“Tv was ordered and when we went to collect it it was not handed out on a Sunday We rang in shortly after and were told on line orders were not processed over the weekend. This was despite having an email confirming it was in stock. Staff seemed v uninterested in trying to help”

Hi Kathleen, we're very sorry to hear you had a bad experience! While it is correct that new online orders are not processed on Sundays (But we're looking to change this) I can see yours was processed before 3pm on Saturday and was ready to collect from then. This should have been put aside for you in Kilkenny from then and would have been available on Sunday. Can you confirm that you have now collected your TV from the store? “I did not receive my order. I think my package is missing and I can’t track it. I sent an email to ElectroCity asking about this issue and received no reply.”

“I paid for my fridge to be installed and a man came to deliver it and said someone else would install it. Still waiting”

“Caulfield Transport (who electro city use as delivery partner) were unreliable with delivery. After phoning their office to confirm a day , the told me the item would be delivered on the wrong day. Once I rang again to confirm a new day, the gave me the wrong time . Incompetence at its finest”

“While customer service is excellent . Some appliances are sourced from an external supplier . I waited 1 week for phone while website states next day delivery for small appliances. Issues with courier and external supplier caused this but was frustrating experience in general.”

“Still have not received my order that dispatched on 31/1/23 when your site says 1-2 business days and it’s now the 9/2/23. When I emailed for an update I was told it was coming direct from the supplier but no actual update???”

“Machine only worked twice and won’t start now, still waiting on someone to get back to me. Faulty machine should be replaced straight away without question! Not a happy customer”

“I ordered a Smart watch on Monday 5th, I received an email to say ready for collection the next day. I went to collect in the Waterford store and I was told it is out of stock and there was one in Carlow and for the inconvenience, they would get it delivered to my home the next day. I had to ring and follow up as I didnt hear anything. I was told we will get one couriered from Kilkenny and after multiple phone calls I still have no watch and no update and it is the 15th now,”

“I was td delivery was two days. I waited in all day. I telephoned next day and was toy it would be 6 or 7 days. I had to cancel as it was for a birthday present. I had to buy from another company.”

“I placed an order online and selected to collect in Carlow. I received an email stating I could collect last week. When I went significantly out of my way last Friday to collect my item, I was informed that it was not there and an error on the system must have been made. I was given the option by a staff gentleman to collect in Kilkenny or have it delivered. I chose delivered to my home address as it would have been very inconvenient to travel further particularly after one wasted journey. I was informed this delivery would be Tuesday. It has not yet arrived nor have I received any notification concerning it. I will say that the staff member I dealt with was very nice and I've always had a very pleasant experience dealing in electro city prior to this.”

“Bought a slow cooker and received a broken one. Returned it as directed and had to chase up for refund. Not impressed at all. Then I received a request on the product to review it! The item I received broken and didn’t replace. The mind boggles.”
