I have just had probably the worst customer service experience with these cowboys! Lies, lies, lies! They claim to have tried to deliver and left a card, when I called to question this I was told that "driver had made a mistake" and actually hadn't deliveredd and then changed their mind to the fact that the service centre had made a mistake. Then I called and spoke to a robot who just kept saying the same thing over and over again, didn't care at all about my experience, refused to help with a delivery time. Have just written to the chief exec of Asda and recommended dumping them. Let's hope he listens. I agree with the other reviewer, I could actually have commmitted murder tonight. I have a little girl expecting a Frozen costume for a party tomorrow and I have to explain it's not coming - not earth shattering I know but for her it will be. Very, very poor.

This is the worse delivery service ever! The only way of speaking with someone for Preston area is to dial 118118 who then connect you, when the auto service is asking for an 8 digit type in 12345678 usually asks twice which will then put you through to someone! The people are useless on the phone and need training in customer service, they then state how sorry they are your parcel hasn't come! But they tried to deliver to the wrong address (bull). They can only help by delivering again next day, which they think is helping you! I've even wrote to the company where I ordered the parcel from and told them not to use yodel deliveries if they still want customers to keep using them!

Yodel has repeatedly failed to deliver to my address and yet they have contacted me to say the they have. We are rural and I think that the drivers just find it too difficult to bother. It is particularly irritating if you have paid extra for express delivery (not knowing that Yodel is the company being used) an someone has stayed in all day to receive the delivery. If you have any choice use someone else.

Paid extra to have a Saturday delivery, waited in, it never came. On their parcel history says they made attempted delivery and left a note, both of which is untrue. Then waited in on Monday for redelivery, by 6pm nothing, tried to contact Yodel. Phone number 7ppm to listen to a robot voice, no human being. Eventually get through to 'chat' on their website (which is perpetually unavailable). Person says it will definitely be delivered by 9pm..... and yep you've guessed it, it wasn't! History says attempted delivery!! Such liars... the company is not to be trusted

It is impossible to tell companies which delivery company to use, however I will factor in which courier they are using before I place orders in future. 5days later than expected! A day chasing it up along with cost of phone calls! So so frustrating and to top it of a damaged obviously dropped means damaged contents!!!!! Now it needs returning! Will be sticking to royal mail in future. Rant over!

If, like me, the thought of going to prison fills you with horror, do not use this delivery company. When you're finished with their total lack of communication and false tracking updates, you'll want to murder someone. Like others on here, I waited in for 2 days when tracking told me my item was out for delivery. The driver updated ( while I was waiting) that he had attempted delivery but no one was in and a card had been left , none of this was true. Scheduled again for next day, waited in again, didn't arrive! Countless calls to their call centre proved hopeless, no one uses a phone so unable to contact customer to advise just what is going on or to apologise. I drove over an hour to collect myself. The reception area was busy with others who had been given exactly the same excuses and were all furious. The company are horrendous, do not use under any circumstances please.

Ordered an item on eBay paid extra for 24 hour delivery. Didn't arrive within 24 hours. Day after according to tracking was out for delivery. At 8pm was marked as delivered. Not to us, we were in all day. We live rurally with no immediate neighbours and anyone locally wouldn't have signed for it, would have given directions or brought it round themselves. Yodel say signed for my a name we've never heard of and they will call the driver to see where he delivered it to. Three days later they are still going to call the driver and advise us to contact the Seller. Already have and seller also been told Yodel will call the driver. Appalling service, never had any issue with any other delivery company. Asda use them and also have huge problems, will never buy anything again couriered by Yodel. We now have no goods and no money. Abominable service run by liars and cheats.

This company have lost 5 separate deliveries in a row due to the incompetence of the yodel staff please do not use these thieves to transport any thing because it will get stolen by the staff and noted as lost in transit! I ordered an expensive watch which they have stolen but classed as "lost" causing the shop to re-send it multiple times causing a long wait for the pre-order to become available each time!

As a event planner having deliveries delivered on time is key for me. Yodel has been the worst experience this far when it comes to deliveries. I was scheduled for a delivery a day before my event , with yodel they have a wide waiting gap 8am-9pm so your day is on hold as it is but not only did I call 5 times they couldn't get through to the driver to even find out where he is or weather he will do the delivery on not. Worst feeling ever. The help lines close earlier than 9pm so if you haven't recieved your delivery you can't even find out what has happened. I will NEVER use yodel again and I will also find out who the items I order from are delivering with. I wouldn't recommended the company at all because of their poor communication they cost me a client review that's effecting my job. Royal Mail are safe and straight forward. Very disappointed customer.

