“Before I bought my 'authentic' Louis Vuitton handbag which was authenticated BY Vestaire Collective, I asked specific questions, including the status of the used 'original/real LV bag. The description was it was in very good condition but arrived with a tear on the inside pocket. More importantly, it was obviously fake. The inside of the handbag was NOT leather but vinyl which is probably why the tear. I'm not even sure about the handles are real leather although they are of better quality than the inside of the handbag. It also didn't even come in its own Louis Vuitton cover bag but rather a much larger LV cover bag. This is why I DON'T buy designed handbags or jewellery online. It ALWAYS ends up being fake! I am not happy!!”

“I don’t like that buyers are not committed to buying, after the seller accepts their offer. Their payment should automatically go through after a seller accepts the offer. This way they will be more serious about their transaction, and don’t throw offers left and right and never pay. But, generally I am happy with this platform so far.”

“The item I bought was Amazing! And the lady reduced it to more than half, I was really happy…… but then …….. the fees are Absolutely ridiculous, I think it cost me about £150 to get it from France! I have a rail pass so would have been cheaper to go on the Eurostar and get if myself. EBay or Vinted might seen less upmarket but you can still get some Amazing Designer clothing without the extortionate fees! Verstiaire collective please learn from them.”
