Do NOT order from this company. They are stealing our money!! I order an iPhone and never received it, and they will not give me refund!! They say they need to do an investigation, the order I place was not a big box they sent someone else order to a different address they are saying it was my order! It was not. They treat there customers very bad by not responding and by not giving back refunds. I do not recommend this company to NO one. No refund has been giving to me and I paid over 350. dollars!

Sold me a defective MacBook Pro that won’t charge. I returned it under warranty. They had five days to repair the device or send a replacement. More than a month later, I still have no working laptop. They refuse to refund me my money. They claimed that the laptop was damaged during shipping. Made me send over photos including my IDs. I filed a complaint with the BBB. They sent me back the laptop but it still won’t turn on or charge. The laptop was also never damaged. They have been lying and stone walling me for the longest.

SCAM ALERT: _ Purchased a Dell laptop from the Sydney outlet and was issued with a faulty power cord which means the thing is completely USELESS to me. There is no way to contact customer service and no record of the purchase is linked to my account to request support. Emailed upon receiving the laptop about the issue and they never responded.

I originally opted to go for a good condition phone (Galaxy S21+) and decided to return my old tech(Also Galaxy S21+) to the them also upon receiving my phone from them the speaker didn't work that great and when I made phone calls people couldn't hear me so I decided to return the phone the problem I ran into was how do I return the both phones and keep my data in tact so what do I do I decide to buy another phone from them so i could transferall my data on to the new deviceso i could just send them back the original phone and my oldtech in one swing (terrible mistake) I opted to buy the excellent condition (Galaxy S21+) phone this time so there wouldn't be any issues at all with phone so i just sent back my old tech and the original purchase (good condition phone(Both Galaxy S21+)) and now they say they'll honor what we agreed upon for the price of my old tech (imagine that!) but completely dodge the fact they received two phones so I can not get a refund on the phone I originally purchased(Galaxy S21+) waste of money right well here's the big kicker the excellent condition phone they sent me the screen went dark after 3 days of using it I took it to a local fruit fixed near me and they have quoted me 200$ to fix the screen mind you between this whole process I just shelled out around 500 so to sum it all up I bought two phones had one stolen from me and don't have a working phone right now and I have to buy another phone again I would not buy from this company ever I would never recommend for anyone to buy from them they do not contact you directly it's all automated there is no customer support # to call STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

Back market sold us a phone guaranteeing that it would be unlocked and ready to use. When we received the phone it was NOT unlocked and actually had an outstanding bill connected to the phone that we was going to have to pay to even try to get it unlocked. Completely a waste of time, I would not recommend buying anything through back market because obviously you have no idea what you're getting until it's to late.

I usually don't write comments, I just read some few reviews and go my way, but it will be a heartless act seeing people talk about their ugly experience about scam brokers and not share my experience how ( jamesRodriguez)(@)(Cyber-wizard) DT( com) got my funds back

Absolute con artists who have stolen my teenage daughter's hard earned money leaving her over £400 out of pocket and disillusioned at a young age. Said they would refund, but nothing despite many many calls and messages.

“All I can say to justify this is that it's wickedness; how else could you knowingly deceive me and steal my money under the pretence of a fair trade or investment, taking everything I owned for nothing? Alexvictimhelp @ email .com who returned my money to me and made me happy again.

