I was a MyBodyTutor client for about a year and recommend it to anyone willing to look inward and do the work. I have always tried to make health a top priority through personal trainers, nutritionists through my gym, and reading books. In each case I went after drastic change all at once over a few weeks time, and it never lasted. The missing ingredient was the true habit change and mindset that MyBodyTutor creates through regular coaching, accountability, and the flexibility to make mistakes, learn from them, and bounce back every day. I trusted in my coach for support and honest feedback. I used to feel guilty for taking time each day - especially work days - to exercise or to pause and have a healthy, satisfying lunch; now it is part of my identity. While I have lost weight, the more important transformation is that the habits are part of who I am now. MyBodyTutor truly has changed my life.

I wasn't sure what to expect with My Body Tutor as the program isn't really outlined with specifics like others are. Once I started I realized why that is. The program is custom tailored to each individual to meet them where they are AND encourage them to do a little better. Over time those small steps in progress add up and before I knew it my mindset had shifted, my relationship with food had changed and I felt more in control. Adam does a great job pairing you with a coach. I knew I needed another mom who just got it when it came to challenges that are inevitable with raising a family and trying to focus on yourself. I was paired with Tiffany and she was equally wonderful in providing knowledge and encouragement. She was able to make the adjustments to my plan at the right times for me. I am really happy with my time at My Body Tutor and appreciate the fact based approach combined with encouragement and accountability.

Despite knowing how to eat healthy, I found myself making excuses, and I knew I needed some daily accountability. When I found MyBodyTutor, my goal was to lose 15 pounds of stubborn weight. Honestly, I was scared nothing would change, but I went from 156 to 139 pounds - and I'm still losing! My tutor was amazing and taught me how to eat intuitively. After a few months, I feel like I own this way of eating. It's like second nature now.

So, I tried Weight Watchers and keto, but losing the weight was a real struggle. I just couldn't stay consistent and had these unrealistic expectations about how fast or how much weight I'd lose. Then I found MyBodyTutor. I hoped that this would help me lose 15 pounds in a way that I could actually maintain. And you know what? Since joining, I've actually lost those 15 pounds! The biggest thing I learned was to pay attention to when I'm full and why I am eating. I can still eat the foods I love, but I've got to plan for it and stop before I overdo it. The real game changer with MyBodyTutor was the one-on-one accountability. Sometimes I resisted being pushed to change, but it was exactly what I needed to stay on track.

MyBodyTutor delivered on its promise, it helped me change my eating habits for the better and made me rethink how I approach and think about food. My coach, Kristen, was an incredible guide. She was patient, kind and very knowledgeable, there never was a question she could not answer. Overall, my experience with MyBodyTutor was a game changer!

She is a great support and goes the extra mile to do research and to educate me with potential solutions for my specific challenges. I also love all of the resources MyBodyTutor provides. From the moment I read Adam’s first email, I thought he was onto something, it’s like he was speaking directly to me! In this program, I’ve really uncovered some of my ugly truths. It's never about the food and it’s all about embracing the discomfort, that is so important! I still have a lot of work ahead of me. While I still reach for that candy bar or ice cream sometimes I've learned a lot from MyBodyTutor. I really needed this kickstart. Kelly has been a great tutor. She is very knowledgeable and supportive. I highly recommend MyBodyTutor!

I was really unhappy with the way my body looked, but I was even more unhappy with how and why I gained the weight. Mindless and emotional eating had packed on 20 lbs in six months. I felt ashamed and powerless to stop it. I had tried Noom twice and periods of just logging my food in My Fitness Pal. I found Noom to be overwhelming. Every day, they share new insights and tips, but there was never any time or support for integrating or applying what you learned. Logging my food helped create awareness, but without any guidance as to what I should be eating, it felt tedious. I sought out MyBodyTutor because I wanted to lose weight, of course. But I also wanted to change the way I thought about food and eating. And I hoped that this program would include the personal support and accountability that everything else had been missing. With MyBodyTutor, I lost all the weight I'd gained, and then some, and I've kept it off for six months. I love the way I look in my clothes! I got rid of all my up-sized clothes and am back into the clothes I used to wear! I am now aware of my food choices and how they make me feel. I am aware of how much I'm moving and how much energy I'm generating and expending. I realize how holistic self-care is key to maintaining my weight. I started meditating and journaling regularly, which means I'm more aware of my emotions and choices. No more mindless and emotional eating. What's different about this program is that MyBodyTutor is actual coaching with an actual human, who tailors their feedback to you. It's not a bot or a course or just an app. My advice is to think of this as an investment in yourself. It's not a quick fix. You can crash diet or log your way to weight loss, but that probably won't be as sustainable and life-changing as going slow, digging deep, and focusing on your overall health and well-being.

