turned out to be rubbish by comparison. When they finally refused to do anything about your faulty suite you will get an e-mail stating the problem has been resolved and the case closed. Resolved to who's satisfaction, certainly not the customers. Rubbish company, Don't go there.

Never again. Sofology are not interested in its customers. Material in Chiltern sofa gone all bobbly after only 3 months use. Told by sofology that this is due to friction and that the fibres will go bobbly. They said that there is no fault with the material and that I should buy a battery powered debobbling machine. Paid £1700 for something that looks as though we have had it 15 years. Poor quality furniture and non existent customer service. Extremely disappointed. Be warned.

I had chosen a sofa but wasn't quite ready to order, got so many emails everyday and was unable to unsubscribe. I phoned customer service twice but still the emails keep coming, spoke to Oldham branch and cocky sales girl who said the emails weren't from Sofology, made me so annoywd.

Stay away from this company initially the sales side were fab but after sales and customer service are a disgrace. we purchased a 2 seater and a 4 seater sofa and bought the care kit. after 18 months the 4 seater seating cushions are not holding their shape they have a sag in the middle and even after plumping up goes straight back down so there is no support. the 2 seater however which is the one that is predominately used the cushions are like new, only the springs ping. the outer cushions cover look too big for the inners. despite daily plumping and dressing as instructed still not holding shape quite flat. a call was made to support services and an engineer was sent in February 2019 as the interiors are guaranteed for 2 years this engineer visit was free of charge unfortunately he reported back it was not a manufacturing fault. MANUFACTURING FAULTS explained "black and white question no grey areas example although up to specifications could be refilled to stop sagging and misshaping" therefore there is no room for negotiation. Told me to complain again in 4 weeks if not happy with his plumping. second engineer visited had only been with the company 2 months he plumped the cushion placed plastic tie wraps on the springs to stop the ping and left, no manufacturing defaults! what a joke. called trading standards they advised me to get an independent report and told me to put on the consumer act of 2015 the goods are not fit for purpose. Informed sofology and was told they do not allow independent reports unless they specify the company that does the report and they would instruct someone to visit. independent engineer came removed the plastic tie wraps and refitted metal rings he told me he was willing to refill but said sofology would have to give the go ahead but low and behold yes you've got it they said NO because NO manufacturing faults no room on the sheet to write could be refilled to stop issue. so was instructed by sofology because i have had 18 months worth of use of the sofa that i am almost outwith my guarantee oops thought that was between 5 and 10 years for the sofas but never mind. to date we have now instructed furniture ombudsman and financial ombudsman because its on credit for 4 years so if you have a problem they will also look into it for you. as for sofology received email to say that case is now closed as they have had a satisfactory outcome HAHA hope this is of help to anyone else who are considering buying please think twice. everyone has their own experiences but the aftercare are shocking no support patronising and no rationality to solve a simple problem.

Would never buy from Sofology. Sofa I had bowed in the middle after 6 weeks. Was told that I shouldnt sit in the middle but its a 3 seater! Inspector was so patronising when he came to look at it. Made me feel very uneasy. In the end I got so upset with it I chopped the whole sofa up (after 3 months) and used it for firewood. When I took it apart it was shocking how badly made it was but at least it burned well. Stay away from the thieves at Sofaology!

Do not buy from Sofolgy if you want a decent leather suite . I bought a £5000.00 5 piece suite which after one days use the leather in one chair was badly puddled and the seat interior slops to the left . Looking at sofolgy reviews is an eye-opener . Customer service sent out a technician who told us that he would make a report that suggested we had a manufactures fault . I rang customer service a week later and they said the techs report said '' no fault was found ' UNBELIEVABLE !!! Do NOT fall for the smooth salesmen talk .

Absolutely disgusting company do not buy from them. The sales man was ok After sales disgusting. We have the Hendrix sofa which is 3 months old it has unfortunately got a tear in the fabric at the back of the sofa behind the cushions. It looks to me as if the fabric has a weak point and so frayed going along the line of the fabric about 6 inches long . The person on the phone from Sofology has accused my husband of cutting it ,I can’t believe she can get away with saying this to a customer, if I could have seen her face to face I would have slapped her face , how dare she . When is this company going to be taken to court for selling very poor goods . So buyer beware

Can’t give any less of a rating otherwise I would. Livid with the product and service from them. They live to pass the buck and I was advised to spill bleach on the sofa to claim insurance as they never own up to manufacturer faults and defect.

Telephone customer service is the worst I've EVER encountered. Absolutely useless. 4 calls on the same day all promised to fix an issue then send a confirmation. Not one of the 4 fixed the issue or emailed. Unbelievable how they're still trading. Will never go near one of their stores again. Shame I had to give them even 1 star.

My 2 year old sofa - which I paid cash for - has developed a roll on one of the cushions. Customer services told me I should have been "dressing" the cushions as the delivery driver showed me - don't think so they couldn't get in and out quick enough all they told me was to dust it. They tell me they can get someone to come and look at it at a cost of £69 - well thanks a bunch - They take your money and then have no interest. It will be a cold day in hell before I buy anything from them again.

