My sofas have only lasted just over two years. I be I believe the leather to have sub standard panels. This was a large purchase for me and I am appalled at Sofology’s lukewarm response to me to date.

Bought sofa from sofology,3 seater and two chairs, the armrest filling on one has slumped so much you can feel the frame in the armrest, technician came out today to resolve the issue, not much difference and sofology customer care have washed their hands over it,saying it's a plumping issue and not manufacturing, you would expect if you spend over £3000 pounds on it,that it would last, the product is not Fit for purpose, keep away from sofology this bank holiday

Very up set customer, although I pacifically ask about discounts at the time of purchase and was told they don’t do discounts. I was sure they did, as I had seen it advertised at work, I’ve found out they do 5% for NHS workers, as we spent over £4,000 in the store this is worth having. BUT NO we can’t have the discount because it wasn’t applied at point of sale. How is this my fault SOFOLOGY I expected better from a company like yours.

Bought two sofas and a chair in December 2014 took out extended warranty, springs on one off the sofas have gone on one side, cousions are going flat, i have Sofashield also, have just phoned and got a lovely person who said yes you are totally covered for everthing and sent me details over my phone to fill in and send which i did right away. Another lovely lady( not very rude ) phoned me back and it was like getting blood from a stone just to get the springs done for which she said at first said i didnt have them on mysofa just the cousions! So when she finally accepted there are srings on my sofa she is insisting that im am not coverd for anything else!! When i purchasted these sofas and chair i took out the extended warrenty i was told i was covered on everything from haveing it cleaned if it gets accidently marked, cushions replace only onces if they go flat. Its strange how one person tells you onething and another rude person tells you another. ( yous really need better customer service training). Paid nearly £3000 in cash ( not that that should make any diffrence to one who pays monthy). But for anyone thinking off buying from Sofolgy i would really think about as for my next sofa purchase i will be going elsewhere.

Well I was worried after reading all these comments, but then every furniture review site I went on had terrible reviews, I guess people in general make more effort when they have something negative to say I guess that's human nature. I just wanted to post this so someone can read another side to make their decision whether to buy from them or not. I can honestly say my experience was just wonderful. We have had the Darcie corner suite for a few months now, no sagging like a lot of people have said, amazing customer service throughout and the delivery people were so conscious of not scratching our floor, gave great advice for looking after the sofa, and were really professional. it's The sofa is cream and is absolutely immaculate. My boyfriend is the very first person to complain about the smallest of things and even he was impressed we cannot fault them. Oh and the fab Irish lady in customer service who helped us was so kind and made the experience really effortless and easy. Thanks!

Bought corner unit in Oct 2018, Delivered Dec 2018, in a room where the TWO of us seldom go into, after only 4 months and very little usage we noticed the seating was not returning back to it's original position and sagging. Only today 06/04/19 contacted the store we purchased from, paying £2500, with footstool £3k almost, they told us this was nothing to do with them and contact the head office. This store staff were as nice as pie when purchasing the products but sounds like they don't give a toss once sold. I then rang customer service who read everything off a screen obviously to fob us off. Then we are asked to produce a picture so their so called trained staff can assess over next few days. Within 2 hours we received an email telling us basically to sit in differnet areas of the seating and keep plumping the cusions for the next 4-6 weeks.............. Never heard such dribble in all my life. It sounds to me that we are about to start a ping pong game of email arguments. I ONLY wish I had read these comments before purchasing this poor quality item for sofology. I will press for a full refund in the next few days and if not will take this shoddy outfit to court.

I would not recommend buying the Etienne sofa, the seat cushions sag in the centre after sitting on them for less than 45 minutes, its like sitting on a donut as the filling migrates to edge of the sat cushions, leaving a recess in the centre, despite being re dressed twice a day. They're only sat on by two people for no more than 2-3 hours maximum. Their technician said he couldn't identify a fault, redressed the cushions, and the filling moved within minutes of sitting down. The sofa looks great, has nice fabric but the seat fillings are not fit for purpose and its only a few months old. Sofology insist there is no fault and to re dress the cushions when they've been used, which is EXACTLY what we've doing since it arrived. This sofa is a costly £2,000 mistake as the seat fillings are extremely poor and NOT fit for purpose.

