Bought a TV with a 5 year warranty - TV developed a fault a few years in called to book it in - Replied to say you don't have a warranty, after countless calls and emails Currys apologised and agreed I do have warranty. Finally TV gets picked up for repair- came back with a white line at the bottom- Asked to collect again to repair properly. They returned the TV completely smashed and unusable - after 30-40 calls to the team in South Africa, speaking with approx 10 managers - no calls back - no emails. Now said sorry we're not repairing or replacing and blaming me for the extensive damage even though I have a docket from collection with the words 'no damage found' Now said you will have to go through third party appeals and they won't do anything. DO NOT BUY A TV FROM CURRYS.

After reading the previous reviews seems as tho I have also been scammed by currys.payed an arm and leg for a brand new washing machine, lads that installed it cracked it and flooded my kitchen pulling the waste pipe out .I had to text the driver to come back n fix it which iv all proof. Straight away I noticed the machine on a spin was coming across the floor , sounded like a jumbo jet the noisest machine iv ever heard in my life.gets worse with every wash.i emailed and there response was there IS a fault and contact customer service..I did , they booked me in for a repair...nobody showed on the day of the booked repair but I checked the status online and they had it down as completed. Rang again , same women. Ignorant as hell. Said no your not getting a repair not booking ring the make n model of ur machine n pay for it , I nearly passed out! ..so contacted currys through Facebook they said contacted me again through email , made a second level complaint and I asked for a copy of that complaint and they will absolutely not contact me back what so ever! People please so not purchase off this company! Scammers !...absolute dirty bags.. go anywhere else do not waste ur money with them

I ordered a washing machine and paid extra for delivery and installation. The technician who installed the machine was very pleasant which is more than can be said about his colleague who was rude and left packaging debris in the entrance hall. The technician assured me that there were no leaks and the machine was good to go. He gave me a very quick demo which left me to work out for myself how machine operated. I soon discovered that the technician had left a pipe loose under the sink causing a bad leak. I had to tighten this. The 1st time I used the machine it was vibrating and wobbling all over the place. I realised that it had not been stabilised during installation. I had to manually pull the machine out of situ an lift it up to adjust the legs. I have tried everything to contact Currys to complain. The phone number they give is not appropriate to make a complaint as it is all automated. The webchat is also useless as the advisors can only deal with general enquiries. However I was assured that my complaint had been recorded and would be resolved within 48 hours. Nothing has happened. Currys have not responded at all. I am absolutely disgusted with this very poor level of customer care.

Staff have no interest in job. I was trying to buy microwave 900 with stainless steel interior. Also a George Forman Grill . Person at counter told me he was doing bookwork and didn't refer me to anyone. I found assistant on floor but he showed no interest, 2nd did show what was in shop but no_ one checked the Internet to order some items that are there. There appears to be no management there and the staff cannot be well paid or there would be some interest. No commission being paid obviously I used to buy most electrical goods there but I had to go to DID Navan to buy microwave and George Foreman grill. Hope you can do something about Navan branch as it looks like it might be closing down if management don't change things soon.

The service at the Norwich branch of Curry’s was disgraceful. We asked a group of three assistants who were chatting together for help with buying a vacuum cleaner. They all walked away and one said they would be back to help but never appeared. As we left the building fed up with waiting we saw two of these assistant smoking and chatting with colleagues. Consequently Curry’s lost our business now and in the future. I definitely would not recommend Curry’s to anyone.

Delivered a washing machine with multiple points of damage to it. It has taken them 2wks of web chat and emails to offer a paltry 15% off, no urgency, no consideration for the hassle, disruption, cost or depreciated value of the product. Just copy paste "customer service." Avoid this company and use your local independent suppliers.

Worst electrical business I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They delivered a damaged tumble dryer, a cosmetic issue nothing too serious, but I wanted a perfect machine like what I have paid for. I rang customer service (who were less than useless) explained what the issue was and asked for it to be replaced. They told me that I needed to contact the manufacturer! How is it possibly Candy’s fault that Curry’s couldn’t deliver what I had paid for. I will certainly be taking this further. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again and advise everyone to stay clear. Zero star rating.

