It's a scam. Don't use this service. It seems like a good idea because it's a little bit cheaper but it's not worth it. If you have to cancel, you'll likely never get your money back, even if the hotel agrees to a free cancellation and a full refund. Here's how cancellation works: you pay Snaptravel, Snaptravel pays the hotel, you cancel and the hotel reimburses Snaptravel, you ask Snaptravel to reimburse you, they say: "Sorry, we aren't able to do that. Is there anything else we can help you with?" So they keep your money while providing zero goods or services. That's theft. Also, they are going out of business, so they have even less incentive to give any semblance of customer service.

A total bait and switch! Do not trust this company. I paid for a Doubletree hotel as advertised by Snaptravel and the hotel was no longer a Doubletree when I checked in very late and was left with no alternatives. The hotel changed into a no name hotel unbeknownst to me. This was not advertised by snaptravel when I booked the property the same day. The bed was by far the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in and clearly the standards of the hotel were not the same as a Doubletree. I was also unable to use my points on this trip as anticipated. Snaptravel refused to work with me and acknowledge this discrepancy or take any responsibility for it. Their online chat was full of canned phrasing and Danilo and Shelley, with whom I chatted for over 30 minutes, did not resolve the issue whatsoever. Now I am about to take it the issue up with my credit card. I will never book with Snaptravel again.

I used snap travel to book a room in Memphis a few months before my travel. I paid ahead of time and when I arrived at hotel there were no problems Beautiful Hotel.

Somehow I booked two motels for the same night. It was supposed to be one for a Thursday night and one for a Friday night in two different cities while I'm traveling. Both got booked for the Friday night instead. I called and said I needed one of those moved to Thursday night. Don't want a refund, just need to move the date. They said I couldn't have a refund. I don't want a refund, I just need the reservation moved from a Friday night to Thursday night. NO they said. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the agent said no you cannot. Anything else I can do for you, I said yes, move my date. She said no it was non-refundable. I don't want a refund, just move the date. She hung up.

The site is 100% legit. For anyone questioning if the deals work, they 100% do. When I sourced for my vacation this was the lowest of any site. Everything worked out so it’s safe to say Snaptravel is the best current deal site.

Snap travel ALWAYS give me the best deals and very competitive with there prices . Even after booking Snaptravel offered $30 in credits to extend my stay . Customer service is top tier . Highly recommended 10/10

I booked my hotel Baymont by Wyndham through them for Lake George. It was easy booking through them and got good discounts. Lake George is popular this time of year and it was the best rate we got for normal motels. The regular Wyndams were very costly. Baymont is a cheaper version.
