The worst customer service ever! They try everything not to offer after-sales services. They don't even have a call center number. I had several very negative experiences. They lost my items in the shipping. Bought a very expensive piece of jewelry it wasn't shipped for one month. The information on it was wrong they promised a $100 voucher code and didn't honor it. Not reliable, and platform to buy or sell!

I have had the same experience several times with VC. I sold an item, which I had left with VC storage, so they shipped the sold item on 25/10/22. Buyer received item on 26/10/22. VC sent me mail on 26/10/22 that my money would be transferred within 24 hours(over £1500) What has happened since, has just been a nightmare. On the 27th i queried why there was no email confirming the transfer(standard practice by VC) i was informed the transfer had been made and a screenshot purporting transfer will be processed on that day sent…Cut a long story short, transfer was never made, as im writing this message i am without my money, VC has taken to ignoring ALL my request to know where is my money. I have received 5 or 6 different messages claiming they understand and they are sorting it and 3 times confirmed its been transferred, all lies. Customer service at VC is a total joke, they are uninformed, disjointed and at the very least incompetent. If anyone else did this with your money, it would be classed as an attempted theft. VC has now held my money for over 6 days, against my wishes(im sure there is an illegality there ) There is no way to contact a sane person at the company and understand what they are doing, they have done this exact thing to me 3 other times, so leads me to believe, its the company’s MO. At the very minimum its very dubious practice, if not illegal. They have literally no resolution platform, apart from a skeleton staff, who just respond abstractly with stock emails of the company’s standard”one size fits all” response. They are literally the worst Customer service of any company in the industry. VC are holding my money and probably, literally millions of other peoples money, against those peoples wishes and all communication to sort it, are simply ignored by VC. This is as close to Sharp practice as it gets in UK law.

I was a former seller with Tradesy and did an enormous amount of sales with them, never had any problems whatsoever...then they were bought by Vestiaire. Wow, what a mistake. No sales, only likes, people asking for ridiculous prices because they have to pay custom fees, customer service is awful. Have switched back to Ebay and Poshmark, slowly removing everything from Vestiaire. If you're on Tradesy and they want you to swtich...DON'T DO IT!!!! Save yourself time and aggravation, go somewhere else to sell. Plus I understand they are going to raise fees too. Tradesy, you did us wrong! I hope you don't go down with the french ship!

Very poor customer service and unfair business model. I shipped an item to a buyer on the day of a purchase, 16 days ago. Vestaire Collective successfully collected money from the buyer. The buyer didn’t pick up the shipped item for about two weeks. I am still not paid. I’ve contacted customer serice a few times and asked for my item to be shipped back since the buyer didnt want to pick up the item from the collection point. My request hasnt been addressed and there is no help so far. This is a serious flaw in Vestaire Collective’s business model as far as customer satisfaction is concerned. But presumably Vestaire Collective is earning interest on the money they pay to sellers with significant delay. I still havent been paid.

The very first item I sold on Vest. went badly. The buyer claimed the box was empty. I got no real information from Vestiaire but was able to chat with an agent. They told me that they were investigating but I would get my money back. Then I got an email tonight saying the wallet (expensive one!) was being returned, but how is that possible when the buyer claims they didn't get the wallet. Then I get another email saying the wallet didn't match the description, it was going to hurt my seller rating and that I should be more careful! I tried to chat and email, but both functions were not working. I couldn't do anything and now wonder whats going to happen. sellers beware. Don't sell anything expensive until you feel safe on the site. I don't and once I get paid for two other items I sent (if I get paid) I will close my account unless they contact me to resolve the issue I also got a message from a buyer in Europe who bid 607 Euros on an item. I saw their bid as 500 dollars. Not sure why it was a hundred less, and then when they tried to check out, their price was 880 euros. So I lost the sale of course. They were charging over 200 for customs?

