I purchased a pair of shoes for over £200. Royal mail lost them and they were never delivered. VC do not use humans in their customer care team it is a bot, and you go around in circles. I am 3 weeks in back and forth, they have since suspended my account. I have had to open another account to talk to their webchat function. I left a negative review on trustpilot to which they responding asking me for further info but left no means to contact them so back to chat function again. No response. I am left in limbo, Royal Mail cannot support as I am the receiver and not the shipper. I have had to dispute the charge with my bank. Avoid at all costs.

Vestiaire can absolutely not be trusted to purchase from or to sell through. I purchased multiple bags and accessories from Tradesy without any problems, ever, Vestiaire is ABSOLUTELY NOT Tradesy, do not purchase from them thinking you have the same protections and trust as you once did with Tradesy. I purchased a $4000 CHANEL bag from Vestiaire, it was listed as a crossbody bag in the title, the description had the measurements but not the strap drop. When I received the bag I was shocked that the strap drop was only 17”, absolutely NOT a crossbody bag as advertised. After speaking to customer service via chat about a return and providing 15 photos of the strap drop being measured as well as the bag with SIX other CHANEL bags that ARE crossbody, I was told to return the bag and they would process the return and refund me. They sent me the return directions and label. The bag was sent back the same day. When they received the bag in its packaging with all labels still attached etc, I received an email refusing the return and giving me the option of sending it back to me or approving them to list it for me and send me payment for the bag after the sale. Of course minus the $450 in fees I paid on the initial purchase. It said I had three days to make a decision. Within hours of the e-mail, Vestiaire listed the bag for sale under my profile without my permission!!! And again it still had the completely false and misleading title Chanel Timeless Classique Crossbody Bag!!! I was absolutely SHOCKED!!!! There was no way for me to change the title, description, measurements, nothing!!!!! Even if I wanted to sell this bag through them, I would have been completely unable to provide buyers an accurate description of what they were actually purchasing!!! I couldn’t believe it, this company was providing false titles AND descriptions of what they selling, falsely advertising merchandise to consumers and standing by their inaccurate and misleading information. I removed the bag from sale on my account manually. I contacted customer service immediately! I was outraged and at this point incredibly worried about the $4000 bag that they had in their possession and about the professionalism of the company and its staff. After speaking to a representative who was patronizing at best, I received an email that I was to reply to and provide pictures. I did so, providing all of the pictures as well as a complete description of the situation and a picture of the listing stating this was a crossbody bag. I received replies stating it was again refused and they would escalate it to a higher level of dispute. It was once again refused for refund. I contacted customer service again for them to send the bag back to me immediately. I am currently awaiting the return of the $4000 CHANEL bag. I went back to the website and in addition to all of the above happening, THEY CHANGED THE INFORMATION LISTED ON THE PURCHASE SUMMARY!!! I cannot believe the complete deceit of this company; I wish that I had taken screen shots! What once said that I had 3 days to decide to have the bag sent back to me or wanted them to relist it now says only that they will relist it! I absolutely could not believe it! THEN I went into the quality control report that I received when the bag was at the authentication department, I could absolutely not believe my eyes! That report had been changed as well!! When I first received the report, it stated that the “corners of the bag had been dyed which may affect its resale value”, had two pictures of the corners, and the level of defect was marked as low. I was aware of the spa treatment to the corners as I had messaged with the seller asking if the bag had been dyed. The problem is, NOW the report only has one picture, does not say corners, now it says the bag has been REDYED and does NOT specify corners, AND it lists the defect as MEDIUM! Are you kidding me?!?! This is so unethical I cannot seem to wrap my head around it. Run far away from buying or selling with this company!!! I should have done more research in regards to Vestiaire and not trusted that they were the same but better after merging with Tradesy! The multitude of bad reviews from buyers as well as sellers says it all. Unethical to say the very least! They are an absolute scam of a company.

Terrible customer service. Their authentication process is faulty and worst of all they cannot tell you what to do differently to correct issues. All of my items were purchased directly by me brand new from original boutiques I have no doubt of authenticity. I provided receipts, bar codes however still rejected with no explanation. With a system this faulty I can only think there will be other issues too. the arrogant customer reps only augment the issue.