Like most other people, I had tried dieting with little success. I had even taken college-level nutrition courses, so I knew quite a bit about nutrition, but I always felt like other things in life were more important, so I never really gave it the full emphasis it deserved. I think deep down that I didn't believe I could change the way I looked, and after a serious health complication and a subsequent pregnancy, I realized I was seriously overweight and needed to take losing the weight seriously. I realized that with everything else I had going on (starting a new business, dealing with a new baby), I wouldn't make time for losing the weight if I just did it by myself. When I found MyBodyTutor online, I signed up the same day. I was more interested in fixing the core issues of why I was overweight than just trying to look good. I didn't realize how much of my eating habits had become emotional and were really stress relief mechanisms. But that doesn't mean I didn't have my fears before starting. I just didn't believe I could look different. In the feeble attempts I had made in the past to lose some weight, I never saw more than 10 lbs of water weight progress. It wasn't until I had become seriously overweight that I realized I needed help. I was one of those people who would think that I don't have time to fix my health or that I had more important things to get done so didn't want to give it the time it deserved to figure out what I had been doing wrong. Now I'm very happily at my college weight. I can't believe how well the program worked, and, as a cherry on top, I'm starting to get into bodybuilding. My energy levels are so much better, I feel self-confident when closing big deals for my business, and overall, I've lost about 70 lbs from my heaviest weight, 50 lbs of which were directly from MyBodyTutor's support. It's been a very chaotic 2 years for me personally, so to have lost the weight in the first year and maintained it for another without calorie counting has been fantastic. What makes this program different is that they address the core problem, which is psychological. I think most other programs don't address the core issues, which are usually emotional eating. I'm a very unemotional person, and had NO CLUE that my problem was actually emotional eating for stress relief. For anyone thinking about joining, I'd suggest that if you are able to make small, consistent, sustainable changes in a way that gets you into a feedback loop of improvement, you will succeed. If you start your MyBodyTutor journey and commit to just making small improvements sustained over time, you will achieve whatever you set out to. Don't have a goal of I want to lose X by X. Just let yourself go through the process. It's about the long game. You will find that the excess weight is really just a symptom of problems lingering in other parts of your life. I didn't realize that my weight was really only a symptom of problems needing deeper healing. When that healing happened, the weight was gone. You will heal yourself with this program. You will lose a lot more than just the weight.

MyBodyTutor provided me with a coach who really held me accountable to my weight loss goals. Amy was always accessible via text when I needed her and would schedule an impromptu call when I needed support. Adam offered advice via email, videos, and at the bottom of the daily report feedback. With the help and support of this program I lost 20lbs which I know I would not have done alone.

MyBodyTutor has helped me totally reestablish my relationship with my food and my body and even my mindset. The accountability of having a tutor respond to you everyday really helps you make progress toward your goals and quickly. They are also realistic to the real world. It's not just chicken breast and broccoli. I learned how to enjoy indulgent foods in small amounts, I never had to give them up. I could have that ice cream, but I learned to make it special and not mindless. My new relationship with food and what it meant to eat when hungry and stop when satisfied (not full) lead me to lose almost 20 pounds before adding any exercise. I didn’t have energy to exercise before but when I lost that weight, I found that I craved movement and lost 10 more pounds. Even after I mostly had the basics down, my tutor helped me navigate my food and mental triggers that could derail my progress. The app for logging is so easy too, just snap a picture of your meal. You don't have to calorie count. With MyBodyTutor you are learning the sustainable long game specific for you and it will work if you do.

