“They are never on time. If you want to buy present for somebody buy it one year before then maybe you will get your items on time! Now second time I buy at them and for zure the last time.”

“Don’t buy from this Vestiaire collective I bought 1 pair shoes I didn’t realize the size was EU not US I contacted them right away instead they block me from asking questions shipped me the shoes then they wanted me to resell the shoes! I deleted the app! Not buying anything from them again. Is ridiculous they have no customer service they won’t help you at all! Angry customer!”

“Scams! Many scammers active on this platform. Vestiaire allows this and you will lose your money in no time. They say they are doing a survey but come up with false data. I recommend everyone not to use this platform!”

“Beware of scams! I had sold a bag through vestiaire collective without verification. When the buyer received the bag, she indicated with false evidence (such as cigarettes in the bag etc) that the bag was not as stated. Vestiaire agreed to return the bag while I clearly indicated that the buyer had done this herself! I then received an empty box with no bag. Vestiaire collective states that according to their research the bag was just in the box and does nothing about this! So beware, I have now read several stories of people where this has happened. It is very easy for scammers to operate on this platform. And vestiaire does not bother to do real research and just let this happen.”

“Absoloute Scammers. If a buyer decides to return an item you will loose your money if you do not pay an additional £15 to Vestiaire to get your item returned from them. Sent 100% authentic item to buyer who returned it to Vestiaire Collective hub. Their verification team said they could not verify the authenticity themselves of item and then tried to charge us £15 to return the item back to us, if not the item would be destroyed!. We have receipt of purchase invoice from verified supplier as proof of authenticity which we sent to them. They just continued to tell us to pay £15 to get the item returned.”

“I am so angry, annoyed and frustrated. I have deleted some listings due to error and uploaded them again but it got refused to list because the pictures weren’t good enough!! BUT how come I was able to use the same pictures on my previous listings??? Obviously different staff members different outcome, or it depends on their mood. What the heck SERIOUSLY! I no longer want to list them because I have better things to do than just waste my time. I’ll stick to eBay.”

“2 separate orders canceled, both after being paid in full, no explanation from sellers and no help from Vestaire customer service. To add insult to injury (disamointment) my refund took 10 business days! I’ve moved on from them and now use The Real Real.”

“Customer service is terrible. They are not ready to help you, sending generic messages etc. They also provided wrong information about my sold item which lead me to sell it and then I earned less money then they informed me. After that, his colleague did nothing to help but only said “ I am sorry for my friend giving you false information “and that was it. So be careful cause if you will have an issue with anything nobody will help you. Don’t sell your items there, that can’t be trusted.”

“I have had numerous issues with Vestiaire Collective over the past month. The platform constantly fails to deliver proper service, and I've been deceived as a seller. While other platforms charge a commission and provide proper support, fraud protection, and solutions for lost parcels, Vestiaire Collective does none of this. On multiple occasions, I've had my funds withheld, and I’ve had to track every transaction to ensure I’m actually receiving my payments. Customer support only provides generic, scripted responses and does not address issues meaningfully. This platform is unreliable, and I am extremely frustrated with the lack of professionalism and transparency. If there was an option to rate this service below 0, that would be my score. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of using this platform to reconsider.”

“Avoid! They protect sellers and don’t care about buyers. So if you wanna sell item which is broken or in poor condition for the price of brand new this is the right place for it. Otherwise you’ll be very disappointed. Be aware thee is no returns/ refunds here whatsoever. I bought a bag and coat and both were listed incorrectly! Coat listed as cashmere with mink fur turned out to be wool with rabbit fur. And bag listed as crossbody one missed a strap, so you can’t really wear it! Tried contact sellers but they ignored my messages. Spent £4500 in total for items I don’t like and don’t want. Customer service is useless, they not gonna help because their commission included in the sales.”

“SELLERS BEWARE! I have sold over 140 items on this platform. Today, they reached out to me and told me they approved a return for a Fendi vintage evening bag. They told me the reasoning was because the strap of the bag broke while the buyer was using it. This platform is allowing someone to return a bag to me after they used it and damaged it. I have sold over 2000 items on other platforms and I have never had something like this happen. It’s so unethical to approve this, especially when the buyer admitted to causing the damage.”

“My wife tried to sell an authentic vintage designer bag (bought from the boutique of the designer in Paris during a trip over 20 years ago) however the "experts" apparently couldn't authenticate, possibly because their expertise might be in other fields, like fruit picking.... We tried to check what was wrong, and to see our pictures (we took all 15 pictures allowed, all showing branding, stamps, serial number) - guess what, our pictures were GONE, she is now accused of selling a fake because their non-experts are incapable of authenticating, has to pay to have her property returned, this is a total joke. This company is a failure and I wouldn't recommend that anybody trusts them with expensive designer items, I wish I would have read more reviews about them. We are paying to get the item back, then get it authenticated by and expert, then we will approach the media with the evidence and hope that they haven't been paid off by the PR machine of Vestiaire.”

“Do not buy from this site. The description of all items do not match. Dust bag was suppose to be included wasn’t in the package. I returned the item and received a return slip because the agent agreed the item did not match. Then after waiting for 7 days they refused the refund they have placed the item on my account to sell. Then they want more fees to deduct from me from if it gets sold. Seriously this company is making money just doing this. The Chatline are not helpful at all stopped the conversation.”

“I purchased a bag on Vestiaire that was advertised as being located in France, but it was shipped from Bulgaria. Despite filtering for items from specific locations (France), the platform confirms that this is allowed and can happen. They told me there is nothing wrong that seller ships the item from a different country. When I contacted Vestiaire about this clear discrepancy, they questioned my claims and told me I made it up and the bag was never advertised as located in France. Even though the admitted the seller operates both in France an Bulgaria. Their buyer protection failed completely. Even though their policies state refunds are issued for non-conformity, they refused to act. This platform lacks of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. If you care about accurate listings and reliable protection of your purchase, avoid Vestiaire.”

“BEWARE OF VC. False advertising. Complete SCAM! DO NOT BUY! I ordered a pair of designer loafers that were advertised as a 9/10. They arrived with a hole in the sole of the shoe! My first thought was is this a joke? Their quality control authenticator approved the product, saying “there’s a small difference between the description and actual”. No mention of the sole being worn out. What a joke! I paid $583.00 and they refused to refund me as I was on holidays out of the country and passed the 2 days refund policy. The delivery was supposed to come after I returned home but came earlier than expected. Why are they not holding the seller accountable for not disclosing the condition on the shoes? Now I will have to fight to get my money back. What a pain and waste of energy.”

“Avoid at all cost. The site offered a 15% discount off my first order. In order to get the discount you have to use their app. I signed up to their app, started the purchase, applied the discount code and then the sale hands over to Pay Pal. At that point they removed the discount code and the higher price is paid with Pay Pal. I raised the issue with their online chat service who said unless I could provide prove I have applied the discount code there was nothing I could do. Also I would be unable to cancel the order. My advice is stick with an honest reputable company like Ebay. These guys are not want they seem. Avoid”

“If I could give 0,I would..i received empty parcel..they protected only the seller!!! I payed 400€ for 2 boxes..and it should be a christmas gift🤯the seller Sudschaleo Sungthong from Germany is a liar and a thief..please watch out🙏 It was Hermès Oran leather sandals white (ref. 48979946)..labeled weight from DHL on parcel was 0,5kg..and i weighted the parcel with adding my old oran slides and my old 2 pouchs and the weight is 1,055kg..i sent them a video to proove the justice,but nothing change🥲 I trust that the karma will do justice with seller..also adding a profile photo of the thief from VC,shame on her!!!!!!”