Bought a sofa after 2 years the frame went and they sent someone out to repair it within a week it was the same fault, rang up customer service whom very kindly give us a credit note to go and pick a new sofa. Went to the local store with my 8 month pregnant wife and 2 year old staff very pleasant at first and willing to help, until they found out we had a credit note, now not helpful at all. Got home rang customer services again who offered us some vouchers for the inconvenience, personally I'm not interested in vouchers I just want a sofa that is fit for purpose. Placed my order with customer services over the phone and waited 4 weeks for it to arrive, it turned up the wrong colour and the wrong side (right hand not left hand) Rang customer service again who asked for pictures and said they would call back, sent the pictures straight away not call back, rang the following day and spoke to someone different who said it could be a picking error and would come back to us by 8pm.........guess what! Still no phone call. I would recommend looking at other competitors as this company clearly isn't interested all they want is your money after that you are on your own. Customer service is shocking. Stay clear!

We spent over £2,000 on an armchair and sofa to find that the interior foam in the cushions was really poor quality, it was even described by one of their own technicians as similar to the foam that you'd use in your bathroom. It was uncomfortable to sit on and offered very little support. Sofology's after sales is awful, you will end up speaking to a call centre who will stick rigidly to the script of, there's nothing we can do. There's so much information out there about the way Sofology operate, not least on "Watchdog" and "Rip Off Britain", if you do any kind of research on them, you won't make the mistake we did and steer well clear.

I bought a 3 and 2 seater sofa just over a year ago, avoid this company at all costs. The cushions on the sofa need plumping very day the one cushion particularly sagged after being told to plump and do a figure of 8 to stretch and re shape cushions the cushions are looking lumpy i hate the quality of the sofa. before this i purchased a saxon leater sofa chesterfield design it was still in wonderful condition after 12 years in fact pristine. what a disgrace the afterservice is what poor quality products. AVOID

Purchased Maddox 3 and 2 seater Sofas. And my experience is This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, do not be fooled by showroom service and superior products on display. This is where customer service starts and ends. Our sofas have sagged after 6 weeks, customer service service said I required to leave a further 12 weeks to customise for temperature etc. A further 3 month passed after umpteen hours phone calls and emails with customer service; given different operators and given so called tickets (not called complaint). The service ended with Technision coming tried to distribute surplus un ser ported leather, and finished by using a heat gun to shrink the leather this remedy lasted 2 days. Customer service now say engineers report found no fault. And any further visit is charged. Do not make the same mistake by visiting there showroom

Looking for a sofa I looked on Sofology website at their Linara range in sizes below;. 2 seater sofa = 192cm 3 seater sofa= 218cm 4 seater sofa = 243cm long. Notice how they are 25/26cm wider that the one before. So when I went to store I was going to order the 2 seater/corner/1 terminal 281cm long, but at least minute I figured that I had more than 26cm spare so went for the 3 seater/corner/1 terminal It wasn’t until several days later that I happened to be online and notice that it’s actually 50cm longer than the one before. Therefor too big to fit in room and would have been more accurately described as a 4 seater/corner/1 terminal. I rang the store and was told to go online, went online and found a number, which when I dialed was told was a website error and I would need to use website live chat. It took over an hour for first reply and all it said was................. "Good morning, as the goods are already at the supplier ready to be manufactured, this product is already coming into the depot. If you were to change it at this point, we would need to charge 30% , which would be £749.70 to change this at this stage. " Anyway, after a week or two of wasting my time they refused to acknowledge any issue with the wording/descriptions on their website. Insisted on 30% to cancel order or finally came down to 20% to allow me to amend the order. Final result is that I lost the £500, do not (and never will) have a Sofology sofa, Sofology made the sofa and sold it to some other unfortunate soul at full price as it appeared in their “preconfigured for express delivery" with a countdown to availability that was my delivery date, and they’ve never acknowledged any issue on their part. I wish had reviewed this company and their products online as I’d of known to avoid this company like the plague!

Well after seeing the watchdog programme about Sofology I should've taken note. Showroom experience at Lakeside was great Great selection of sofas and excellent staff. This however is where it falls short. Sofa arrives in 3 weeks (was told 7 weeks at least) so I thought great. HOWEVER.. Sofa arrives damaged and missing legs. Delivery driver makes sexist remarks when delivering the sofa saying 'did you measure this or your husband'..this maybe been acceptable in 1980 but not now mate. He's lucky i wasn't at home or he'd been told to do one. Sexist delivery man reports the damage directly to Sofology. this was confirmed in November 2018. I was told 6 week to wait. I wait until March 2019...still no repair. I ring and wait for 1 hour 13 mins before speaking to someone. They tell me the order was lost (thanks for letting us know)....not a re order is made and repair is sent. The repair was made but surprise surprise...no missing legs. Even the repair man rolled his eyes!! the legs then arrive which I fitted myself. I complain where I get a reply telling me that they are willing to offer 50 quid lovetoshop vouchers for the inconvenience. 50 quid!!!!! These people are a joke. I told them this and surprise surprise....no reply I can see that Sofology will be out of business the way they are going. I feel sorry for the people who work for them.
