“Rolling Stones concert in Liverpool last night. Had what I thought was a ticket but it did not scan as it was too big - just an A4 piece of paper print off. After being denied entry I spoke to the ticket office at the venue (at first as there was no wifi I could not even show them I was genuine). They told me someone had already gone in on my seats so could not print off another version to get me in. In the end luckily they still had tickets available that could buy last night (so I paid out another £93 on top of the £163 already paid to Viagogo) so I did get in to see the concert. Now investigating it I am not even sure how I can start going about getting my £163 back - I am not optimistic I will be able to reading about what has happened to others. Cn anyone offer me any help?”
“I wouldn’t even give this company if thats what you can call them 1 STAR. I’ve just been ripped off by Viagogo and paid four times the price for it. Stupid or what? When I purchased my tickets the site said UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW and on reading this was in the VIP area. I paid £336.93 for 2 tickets. I have now received them but only for General admission. These tickets were selling for £68 each so you can imagine how angry I feel. This was a birthday treat and I’m now concerned that I can even get in the event after reading some of the other reviews. I really wish I had gone direct to the event organiser. Well if I and all of the other unhappy reviewers can keep letting others know not to use this awful company hopefully less people will not have such a terrible experience and loose so much hard earned money to waste on scammers. Once bitten twice shy. I haven even read that a Baron is associated with this company he really must be having a great laugh at us easy prey.”
“Short story now as we’ve spent two and half years trying to get refund of £176, basically they’ve stolen the money and looking at trustpilots reviews of them they’ve stolen many thousands of pounds from people. I’ve only looked at the reviews written in the last few days, theres pages and pages of bad reviews, they all mention money being taken. I think there’s a few people sunning themselves on beaches while leaving a few zombies to fend off customers complaints with their statutory line of “ I understand how you feel” Spoken to 3 of their zombies today, absolutely useless.”
“Purchased tickets 2 years ago for a concert, delayed by covid. Tickets need to be replaced, can't download them again as the file is damaged or corrupted. Been trying for 6 weeks to get replacement tickets. Concert is tomorrow, now I have been told to wait until 12 hours before the concert as they are still trying to get replacements. When my husband realized they were charging 2 times more for tickets with tons of supply at regular price and that it was a scam site I left, after having entered my cc info but before authorizing a purchase. “Read Trustpilot before “buying” from this company of cheats and scammers …I wish I had! We were refused entry to a venue because the tickets were invalid. Despite providing this mob with proof - numerous times - and the 4 different people I spoke to on the phone confirming that they could see that I had paid for this event, these cheats are now denying all knowledge. It’s no surprise that CEO, Eric Baker has narrowly escaped prison - Google him, it’s shocking!!! I now fully intend to expose these cheats on every public platform available - as will my many, many friends and family. Next step…legal action. He can’t buy his way out for ever!!!!
I emailed approx 30 times with multiple screenshots from the emails received from viagogo and from my viagogo account - which they have now deleted from my account. No problem though….I already had the proof.”

They are a complete scam and I'm SO annoyed with myself for buying them off this website.
Telling them the seats don't exist didn't make any difference, I have to resell to get my money back! ridiculous!!!
To make matters worse, I've been on the website again and they are selling the SAME tickets I have bought for the same night, same time, same seats.

“Bought two tickets September 2020, the concert was rescheduled for May 2022. I that time I moved and the new date was mid week and I could not attend. Tried to get a refund but no way. Said I could resell so I tried. Every time I listed the ticket for sale I got an email confirmation but online they kept telling me I had not relisted the ticket.
It is obvious to me now that I have lost £183.46 and these guys just get away with ripping people off. I will shout from the hilltops to whoever will listen, DO NOT GET TICKETS FROM VIAGOGO!!! Complete rip off merchants.”
“Went on their website yesterday 6/4/202 to see how much it would cost to buy a ticket for a sporting event in September in Italy. I decided to book the ticket after their website stated that they had 3 or 4 tickets left in the section I chose and I had 10 minutes to decide if I wanted to make the purchase or abandon the tickets. Feeling pressured by their website I completed the purchase.
When I received the confirmation email about my purchase they stated that the tickets would become available only on the 28th of August which is less than a week away from the event in question.
So I decided to google viagogo and found many websites with viagogo clients stating they were scammed by viagogo and even found a website that states that the Electronic crime division of my country actually had solved cases concerning viagogo.
So I decided to cancel my order and contacted their customer service only to be told that my order cannot be cancelled and that I can't receive a refund for the money spent which was a total of 340.40 euro they even told me to resell the ticket purchased but I told them how can I sell something that I have yet to receive and that I might never end up receiving?
I just want my order canceled and my money back.”
“I purchased tickets to an event that was cancelled. There was no make up date, it was just a full cancelation. I contacted Viagogo several times and each time they would say they were processing my refund.
Fast forward several months and now they are saying they will not refund me, but they will allow me to sell the tickets with no processing fee on their site.
YES Sell the tickets to an event that didn't happen, and wont happen ever. How much do you think I can get for those do you think?”

The bad £131-89 paid for my tickets !!!! When i received the tickets the actual price was £35 each
So we all expect to pay for any service but £61-89 is quite honestly a total bloody rip off

“Terrible customer service. Won't give me my money for tickets I sold. And threatening to charge me even though I sent tickets (after a huge amount of calling them /emails) as buyer hadn't provided shipping address. I had used them in past no problem (pre-pandemic) so assumed it would be OK.”
“If I could give zero stars I would. Bought three tickets through them for an event in April 2022. Due to covid, the event was postponed to July 2022. Because of this, we can’t make it now. No refund offered, with the explanation of it only being postponed, not cancelled. The customer helpline was not helpful at all. I then put the tickets up for sales, but I couldn’t even select for them to be sold individually, only as a bunch of three. I went down in price so much for them to finally sell, now I get a confirmation email to say that I’ll get my money 8 business days AFTER the event, in case the new buyers don’t make it to the venue, regardless of the fact that I have sold my tickets. So if they can’t make it for whatever reason, I’ll be missing out on my £150, when I paid £350 for them. It’s an absolute joke. Don’t buy with this company. Protect your money, make your life an awful lot easier and go elsewhere. Absolutely disgusting business model and customer service. Will never be buying again.”