VC only cares about getting as much commission as possible. They are abusive in this respect, and in situations where they promise not to charge a commission (i.e. reselling within 72hrs of receiving an item u don't want), they come up with excuses to charge it anyway. Very unpleasent web and very poor in the way they comply with their own regulations

My daughter bought the handbag for me ( my birthday) fro the seller name Niki.The seller said the bag very good condition and when I ask her any dust bag she said yes. My daughter did pay $25 for Physical quality control and authentication. We received the bag with non brand dust bag and inside the bag has a bid scratch. My daughter send two emails but no reply and finally she did open the chat and send back the bag for another check. Today my daughter received the email said the item matches the description and the photographs from the seller.I don’t know why the person check the bag can say like this The bag came with non brand dust bag The seller posted the photos outside the bag she didn’t post any photos inside the bag .She didn’t mention anything about the scratch inside the bag. This is the first time my daughter bought from VC and she is so disappointed Ref #25746224 Oder No: 63588084

I have a very mixed experience as a buyer and as a seller. The main issue is a quality control. I recently purchased pants that passed quality control. When I received then they turned out to be too small. However I was able almost pretty much immediately to resell them. But then VC cancelled don’t sell bc the pants didn’t pass the quality control… and the pants still had the tag on them from the original quality control with they passed! So how does that work??? I also had other issues with quality control. At this point I’m too disappointed to sell or to buy anything in there.

I don’t know where to start but this would be zero if possible. Firstly I get sent a fake bag , their response, having quizzed me & obviously not wanting to admit it, was to reprimand the seller !!! Really ??? Remove her id say. She already sold 3 of the exact same bag so please check you have the real thing - she was charging in excess of £600 for a rubbish bad copy of the bottega veneta cassette bag. So….I go back on & buy an authenticated bag which EVRI have now lost. Nothing but lame replies since 08/09 but I sought advice from CAB and they 100% should refund immediately or ship an alternative if the delivery date is not met. Which is wasn’t. Stay away, it’s such agro & with very little policing of who can sell fake very expensive goods.

It’s been 50days since I ordered and no item no refund. The CS keep saying they are waiting for the carrier to answer them. It’s impossible to refund me before they get an answer from carrier. It’s more than 8000usd. What if the carrier never answers them? The CS is horrible. The chat on their platform doesn’t even answer me anymore.

Vestiaire is there to reap you off big time. I have recently sold my Cartier tank watch and Vestiaire just changed my offering price without my consent and I only found out when they sent me my amount. I have been asking for HKD8100 and they changed my offering price to HKD7055 after I sent out my watch. They refused to send me back my watch and their customer service staff just emailed me their 19 pages of terms and agreement. Their staff clearly was extremely unhelpful and tried to brush off any complaints. They also reap people off on the exchange rate. I have screenshot the conversation with the buyer and found that the exchange rate was 20% more than market rate.

What an absolute nightmare to work with Vestiare at this moment. I sold over 100 pairs of exclusive new shoes and jackets, and I never ever had a problem. But ,last week Vestiare was able to cancel 4 orders with a total worth of €3800,- this due to the incompetence from the Vestiare Employees. For the 2 Loro Piana items they made up the so called ‘quality reports’ at REF: 25220275 their issue was ‘ direct sale’ and ‘wrong material’. Both are complete incorrect, and I still don’t know why they exactly canceled it. I sent them an e-mail on 01-09-22 about this issue, and asked them kindly to call me on Monday 05-09-22. MR. LUC R replied 03-09-22 to my e-mail about this issue with the following note: We noted it, and we will let you know They never ever gave me a reaction or called me, very professional. For the other Loro Piana jacket (I will help you vestiaire, REF: 22516730) they said it was to much worn, that is a surprising fact since this jacket was always in the closet. but ok, the ‘expert’ did his job excellent and canceled my order, again perfectly worked guys! :( Regarding the Louis Vuitton and the Hermes I did not even get a report. They canceled the Louis Vuitton (REF: 25404684) due to the fact that they could not see if it was real, again chapeau!! what a knowledge they have at Vestiare, what a wonderful company to work with. That is why you pay the 15% interest, so that you send your product and they are not able to see if it is real, it sounds like a fairytale. I asked for several times for a reason why they canceled it, but they never responded to that. ( Send 3 times an e-mail, now 9 days ago) I also paid €12,- to get it shipped back, never had a conformation or tracking code, luckily the shoes are only worn €2500,- The Hermes are like the same story as above but with another reason, the reason was as following ‘Not Complaint’ so that would mean there is nothing wrong, but again they where able to cancel it. Please be advised that I sold over 20 pairs of Chypre sandals though Vestiare last 6 months, and now they cancel this item. If we take all these 4 cases we can say that Vestiare has to deal with a incompetence team without any knowledge. I asked them 48H ago for a solution or reaction, they never reacted so here you have your beloved review, I hope you can answer and compensate me now. sorry to see that you first need another 1 star review to respond. I have purchased three items from Vestiaire and all three were complete fakes. They seem to have relationships with overseas factories who produce for designers and steal their hardware. I ordered two Cult Gaia bags and both showed up to my house as plastic, not leather. I also ordered a Veronica Beard sweater that was the wrong cut, wrong color and wrong label, though correct material. It was clearly a sample that was not approved by the designer and then the factory sewed a label on it.

