Used the APP since it started. I have bought some nice clothes - new. However, beware of their jewellery department. I’ve had items authenticated and sent to me, only to be rejected/questioned by the authentication team when reselling. I have had 4 shocking encounters with their authenticity team & exasperating customer service. First, I bought a 6600€ Van Cleef necklace, that was authenticated. When it arrived, it was in a terrible state. a seller took an earring, bought a separate chain from Van Cleef and had a jeweller fuse them together. The certificate code matched a chain and not the product code of the item as sold by Van Cleef. This was not picked up by Vestiaire. The clover pendant was out of shape and I had a real issue getting my money back. I am a direct buyer from Van Cleef and they emailed confirming the item was a hybrid of two parts fraudulently passed of as a gold, diamond vintage Alhambra necklace. At the time of this terrible purchase I sold a couple of my items. One was my own perfect little Van Cleef Sweet Alhambra bracelet for 1450€ and unfortunately I mixed the shipping labels with all the stress. I had requested DHL only shipment labels, but I may as well have spoken to the wall. They sent UPS and I had to go to a small shop to send item. I’d already used the shipping label and instead of being rejected by the kiosk they sent it. So I had 2 items going to the same address. I contacted Vestiaire asking them to recall the delivery and ups required their authority as Vestiaire emailed me the shipment and paid for the label. I couldn’t just change an address. I needed Vestiaire to recall the parcel. UPS kindly put the delivery on hold and for 3 weeks I begged customer service to help me. They refused. Said it wasn’t their fault. What an attitude. Three weeks begging for help and I lost the item and my money. A seller in Italy got lucky and lied saying she hadn’t taken delivery when ups confirmed she signed for it. Lastly, and it will be the last purchase, I will only buy directly from Van Cleef in future, I bought a Perlee necklace with certification. There was no certification. Vestiaire still shipped it to me. The item was advertised with false photos and the condition is poor. Again, tough on me. Lastly I bought a Chaunet necklace brand new with certification and it turned up with a huge chip in the stone and a certificate in RED from a seconds department at Louis Vuitton head office. Sold to me and authenticated as brand new! So my relationship with Vestiaire jewellery buying is over. I’ve lost a lot of money and there is no care in their customer care department. This site won’t let me upload photos I have. Think I’ll make a YouTube video on this.

Total joke, somebody bought an expensive item and the address looked totally wrong, seems to go to a Hotel in Poland, so I googled the address and the name of the hotel, it doesn't exist, contacted customer service, after letting me wait for ages they told me to send because if I cancel I get bad feedback and if it can't be delivered they have a department who deals with that. Well, the problem is that I am shipping from the UK, so I will have to pay customs and return postage for my own item. I did point out that the address does not exist, same answer "Send or cancel, if you cancel your account will be negatively impacted!"

They are never on time. If you want to buy present for somebody buy it one year before then maybe you will get your items on time! Now second time I buy at them and for zure the last time.

I am so angry, annoyed and frustrated. I have deleted some listings due to error and uploaded them again but it got refused to list because the pictures weren’t good enough!! BUT how come I was able to use the same pictures on my previous listings??? Obviously different staff members different outcome, or it depends on their mood. What the heck SERIOUSLY! I no longer want to list them because I have better things to do than just waste my time. I’ll stick to eBay.

2 separate orders canceled, both after being paid in full, no explanation from sellers and no help from Vestaire customer service. To add insult to injury (disamointment) my refund took 10 business days! I’ve moved on from them and now use The Real Real.

Customer service is terrible. They are not ready to help you, sending generic messages etc. They also provided wrong information about my sold item which lead me to sell it and then I earned less money then they informed me. After that, his colleague did nothing to help but only said “ I am sorry for my friend giving you false information “and that was it. So be careful cause if you will have an issue with anything nobody will help you. Don’t sell your items there, that can’t be trusted.

My wife tried to sell an authentic vintage designer bag (bought from the boutique of the designer in Paris during a trip over 20 years ago) however the "experts" apparently couldn't authenticate, possibly because their expertise might be in other fields, like fruit picking.... We tried to check what was wrong, and to see our pictures (we took all 15 pictures allowed, all showing branding, stamps, serial number) - guess what, our pictures were GONE, she is now accused of selling a fake because their non-experts are incapable of authenticating, has to pay to have her property returned, this is a total joke. This company is a failure and I wouldn't recommend that anybody trusts them with expensive designer items, I wish I would have read more reviews about them. We are paying to get the item back, then get it authenticated by and expert, then we will approach the media with the evidence and hope that they haven't been paid off by the PR machine of Vestiaire.

Do not buy from this site. The description of all items do not match. Dust bag was suppose to be included wasn’t in the package. I returned the item and received a return slip because the agent agreed the item did not match. Then after waiting for 7 days they refused the refund they have placed the item on my account to sell. Then they want more fees to deduct from me from if it gets sold. Seriously this company is making money just doing this. The Chatline are not helpful at all stopped the conversation.

