I ordered an item for collection in Kilkenny; advised it was ready for collection; I drove in especially to collect it only to find out it was in the Carlow store. Much was made of the fact that they would post it out to me yet no apology- not in the store or when I rang them in Carlow. Won’t be ordering online again

I was really disappointed with my experience with Electricity. I ordered with yourselves in order to try support local when getting a new printer. There was some sort of delay that was not communicated to me. After multiple phone calls I was assured it would be in the following week. This turned into months. When I did finally get the printer there was no apology or compensation for the hassle.

Bought a Fitbit versa 2 pink last year, it arrived with a damaged box the watch was loose in the box and powered on, every device in the house detected a Fitbit versa 2 that needs to be set up so the element of surprise for the birthday gift was gone. Emailed a complaint email was responded to that day to replace the watch. Waited a week no replacement watch or slip arrived no follow up email. Emailed again. They phoned me and told me they only have the grey model left even though the website showed the pink model was still in stock, I was left with no choice to keep the item which looked used as her birthday was too close. Emails were never responded to after that.

I don't remember buying anything off them recently. Not sure why they are fishing for feedback. I did buy a TV in 2018, and it was a terrible waste of money. Nothing but problems. I contacted their support via a webform on the electrocity website, and by email, at least 5 times, while the TV I bought was still under warranty. I don't think I ever received a reply. Yet, they were back to me in 5 minutes after I left a review saying I didn't buy anything off them recently. I've no idea why they are emailing me looking for feedback 3 years later. They really are useless, and I've revised my feedback down from 3 stars to 1 to match what I think of their service. The support is terrible. No, I definitely wouldn't recommend buying anything from them.

They employed a marketing company to get positive customer reviews and I was promised a 10% discount but was never given it. Followed up with marketing co. but no response

Click and collect is very slow was not available in store had to get one that was cheaper than what I ordered on line and still d did not get balance back that I was owed

Remote stopped working on my new Samsung TV. Contacted electrocity to get replaced under warranty but they refused. Contacted Samsung directly and they are replacing the remote control under warranty. Very poor after sales service.

Hi Morgan, we do apologise for this process. Unfortunately, it is Samsung policy to not issue accessory replacements directly to stores, only to the customer.

I ordered a printer. Received it and then got sent another one! I did call as I'm an honest person. I was told was would be sent a tag to repost but never received it. Still have the printer in my home.. contact me on 0851950650

I ordered a tv and wall mount online and collected in Electro City Carlow. The wall mount I received was not the wall mount (Full Motion TV Mount | 22 Inches to 43 Inches SKU: TVMOUNT.22-43) I ordered. The wall mount I received was €5.00 cheaper in store than online and I waited to see if the store assistant would acknowledge this and offer me my overpayment. Unfortunately this didn’t happen. I did see the store assistant bring this matter to the attention of another employee, but they obviously decided to pass off the cheaper product. The €5 is not the issue here. The issue, I believe is the fact that the store assistant not only recognised the error but instead of bringing this to my attention, actually tried to hide the discrepancy. I’m sorry to say that ElectroCity will not be my first choice electricial retailer in the future.

Terrible customer service in carlow store needed id to pick up a item even though I had the order number, the email, the card used to pay and could say my address (which is Irish spelt). Staff member serving looked as if I had 10 heads and another staff member stood near watching and listening as if they did not have a job to do. Would not go there again with the hardship of trying to get paid item. Click and collect in other stores much better service and do not need all that information to collect a item. As if someone else had my order number address credit card detail card with my name on it to try steal a deep fat fryer made no sense why so much information was needed very excessive.