I have had terrible experiences with Yodel in every place that I have lived over the last five years. Absolutely incompetent - If I see that a company uses them to deliver I will buy from somewhere else. Seriously, just don't waste your time. Latest driver has 'Failed to find my address' two days in a row on an Express Delivery that I have paid a premium for. All other companies manage to find me. I can only assume that he hasn't bothered.

Appalling and disgusting service. The driver, scheduled to collect a parcel, is a liar. I purposely waited in and was painting by the front door all morning. Got an email to say the driver had called but was unable to get an answer! I want to know where he bought his invisibilty cloak from! Dishonest git. As too was the driver, the week before, who claimed he left a parcel in our porch. No parcel, no card through the door and as the parcel was a food and drink present from M&S, I would guess its in the driver's belly. I would never trust any goods with this outfit!

Managed to loose my parcel which don't know how they can loose an item that big now have to wait for new parcel to arrive I have one upset little girl as this was her birthday present

Wish I could give 0 stars. Total incompetence. Package sent back to company as delivery was 'refused'. Can't tell by whom, and it was not us, as they never turned up. Customer service gives attitude, rather than sort it out, or at least apologise. The worst.

Attempted delivery three times while I was on holiday then the system doesn't allow you a final successful delivery and you can't speak to a real person. To then require someone to go from London to Borehamwoid (12 miles) 1 hour 20 minutes round trip if you have a car, which I don't so it'll take the best part of half a day by public transport, not to mention the cost. It's the antithesis of customer service. Why don't they just leave one card then let you contact them?! I am furious and will never use them to send anything and shall avoid retailers who use their delivery services.

The slowest delivery service uk, is what they should be renamed!! I've ordered four items online (12/7/15) from separate company's, the first item which is the biggest, heaviest, and furthest distance came (14/7/15), ok this item should have been a pair but only one came, phoned the company sorted, it arrived (15th) the courier was dpd, two other items arrived on the 16th, this was one day late,delivery company Royal mail, the last one which should have been the first (fast delivery 14th ) still hasn't arrived, delivery company Yodel!!! why can't they operate like dpd.

Parcel did not arrive. Missed delivery card randomly found on the floor of the lift in my building, completely blank but the code checks out as my delivery! Spoke to yodel who said the parcel was left in my porch... I live in a block of flats I don't have a porch! (Not to mention I was in at the time of supposed delivery!!) Worst service ever!

YODEL did not delivered my parcel although their taking services states that it was delivered delivered on the time I was at home all day!!! I'm fighting with YODEL for over two moths now and still no results, no explanation what really happened with my parcel or where is it!. tem was not delivered to me! It mysteriously vanished like for may other YODEL customers!!! AVOID YODEL AT ALL COSTS !

No card left, no contact made, poor customer service and NO scheduled time for redelivery. We all have nothing better to do just sit all day and wait for a parcel. It is a joke!

Driver fantastic, he actually rang me. Virgins tracking number does not work and although Yodal cards display a number you are unable to speak to anyone. Parcel should have been delivered Friday, waited in all day and missed delivery at 7.15om. I rang Virgin (India) to tell them to let the driver know we had to go out at 2pm on Saturday, which they said they would and of course , they didn't and he came again. On the third day of waiting I was worried the parcel would never get to me as how could I sort this out without talking to anyone.Luckily the driver contacted me to say he would come on Monday morning, which he did. He said he was sceduled to return at 4.30m which would of been 3 days of extreme stress. To cap it all Yodal texted me, again I was unable to ring or text them back.They stated that after today they would leave my expensive parcel with a neighbour, what a joke! I will definitely avoid ordering anything if I know it's coming from Yodal.The customer service is none existent and Virgin India is little better, the poor driver did a great job, but I wasn't happy to leave my mobile taped to a note on the door for 3 days for him to ring me.

The worst delivery service ever. I have yet to be satisfied with their promised delivery times or customer services afterward - valentine flowers delivered to wrong address in the past, daughters parcels left at the end of our drive, and today I receive a text message telling me an order which I paid next day delivery for, has been delayed a further 24 hours due to a processing error, I won't be at home to receive it in 24 hours, the whole point of paying for next day delivery is because it's urgent, I'm now unable to go to a family event on the opposite side of the country due to this company. Try getting through to their customer services? Automated nonsense and they don't even recognise my address or tracking number. So next time you place on online order, check if yodel are delivering, and maybe think of alternative choices, I will never recommend them.