I bought a MacBook Pro 15" laptop. The shipping was fast and the item looked good. Even for being rated as fair. Excited to get my work assignment back on track, I plug it in and start setup. 30 MINUTES later for a simple what 6 screens of setup!?!? I was finally able to get in the computer to an actual page. The thing ran like it was only 4 gigs of RAM instead of 16. My old 486DX from the 90s ran faster than this thing. They suggested updating it. I did...well I tried. Took it an hour to download the update. My internet connection runs at 2 gigs. So you do the math...thought I was on dialup...when it finally starts to load I leave it for 2 hours and come back to find it stalled with an apple on the screen. Nonresponsive all together and hot. Way to hot to have on my lap! So I contact Back Market and get a rep in a chat. Enjoy the initial chat session BTW because it's the only one you will have live!!! They also have no phone number anywhere to speak with a live agent. Once the 1st chat ends it is a waiting game for up to a day per response! Oh did I mention you don't get to be in contact with the seller AT ALL?!?! I explained i just wanted to purchase something with more RAM and see if that works. We set up the return and the agent had told me they would put a promotional credit on my account. Nope turned out to be a 5% coupon. Big whoop. Oh almost forgot that I searched the seller and found them on Ebay. As I was looking through their inventory I found the one I was looking at buying on BM only it was almost 100.00 less on ebay!! So BM must have high fees to the sellers. I asked if they could ask the seller if I could get a store credit since my payment method won't accept refunds and no answer. I was however told I couldn't pay the difference and get the better machine shipped out. I had to go through the refund process which is hard when you can't refund my payment method due to the cards rules. So basically I am screwed!!!! This site is a joke. Go to EBAY and find the same items for way less with the ability to contact the seller directly and ebay has phone support. You will be much happier and your pockets will stay a little heavier. I won't ever get taken by this BS BM site again!!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! They lure you in with a high valuation for trading in your devices. The likelihood of you getting your device downgraded so they can lowball you is guaranteed. They will possibly even damage the device itself and use that as their proof to keep their offer low. Even with proof, Backmarket reps don't do jack. Had this happen to me with my wife's phone just now. iPhone 14 in flawless condition with zero scratches/blemishes of any kind anywhere on the phone. Have extensive photographic and videos to prove it on the day I sent the device in. The Backmarket valuation was £370 for the iPhone where as most others were lower. The phone went to a refurbisher up in Wolverhampton, once they received it they immediately said it had multiple scratches on the screen and the condition was 'used' and offered £268. The pictures they sent back were either another iPhone14 they have or they made the scratches. My guess is they just took pictures of another device and said that was the one I sent. I asked Backmarket to interject and sent them the all the videos and pics I had which were plenty. Videos with a torch light shining on the iPhone screen to show it was in perfect condition, photos from all angles. More video footage and even photos of it with extra bubble wrap and sealed. They also asked the refurbisher for more pics which they then provided an image with a magical 3rd scratch that appeared. Backmarket then just said to either accept or reject the offer. So were of absolutely no help and makes the point of taking any photos/videos as proof of condition before sending utterly pointless. I since received the device back with the scratches and had to accept a £275 valuation from Mazuma Mobile instead. So BackMarket and their fraudulent associates cost me money! When you make the trade-in offer on the BackMarket site it will actually show you the Refurbisher that is selected before you send the device in. Go online and search and you will then see how many bad reviews they have. I am guessing the same 1-2 star reviews will apply no matter the refurbisher. My advice would just be to use a more reputable and trusted company. Music Magpie for example.

Keep well clear of BM unless you can afford to feel lucky. Shortly before going abroad I bought an iphone 13 pro and face id did not work. On my return I took it to an Apple store who said the batteries were useless and I had them replaced as an easy option. Apple commented that the internals had third party parts. The phone has now developed bright lines on the display which I suspect is unrepairable. Customer service doesn't exist in the normal meaning of the term and reading the above reviews confirms that it is a waste of time trying to access it. BM is a neat way of encouraging dodgy business to offload damaged phones at fancy prices while dodging the consequences. It is as close to fraud as you can get without actually breaking the law. Avoid, Avoid!

I have ordered an iPhone 14 pro max for my son and within 14 days the screen went black and it wount turn on. I returned and now it's been two weeks all they do is send me a request to upload my driving licence which I have done and then they asked me for passport which I did and then it went all quite. Any message I send there is no response .

I purchased an IphoneX after my phone began not charging. Phone arrived with a pink line down the screen. It took them 9 days to answer, then they accused me of dropping the phone. The phone was never dropped. Then they offered me money to buy it back- considerably less than I paid for it. What a scam! Currently in a paypal dispute with the company. I've bought phones refurbed before and never went through anything like this. Avoid these people like the plague

So much about environmental friendly, this scam is really bad. A refurbished Iphone 13mini bought in 08 2013, just delaminated the screen from the phone. I am sure it was a not compilable to Apple requirements, and therefor I have been tricked into a scam. Fortunately for Back Market, it happened just a month after the legal guarantee, I could apply for a repair service (paid) for a total ruined phone. Just stay away from this company, it is fraud!