I am so upset! They sold me an “authentic “ that was such an obvious fake!! They said they policy is to relist it on my profile for sale instead of just refunding me? So selling a fake to someone else! I am disgusted! Please do not make the mistake I made.do not buy from here

So I sold a Burberry bag, shipped with UPS, however there seems to be an issue with the buyer's address, since I can't reach out to the buyer, I TRIED to contact Vestiaire, I tried to email however if you go on their FAQ contact site and try to get through, you can't even send them an email, I tried on several browsers, 2 different Macs, NOTHING. So I bite the bullet and go to live chat, which is usually dreadful, finally the chat works on one Mac and the quality of replies is ridiculous. I go past the bot and talk to some Franck T who's ability seems to be limited to giving auto replies and not even reading. Since UPS couldn't deliver and needs an address confirmation, I suggested that since they have the contact details (I only get the label and attach it to the parcel) of the buyer on file, they should contact the buyer regarding the requested address confirmation. After getting 5 long auto replies about a totally different issue, Franck T finally comes back and tells me "You should ask the UPS about this, which address needs to be confirmed" - seriously, there is an issue with delivery to the buyer, which address does this genius think needs to be confirmed? Obviously the delivery address. I mentioned 3 times to please let them know that there is an issue with sending them eMails via the FAQ contact me site, ignored, then he leaves chat..... The level of "customer service" is amazing basically ZERO, which also seems to be the IQ of their agents and the quality of their IT. My sister sold 2 items that went with FedEx, one arrived with a 3 week delay, the other one is out for delivery (since a 2 week delay) since the 18th, apparently on the van and out for delivery, she was fobbed off by their customer service to talk to FedEx while FedEx then comes back and says the shipper is Vestiaire, but Vestiaire doesn't do anything about it....

READ THE BAD REVIEWS ON HERE BEFORE USING THIS SITE!!!!! I have used Vestiaire as both a buyer and seller and had horrific issues as both. Last month, I bought a skirt on the app and my package was returned to the seller (even though I didn't refuse the package and all duties and taxes were paid by myself at checkout) and as their flawed system just says it's 'delivered' because the item got delivered back to the seller, Vestiaire see this as transaction completed. Despite me raising this issue within the 72 hour time frame that they advertise, over a week later and I have no conclusive or helpful response from them. The seller BLOCKED my messages after agreeing to re-send it to me once the 72 hour time frame was over and Vestiaire released the funds to them. Vestiaire just don't care or have any intent to amend the situation and refund my very expensive transaction. It's essentially theft as they are trying to brush it off seeing as they have a 'Delivered' tracking number. Their customer service is APPALLING and they won't help you if anything goes wrong. I strongly advise against buying from this site, unless you want a drawn out irritating situation where it feels like you're talking to a brick wall. This is the second time in 4 orders on the site that this has happened to me. If you do use it make sure you use Paypal like I did, so that you can claim the money back in situations such as this. Hands down the worst customer experience & service from a platform in my entire online shopping experiences. You have been warned!!! I am sure they will respond to this review with some BS defence stating that they'll email / get in touch with me to try and resolve it, but that's all smoke and mirrors for these review sites to avoid scaring away other potential users. They won't ever help you as I've had this happen prior. Any notes they respond to an honest review seeming that they are willing to help you is absolute BS and to seem as though they aren't as bad as they really are to other potential users of their site and services.
