I like the simple design of their watches. I have a black automatic zeitmesser. Bought for my 40th birthday and I am now 46. I still have the watch and wear it daily. Yes, I have now bought my third leather belt in 5 years, but the quality is excellent.

Company is communicative and lets you know where you are in the order and shipping process. Quick and appropriate shipping; I knew where and when the watch was the entire transit from Germany to USA.

Very happy with the watch. Not so happy with the cross-sell in the ordering process (first trying to sell an extra strap, then after the sale offering the same strap with a discount). Also, very mixed communication in German and English. Would be great if you can change everything to English for non German customers.

The team took 4 days to reply a question about the strap. I asked if I could change my strap before acquiring a new watch. As I had no reply, I ordered the watch and I had to buy a strap from a 3rd-party brand in Amazon. Not using the original Sternglas strap, even if looks expensive, I feel helpless and disappointed.

Great customer service, especially when it came to shipping from Germany to Australia. I was wearing my Tachymeter black five days after placing the order, and that included a public holiday.

Beautiful watch and éxcellent customer service! Wristband was unfortunately damaged two months after buying the watch and I was immediately helped out, without any discussion. Loved it. Almost as much as I love my Sternglas Hamburg.

Just received the delivery of a Hamburg Argo limited edition today which was a clearly used product. Customer service was trying to convince me it is normal for a new watch to have the foil detached/ reattached poorly, scratches on the strap and signs of wear. This is what everyone should expect in a new watch, right? Why not simply accept that you have sold a returned/refurnished product instead of a new one? The Hamburg Argos model is a 1499 limited edition which apparently you cannot order it via the main website anymore. I happened to order via a direct link I had saved in my browser and was showing under 1% available, so probably they're currently just selling the returned items on this model now advertised as "new". Having said that, I was willing to buy the Naos model instead (not willing to risk another refurbished on the Argos) and only get a partial refund, however customer service wouldn't give a toss offering any solution. Good luck with such an attitude Sternglas. In the cut-throat watch industry you won't get too far. And you really shouldn't.

Moin A, First of all, we would like to apologize again. It shouldn't happen that the watch arrives in such a condition! As we have informed you, we do not send used watches, but these things can happen due to the manual attachment of the bracelet. However, this does not change the fact that this should not happen and was a mistake on our part! :( Unfortunately, our colleague unintentionally did not respond to your request for a discount for the Noas - very unfortunate! This was a human error for which we take responsibility! We understand your frustration and wish it had gone differently! What a great company. Not only are their timepieces gorgeous to look at, but the fact you get engravings, stylish straps, clean and clear Bauhaus style, and sapphire crystal to boot. Purchasing from California was easy, with shipping in less than a week. Customer service was great and even post-credited me a discount that I forgot to apply. Highly recommend!

Beautiful watches. Very prompt service. Still trying to find out where exactly the two anti-reflective coatings on the crystal are on these watchs... front and back or both (as a review stated) on the back. Have ordered three quartz models without second-hands.