First, let me say that I’ve always known that one can’t exercise their way out of a poor diet. I’ve tried all sorts of exercise machines, videos, gyms, etc, literally spending tens of thousands of dollars over many decades. Unbeknownst to me back then, what I was missing—or lacking—until I found MyBodyTutor was accountability outside of myself. It was painfully obvious to me that, as much as I thought or wanted to be the Lone Ranger, it wasn’t working. There’s a saying, and it goes something like this, IF you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got, oh so true… I retired at 57 in 2011, and was somewhere around 205 lbs at a tad under 6’ tall, with a BMI in the very obese range, no energy either. As with most guys, much of my weight was in my midsection, which I knew was a very bad thing. Fast forward 8 years to 65, and along came hypertension, and having to take BP meds. By early 2022, I had got my weight down to the low to mid 180’s through exercise only, so I was 20+ pounds lighter but still had the same huge midsection. My struggle by then was 100% food-related, or should I say I was a big time junk food junkie, BUT then I found MyBodyTutor… I was hoping to lose around 20 pounds and, more importantly, 3-6" off my midsection. By then I was just a little over 181 pounds, so I was shooting for 160 lbs give or take. As usual for me anyway, the big "IF" factor was: can I lose the inches off my stomach, which is more tied to diet AND exercise? I had doubts about whether I could stick with any program long enough to get the results I was hoping for. So, I called MyBodyTutor, hoping to get/find someone to talk to about the program, figuring I’d likely be talking to a customer service rep, etc. I was surprised that the person answering my phone call was none other than the founder of MyBodyTutor, Adam. After a fairly lengthy and informative conversation with him, I felt that I had found the one program out there that was suited for me. We both agreed that no one can or will stick with any program that’ll require one to eat foods that they flat out don’t like. He convinced me that I would indeed be able to eat all my favorite foods with a few tweaks here and there, and the rest is history… I graduated from MyBodyTutor after 11 months, and my hopes were not only met but exceeded well beyond my personally stated goals. Lost a bunch of weight and inches from everywhere. I still eat those foods "I LIKE," but in moderation, and I typically exercise in some form or fashion 5-6 days a week. Thanks to my Tutor/Coach, she worked tirelessly over those 11 months to make sure I had all the necessary tools to fly solo, as we both called it. I eat much better, exercise regularly, and I know that I’ll never be that totally out of shape person ever again, because and thanks to her. I started at 181+ pounds, eventually got down to 149+ pounds, but that’s too low, so as of 3/4/2023, I’m at 152+ pounds. I discovered the low 150’s work best for me. BUT my biggest success, I feel, is that after 3+ years, I’m no longer having to take any BP meds, and that’s really a great feeling/achievement in my book. Again, for me, the ONLY program that either could or would work was to be allowed to eat those few foods I really like, which I did. Also, I had the most fantastic, caring, hard-working, knowledgeable Tutor/Coach, who was so supportive. It’s rare if you can find someone who truly cares about you, the client, your goals, and your success. So, the BIG difference for me was continuing to eat the foods that "I like", and having such a wonderful coach helping me to help myself… If one is on the fence about whether this program will work for you - it will if you’re willing to put in the work, listen to your coach, and stick with it. I call it the snowball effect, the more weight and inches one loses the more it makes you want to keep on keeping on, if you will. As far as the cost, once you find success, as you will, you’ll find, as I did, that it was the best investment you'll ever make. Give it a try, and you’ll thank yourself, your coach, and MyBodyTutor for giving you your life back… I’ve referred to it as the old and new me, AND the new me will never see the old me again because I just won’t let it happen. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.

Working with My Body Tutor has been a great experience! With the help of my smart, kind and compassionate MBT tutor, Lenora, I was able to completely refashion my daily intake of food in terms of calories, but most especially regarding the type and quality of food I eat. MBT has set me up with good eating patterns that will be with me for the rest of my life, so thank you very much, MyBodyTutor, for your expertise and your support!! (I'm more than half way to my goal of losing 12 lbs. 😀)

I’ve struggled with my weight for 40+ years. MyBodyTutor is the first program that saw me for who I am, my lifestyle and my habits and gave me a toolkit to help me rewrite my eating operating system to lose weight. It really is the last program you’ll ever need.

I was looking for a way to have more accountability with my food intake and found so much more with MyBodyTutor. I knew that I needed a more frequent, personal touch than other programs offer. I benefited tremendously from daily personalized feedback and weekly calls with my coach. I have lost weight many times before, but this is the first time I feel like I did it the “right” way, by caring for my body well and implementing daily habits that make me feel best, physically and mentally. My coach was knowledgeable, highly responsive, invested in maximizing my personal well-being, and always struck the right balance between nudging me toward change and consistency in a very compassionate way. This is also the first time I have confidence that I will be able to maintain the changes made without regaining the weight lost (and then some). This is because I have gained both a better scientific understanding of all of the key components of weight and health, as well as the key elements of my personal well-being. MyBodyTutor is life changing, the best program on the market, and I highly recommend it!

I thought that I was doing everything right, but I had accumulated belly fat and I had a chocolate habit that was out of control. With MyBodyTutor, not only did daily accountability work, but I learned quite a few things! Lenora, my fantastic MyBodyTutor coach, got to know me and my routines. I upleveled eating and exercise in ways that were customized for me. Lenora's suggestions about foods to include or skip, what to do when having a craving, how to pay attention to fullness, and many others, were keys to my success. I lost 8 pounds of fat, gained muscle, changed the way I view food and eating, and added weight and high intensity interval training to my workouts.