Avoid at all cost. The site offered a 15% discount off my first order. In order to get the discount you have to use their app. I signed up to their app, started the purchase, applied the discount code and then the sale hands over to Pay Pal. At that point they removed the discount code and the higher price is paid with Pay Pal. I raised the issue with their online chat service who said unless I could provide prove I have applied the discount code there was nothing I could do. Also I would be unable to cancel the order. My advice is stick with an honest reputable company like Ebay. These guys are not want they seem. Avoid

If I could give 0,I would..i received empty parcel..they protected only the seller!!! I payed 400€ for 2 boxes..and it should be a christmas gift🤯the seller Sudschaleo Sungthong from Germany is a liar and a thief..please watch out🙏 It was Hermès Oran leather sandals white (ref. 48979946)..labeled weight from DHL on parcel was 0,5kg..and i weighted the parcel with adding my old oran slides and my old 2 pouchs and the weight is 1,055kg..i sent them a video to proove the justice,but nothing change🥲 I trust that the karma will do justice with seller..also adding a profile photo of the thief from VC,shame on her!!!!!!

Horrible company, STAY AWAY if you’re in the US!!!! No buyers protection!!!! I was a first time buyer (and last) on this platform, my dream coat went on sale for a great price and I jumped on it. The site said they offer a 10% first time buyer discount, use welcomevc code. The total reflected a $35 shipping and that’s it. Then I put my address in and it asked how I want to pay, I chose Apple Pay and after I clicked pay I noticed I was charged around a $1000 more than expected. Firstly I only got $50 off instead of 10%, I got charged a $210 tax and $580 in import fees. I immediately contacted the seller asking her not to ship because I have to figure out what these charges are and then talked to customer service, they did not offer any help! They told me only the seller can cancel an order to message her and they were sure the seller would cancel, why can’t they contact the seller? I’m sure they have a phone number for the seller! Since I have dual citizenship, I asked the rep to change the shipping address to my European address and refund the Vat charge and she said there is no way to do that. Why not? Item hasn’t been shipped yet and even if it was, it was shipped to their “authenticator” for physical review, they can ship it to anywhere from there! But the answer was no! I hung up and messaged the seller as that’s the only way to contact her and asked her to cancel the order. She didn’t reply and an hour later I got a notification that the seller shipped! If she got a notice that she sold her item, she got a notice about my messages too, she ignored it to make a sale! I have been fighting with the company since with no resolution. I’m going to dispute the charge and at this point I don’t even trust the authenticating process, nor the sellers description. Oh and on top of it the site says free returns within 14 days, shipping is on them but then it says only from professional sellers… meaning if you’re not satisfied with your order you are screwed!

Received a Burberry jacket after waiting weeks to get it verified and shipped to me. The seller emailed me AFTER I bought it to say the jacket is stained (marked as very good condition with no flaws noted) then sent it before I’d responded stating whether or not I was happy to proceed. VC totally missed this in their verification and also a tear, fraying, split collar with what looks like burn marks (I think made maybe in an attempt to seal the tear, don’t really know.) the jacket also has noticeable wear to the seams. None of this seemed an issue to VC on a jacket marked as VG with no damage. Contacted the buyer first to see if we could politely try to sort the issue out. She said VC have verified and basically tough. So contacted VC. I actually want to keep the jacket anyway. I don’t have the time to return it during the Xmas period and I still like it I just want a partial refund to reflect the wear. All they would offer is 15 euros (I live in UK) in credit. As I absolutely won’t be shopping with them again this is useless to me. Or I can return the jacket and IF they agree that there are flaws that they missed the first time they’ll refund me. If not they’ll sell the jacket for me. Again and again iv said I won’t to keep it. They’ve totally ignored me and even sent a postage label at their cost so I can return the jacket. How am I in a position where a clothing retailer will spend money and lose the massive fee I paid them and am fighting them to keep a jacket I would like to keep instead of offering a partial refund, which should come out of the seller’s take anyhow, having a happy customer and paying for postage that’s literally coming out of their pocket. Seems like idiots running a company bound by rules that actively discourage buyers from returning, keeping purchases and lose their own business money. So buyers be warned if you get an item not as described it’ll probably be missed by VC and the process of being refunded or compensated accordingly is not an easy one. I’m contacting my bank to try and arrange a partial refund that way. Never shopping with these clowns again though. The fees alone almost put me off. Shame as it’s a good idea, done very poorly

I ordered a Gucci Bag and I agreed to pay in 3 terms. Now they have charged me one term extra: €258,30. It seems no one is directly available to help me with this. There is only a chat but still no one helped me to solve it. I already blocked my creditcard and now waiting for a new card. I would not recommend to split the payment since they just took an extra payment from my card. Perhaps if I wouldn’t have payed in one time by for instance I Deal, that everything would have been fine but now it isn’t.

One thing that people say on the internet is true. Vestiare collective has negative reviews. I bought a fake from them that they identified as original. I had it appraised by an expert and it is a fake item. I do not trust their expertise. I sold a new jacket with documents and original labels that they could not confirm its authenticity. How can I trust people who call a fake an original but cannot confirm that autentic of Orginal item.

I purchased a black soho Gucci bag which after wearing for one hour started losing the black paint to reveal a red bag. After three days of back and forth emails , returned the bag to eventually get a full refund. They now have it listed twice with different pics and different prices but no mention that it was originally red.

I purchased a cashmere scarf on 11/21- got a confirmation. I'll admit, I did not read the note fully, only to discover that it was not perfect as described. Smelled of smoke and a few flaws. I reached out within minutes to try to cancel- I was told that I could not! Today is 12/18, and I have yet to receive it. I would not recommend them,and I'm very glad that I did not purchase an expensive item! No more from them