Bought a fridge freezer at Plymouth's branch. Delivery for Saturday. Saturday came. No delivery. We looked into it. One digit of our phone number was inputted wrongly by the staff member at Currys so we didn't get any notifications on our time slot. Nothing through email. Found out they got to our address and took a photo of our front door with an attempted delivery. We were both in the front room during their "attempted delivery". No one knocked. It's quite obvious the drivers didn't want to bother delivering white goods on a Saturday to get home early. They just took a photo of our front door. Might as well work for Hermes if that's their work ethic. We rang customer service. They couldn't deliver at all on the same day even though it was only a couple of hours later when we realised they "attempted". Asked for a delivery refund. Can't be given until the unit is delivered... Asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. They will call you back 24 to 48 hours later... A new delivery slot available 3 days later. We're at work. Ultimately asked for a refund and they can't do that on the phone. So we'll be going back into the store to cancel our order. Absolutely shocking service. Or lack of.

We have been waiting for FIVE hours for the delivery of a new washing machine which we have paid for in full. My husband used the tracking to check on when our delivery would occur but got the same answer each time. He phoned them 15 minutes ago and I heard a lady asking all possible details and then she just listened to our complaints saying it will be delivered. No sign of a delivery driver. Easy to reach us from the main road.

A male on the phone became extremely annoying and unhelpful. I asked him if he could inform the Weybridge Byfleet Currys Shop that the 2 Disabled Parking Bays have always been occupied by drivers who don't display their Badge. My opinion is that if they don't display your badge they should receive a parking fine. AMEN!

I bought a laptop from your store I realised when I got home that i couldn’t use it as no router or land line so after five days took it back to the store and asked for a refund but because I’d undone the outside seal I hadn’t even taken it out the box they said i couldn’t return it. I found them very unhelpful and chap I spoke to was almost smug I’d made a mistake I now have a £400 laptop I can’t use. Thanks curry’s I’ve told everyone I know and there certainly not going to use them either!

Good Afternoon, I would like to let you know about the appalling service I have just received from your Eastbourne branch, I normally use your Brighton branch but due to gay pride being on and roads closed I was unable to get there. I was looking to purchase a new smart television so my wife and I went to your Eastbourne branch to have a look. We found the television we liked and scanned the code that was shown on the television screen for more information. . The link on our phone showed us what we needed to know and the price was £329 for a 55” Hisense TV, we decided this would be perfect for what we were looking for. I called someone over to help and find out if it was in stock and luck would have it was. He then told me it was £399, I then scanned the link again in front of the assistant and showed him the price and he told me that was for a different TV!!!!!! Not sure how as I had just scanned the link from the TV on display. He then told me it was an error. I am a group manager for a large main dealer garage so I know a little bit about consumer law. I did mention that I would like to purchase it for the £329 that it was advertised for. He went off to get the manager Simon who proceeded to tell me that he was not willing to sell it to me for your advertised price as it’s not the correct TV. I then asked him if he was refusing to sell it to me for the advertised price and he refused and told me he would remove it from the shelf and then I wouldn’t be able to buy it. If one of my managers spoke to any of our customers like that, they wouldn’t be a manager at my company for very long. I look forward to your feedback on this situation. Kind regards Paul Haworth

Care and Repair scheme is a scam, took my three month old printer to be repaired and they never sent it back, never sent me a voucher, I've had to complain to the CEO to even get a response. I explicitly said that I just wanted a refund at this point as I'd had to buy a new printer, and they finally (two weeks later) sent me a voucher without responding to any Comms except my email to the CEO to ask for my info. They are legally required to refund if asked due to the faulty products but are ignoring this. Genuinely shocking company I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy

Bought a new 75” TV and it had a fault. Curry’s collected it and advised it would be returned within a week, 3 weeks later still no TV. Advised I have no rights until after 6 weeks, then I can request a cancellation. Read other reviews before buying anything from curry’s, I will never use them again Date of experience: 02 July 2024

I would give Curry's a 1 out of 10 We ordered the following items, Built in single oven, hob, washing machine, integrated dishwasher and American fridge freezer to be delivered and installed on the 04/06/24. On arrival the Curry's service men could ONLY install the washing machine and fridge freezer as they were not qualified to install electrics. A second date was arranged for the 11/06/24 to install the oven. Hob and dishwasher but again the men were only qualified to install the dishwasher so that afternoon noon another service man came out and installed the oven but when he went to install the hob he discovered it was too small by 1 cm, so I had to return the hob and have it replaced and it was installed on the 18/06/24. Because these unqualified personnel were sent out this meant I had to take 3 separate days off work instead of just one. I think Curry's management should ensure that the proper qualified personnel are sent out in the first place. Wrote to them and got the standard reply apologising for the delay and for any negative impression that has been created. But not an apology for the inconvenience and bad service. Would not recommend their installation services.