Thank you I received my shoes I was very happy with them and very happy with the experience I thought it would take a lot longer to process and receive from Europe to Australia but was quicker I was abit apprehensive as I had never heard about this website before I will definitely but again communication on tracking website very good thank you

I have been selling with vestiare collective for years. I made them a lot of money but i’m done with that now! I shipped my vintage fendi croissant bag for authentication and the item got refused. They have someone who had no clue about vintage fendi bags!! They have the same fendi bag multiple times on there site!! Now they are asking me to pay 15€ to get my authentic bag back??? What’s wrong with u! Get your authenticators a proper eduction! You will send my bag back and i will file an official complaint

This company should really be shut down, it’s a fraud. I’ve never seen so many bad reviews on one company and yet they make so much money. I’ve recently bought a bag with a missing accessory that was not highlighted in their quality control report. I’ve sent them an email as soon as I’ve received the item and their excuse was the chain was sent to me but they do not have pictured proof. So the solution is to give me a 10% voucher or to return to them for a refund. After reading all the horror stories, I have 0 confidence that I will be refunded. I pay hundreds for buyers fee but am not protected at all. I’ve also spent thousands of euros on purchases and unfortunately have to learn the hard way to NEVER use them again! The customer care team was so unapologetic and treated the case like it happens all the time. Everyone should stay away from them!

Worst non English customer email responses. No body tracks conversation on matter at issue. I never received a jacket but was charged and delivery tracking still says 48hrs when it has been 4 months. Also, I was charged by FedEx a month later on custom tax for $325 on top of a $800 purse and tax I paid for. They never warned me there is a 30% import tax. After 2 months of emails. I give up. 2 out of 2 stressful transactions is unacceptable, I will Never use Vestiaire again!

I sold my item and shipped it per instructions, but the buyer never collected their package and ignored my messages. After two months, the package was returned to me but UPS charged me €25.99 for the return shipping and Vestiaire refused to cover the expenses. I also didn’t get paid as the buyer has to inspect the received goods first, before the payment is processed. Why to penalize the seller if a buyer changes their mind after the sale?

Don't trust this company. I bought a pair of Gucci boots, they were in terrible condition, and the bottom was cracked. They were unwearable, I contacted them to explain the condition of the boots and VC sent me a shipping label. I sent back the boots And when they got the package, They sent an email telling me that I sent them the wrong package. Instead of sending the boots I sent them a huge box full of magazines from a company I never heard of before. I asked for pictures and the box as well the shipping label didnt match with the one I sent them. Their shipping label was printed on a whole legal page and the ink was darker, and it covered half of the lid of the box. The box I went for was a really small box 3 or 4 pounds and the shipping label the ink wasn't darker than the VC was. The shipping label ink was less dark, and the size was about one-quarter of the page. So I have to fold it in order to tape it on the box. They are liars and big scammers. As we speak haven't recovered money from them.

If I can , I will give negative star. Disable my account without any reason. Cannot login for 2days . Just after 30mins conversation with VS customer service then my account blocked . They even said sorry to cause me all the inconvenience then blocked my account ??? Why . No way can send them a chat asking why ?? Beware customers when using this website . Not reliable and cannot be trust . Stay away . 1000% not recommend .

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought here Valentino Garavani sandals in "very good condition". The sandals were inspected by Vestiaire quality control team and they even attached their label to it. Once the shoes arrived they were a bit small and Vestiaire offered the solution to resell them, which I did. Once the new buyer received the shoes she complained for no reason as the shoes were as described with all labels attached. However, Vestiaire accepted the complain and the sandals returned to me. Once I wrote to customer service, George R who works there, completely ignored my messages and never replied (for 2 days now). Once I asked them via email to send the sandals to them again so they can see that they are the same condition as described, with all Vestiaire tags attached, they simply ignored this. This has nothing to do with money, it is about DISRESPECT that this company shows towards its Buyers and Sellers, it is about customer service that does not exist, it is about the fact that they take very high provisions from sellers and now even additional provisions from Buyers and they offer nothing in return. They are completely INCAPABLE of handling the direct shipping options as it is easier for them to accept all possible complains instead of dealing with any situation at all. PAY ATTENTION THAT ALL POSITIVE COMMENTS HERE ARE INVITED ONES, while all other, REAL COMMENTS, are actually negative experiences from their Buyers and Sellers. A shame.
