“So like many on here - I have absolutely nothing positive to say about Yodel.
I ordered an item through a well known online retailer but much to my disappointment Yodel was the chosen delivery service for my purchase.
Having no choice in the matter, I just had to hope and pray that I might be in the small minority of successful deliveries.
Unfortunately, I wasn't.
Originally, my package was apparently "refused at the door" which I find impossible to believe as there was no "Missed delivery slip" or any sort of proof that there had been an attempt to deliver my item.
With my spirits somewhat damped I remained proactive and rescheduled my delivery for today knowing that I would be home all day and available to accept the delivery.
Initially everything seemed find and I could see through the online Yodel tracking service that my package had been rescheduled for delivery.
However, whilst sitting here waiting for my package I've just checked the Yodel tracking service and for some unbeknown reason Yodel cancelled my delivery altogether any item had be returned to sender!
There was no explanation why they have done this and their online chat service is about as useful as a bag of old cabbages!
Thanks Yodel for having the worst service of any delivery company I've had to deal with!”
“Been waiting 3 days for my delivery. Check tracking. Its says on route. The driver is 10 mins away never came. his van stays at the same place all night lets hope the company goes bust”
“Waited in all day (again!!!) for two Yodel deliveries. Paid extra for a Saturday delivery too. One small parcel arrived but the bigger parcel didn’t. Lame stock excuse saying they tried but couldn’t access the property. I have CCTV and nobody tried to deliver anything. Order will now have to be cancelled and returned as it was a gift for a child.
There is no way of complaining either. Website questions only suit them not the customer.

“I have wasted a whole day waiting for a delivery. I was notified it’s on its way. I checked my tracking and now it’s says they can’t find the address. I live on a main road not the moon. I certainly would never, never use this company, what a pathetic excuse.”
“Used Yodel several times on different website orders, just generally a bad delivery service. First time my item came at the end of its estimated delivery time of a week quite late in the day. Second time the seller had sent my item to yodel, with no updates on its whereabouts on the app I rang yodel who said they hadn’t received it. Rang the seller who said it had been marked as delivered- it was sitting in their warehouse for over a day unknown. Third item was marked as a 2-3 delivery window but for some reason yodel are delivering it on the fourth because why not ?
If you have the chance don’t use yodel.”
“Card delivered. Called courier. Conflicting information. Come to shop after 5pm, but I could be not there as I deliver chinese. Ok try Monday before 11.30. I can’t promise that. Ok try Tuesday. Call me if I’m not answering, I could be in back garden. I can’t do that. Leave it in my brown bin. I can’t do that.
Conclusion: there is bit more to live than waiting for Yodel.....
Ps. There are excellent delivery companies, Yodel is MOT one of them!!”
“Yodel gives my parcels to neighbours and strangers and leaves me a card to go pick it up at some strangers house or shop... essencially giving strangers my full name and address without my consent”
“Would have been a zero if I could have. Delivery driver didn’t knock on the door. We were only a few feet away. And left the damaged parcel on the doorstep claiming it was ( LEFT IN A SAFE PLACE ) on the tracking app.”
“Driver claimed to have delivered a box of toilet paper AND that I had signed for it!! In fact, no one attempted to deliver anything - I was in the house the whole delivery window, none of my neighbours have the parcel, and the online chat say they cannot help. Yodel will not provide evidence of "my signature". Totally unacceptable.”

Once again my parcel has not been delivered. This is the third time yet they don't care one bit.
Drivers cant read, online staff are incompetent and nobody seems to care.

“Yodel do not deliver items, or accept responsibility for their failures. Their contact centre staff are poorly trained and processes are disjointed - I assume to frustrate callers. Four separate failed deliveries/missing items in six weeks!
You would do well to avoid like the plague.”
“A child could do a better job. They will send you parcel to the wrong address then claim you didn't receive your next day delivery parcel because they couldn't gain access to your property. Just brilliant! Such an incompetent company. Money down the drain.”
“Fedup of my orders arriving incomplete. Always says everything has been delivered and signed for but always 1 / 2 items missing. Try and ring this company and get fobbed off. So ring were I ordered from and makes me look like a fraud. Sick of yodel wish the company I buy from would use someone else”
“Every single time I have ordered something and I see that it is through YODEL, I just know that it is not going to ever arrive. Every time, and I mean EVERYTIME, I have been given only 2 cards despite them saying it's been attempted 3 times. I have been in on numerous occasions and my doorbell hasn't even gone off, I have even seen Yodel delivering to neighbours and the delivery person just runs up with no package and posts the envelope with illegible or no writing at all. Customer service on the phone is useless telling me, that my package is at the depot which is near 20 miles away. I drive up there and waste my morning, only to find out that it's still with the delivery driver!? I will not be buying any product online ever if it is via Yodel.
I have also been hung up numerous times over the phone because the number on my card was inaccurate??
The incompetence is legendary.”
“If I could leave a minus star I would. Second parcel in as many weeks to have go astray. 1st one driver kept saying he had tried to deliver and times he said someone was about. Then parcel went astray on route to depot. 2nd time just won’t tell me where parcel has been delivered to. Can only contact machine and still am no further on. DO NOT USE IF YOU WANT A GUARANTEED DELIVERY!!!!’”
“Tried to get a parcel delivered, they didn’t even ring the doorbell on two consecutive days, delivery was then reorganised for the next morning, and no sign of an attempted delivery, still waiting on arrival of package”
“Yodel was my worst delivery experience of all. I sent 3 parcels to the same address. One got lost. It took Yodel 8 months to accept that they had lost my parcel. I don't know how long it's going to take them to compensate me for it, although my parcel was insured, I had to take them to court before getting the first offer for the lost. Truly disappointing.”
“Yodel has been my worst delivery experience. Awful customer service. There are no one to talk to apart from the chat. Chat is very unhelpful they basically say sorry we can’t help with anything which makes their existence pointless. “Simbongil” was my customer service person and he/she was not only unhelpful but also rude.”