I paid for my settee in full at the Rotherham store they were very helpful can't fault the staff was going to buy another not a chance now, wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, I was told by the delivery men to say they had used the red sling which they did not the quality of the settee is rubbish only had it a month AVOID. AT ALL COST have it on finance if you buy one then they will have to take it back having my leather heated up was a joke they are not interested should have bought one from my usual store, would not replace it they said it was transit damage so it should have been replaced, if you have any problems with your settee from sofolgy GET TRADING STANDARDS INVOLVED SIMPLE BUYER BEWARE £50 compensation a joke

The price was good and we liked the settees. They were delivered on time by Chris and Ste who were very pleasant and checked we were happy with everything before they left. My previous settee was bought from them 3 years ago and we moved it on to my daughter as we wanted a different colour however it was near perfect after the 3 years. I believe the previous reviews but we have no complaints at all.

AVOID Store may be well presented but staff are too interested in you leaving a positive review. Bought a sofa from looking at one in the store. The seating was very firm and the back cushions were full and firm. Sofa arrived and was a poor imitation of the sofa which was on display! Send an email and got a generic reply. Rubbish customer services and laughable information to push and plump cushions, even intimated it was like "curtains" when they are new, the creases need to drop out. What a load of cobblers. Luck that we purchased on credit card as you can claim through card company via Section 75. The card company will refund you, and the process was quick and easy. If on finance, cancel the payments. If debit card claim at your bank with chargeback. Unfortunately with cash you will not find it so easy. Products are misrepresented and what you see in the store is not what you will receive.

Look elsewhere. They harass you at the start to leave a review on Trustpilot but this only after you've placed your order - its still several weeks before your furniture arrives, so the review request is premature and does not indiciate their overall performance. There's also zero comm's until the point at which they're ready to deliver the furniture, so weeks of absolute silence in between. What's even more disappointing is that in my case the furniture that was delivered was different to what we saw in store. In store my wife's feet could touch the ground when she sat on the couch but not on the furniture that was delivered by Sofology (the width was also different on one). They asked me to send a photo of the height of the seat and the backrest and then promptly told me that the height of the backrest is as per their specifications and "This is not a product or manufacturing fault and we will not be looking at replacing this". Nice. I'll go elsewhere next time.

Appalling customer service and poor quality. Bought a 2 seat, 3 seat, armchair and footstool in Jan 17, in two years they've been out three times, twice for poor support in cushions and lastly for two spring ends that came through the fabric on armchair causing holes and sharp ends. They sent out a subcontractor who was not impressed with Sofology overall, he made a half decent but not adequate repair but failed to make good the holes. I contact Sofology customer services who have asked for nearly £150 on material and labour to address the holes..... DO NOT BUY.... high priced low quality toot.... In 40 years of being a home owner its the worst suite we have ever bought, and we've had at least 8 or 9 in those years...

Ordered the 4 seater recliner laurence sofa and recliner chair. Arrived as expected 17th december. We went on holiday 20th december and home 5th january. By 10th january the seats had dipped ridiculously low. Emailed customer service and advised to send photos. Duly sent photos showing the dips in the 2 recliner seats compared to the middle section which was still ok. Received an unbelievably patronising email telling me that this is what leather does, apparently, the seats dip and the leather pools and stretches. Then proceeded to advise me of the 10 minutes of maintenance I should do to the seats every day to keep leather looking good and sorting the foam out and said from the photos they can tell the seats are fine, i need to do the maintenance and therefore there is no complaint to answer, so the complaint was closed! With my blood boiling, i replied that at 47 years old, i have owned various leather sofas and i could assure them that that level of dipping and pooling is NOT normal after 7 days of sitting on them - not normal of seats of half decent quality anyway. I advised them That i certainly didnt consider the matter closed and suggested they get someone to ring me. I got a phone call the next day, and again got bombarded with ‘advice’ on various methods of maintenance that they still insist is normal and thats what all the stores do to all their sofas. Really? 10 minutes on each sofa, every day? One of the worst things any company can do is treat their customers like they are stupid. An appointment for an independent engineer was made. He came, was very nice but said all he can do is check the frame and springs aren’t broken as that is all they consider manufacturing faults. We all know its a quality issue not a manufacturing fault. He said that whereas in the past, the seats were made of decent depth of foam, sofology now employ a method of way less foam and then wrap it in something that bulks the seats up for when you first get them but then sinks immediately. All down to cost savings, obviously- despite paying over £3500 for the sofa and chair. I think that deserves the full amount of foam!! So, we’re stuck with the sofa - but will never, ever use this company again. No wonder they have to change their name every few years, as they appear on Watchdog all the time. Unfortunately i didnt know this until it was too late.
