Ordered an item from America but when it got here the van driver decided to leave it in a safe place , the van drivers meaning of the word safe place was to check the parcel over my 6ft gates and of course the worst thing happened the item in the parcel got broken, as this item was a birthday present I am not best pleased .This is not the first time this has happened ,parcels have been left under the front of the car, even in the wheelie bin Yodel need to get their act together .A very disgruntled customer.

The worst ,almost comical,can't do the basics right, lie about attempted delivery.will not be using any company that uses yodel in future

DreadfulLack of Service I was notified of the date Yodel would deliver (13th August 2015|) and arranged to stay in so I could sign for them. To my dismay I waited all day and night but nobody arrived. I spoke to the customer services in Manchester who on this occasion was very polite but he really couldn't do anything other than reschedule the delivery for the next day. The tracking site stated that they could not make the delivery and a call card was left. THIS IS NOT THE CASE, AS STATED, I WAS IN ALL DAY AND NO CARD WAS EVER LEFT. Anyway I was reassured by the call centre that someone would come the next day (14th August 2015) so I arranged to yet again sit in all day - I cancelled a couple of appointments that I had as I really needed to take delivery. Again no-one turned up, although again the tracking site says unable to deliver and calling card left. AGAIN THIS IS INCORRECT. I called the call centre and spoke to someone who was far from helpful and rather rude, which I found upsetting. He couldn't help and said he had tried to get hold of the depot but they were not answering. He rather curtly said - you will just have to wait in tomorrow and see if they come. This is appalling customer service - I wonder why they bother having a customer service centre if they 1. can't help and 2. are generally rude. I am still awaiting my parcel - it was again arranged for today 15th Aug - again the driver says he has failed to deliver and left a card - THIS IS RUBBISH. My husband and I stayed in all day - he didn't turn up and never left a card. It now says I have to collect from the Borehamwood Branch - this is not possible for me. They are then stating they will hold it for a time and then return it to the original company. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

Yodel failed on two occasions to pick up a consignment from our home. This was camping equipment for my wife and daughters camping trip including tent sleeping bags etc, leaving her and our 9 year old daughter stranded in the Scottish highlands. We did not chose Yodel directly but they were subcontracted by Luggage-Mule. Very unhelpful on the phone, no ability to contact their drivers unlike almost all other couriers. No ability for their drivers to call the customer if they can't find house. I would never go anywhere near this company ever again under any circumstances. Just dreadful.

I ordered a pair of shoes to be delivered by yodel. They came but decided not to knock on my door so I ended up missing the delivery. A card was put through my door saying it was given to a neighbour but they didn't say which number so I ended up walking to all the doors on my road asking. I phoned them up and was put through to a machine that didn't understand what I was saying 50% of the time. It turned out they had it returned to the service centre so I had to redeliver them.

i felt like yodels customer service was a joke god knows how much it must of cost me in calls to there expensive 0844 number sometimes getting cut off by there automated machine until it finally put on to the world's worst customer service rep and when i called back i was told totally different to what i was told the first time DO NOT USE YODEL and hears abbc like just to show you what it's like ps i am posting this on th 14/8/15 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjLfHpijPOc

Worst parcel service ever driver couldn't find parcel on van when he came to my house said he would be back never returned .then had a txt saying wasn't in left a card saying he would be back next day

Day one advised by online tracking that driver had access denied - there are no access issues to our home on a modern housing development. Day two again advised that driver had access denied - repeat there are no access issues. I asked if I could collect from depot as package was now urgent - told not before 9am the following day. This was at 11:30am! My wife and I were both at home on both days. I don't believe for one second that a driver had made an attempt to deliver parcel.

Booked a parcel for collection through yodel direct. waited in but failed to collect so i tried to rebook the parcel for collection but a message came up saying this parcel is not available to rebook for collection.i contacted yodel by phone and their new text message service only to be told the next day i would have to contact yodel Direct and not Yodel only yodel direct do not have any contact information there is just no way of contacting them at all other than occasionally a live chat box sometimes appears, so yodel sent me a link which just sent me to yodel directs help page with no contact info on them, Anyway at the bottom of yodel directs page reads as follows...© Parcel2Go.com Ltd 1995-2015 All Rights Reserved. | Company Number: 02591405 | VAT Number: 597 8491 61 Terms & Conditions | Privacy Policy | Cookie Policy | Refund Policy | Site Map. So i contacted parcel2go via their live chat on facebook who told me this has nothing to do with them and i would need to contact yodel direct to sort this out to which i replied yodel direct have no contact info and the yodel direct webpage has copyright parcel2go at the bottom so i thought you may be able to help me, the chat person just did not answer and left it at that and i left the chat open but they nevr came back, after waiting in for 4 working days with 2 bored children i managed to get on to live chat and explain what had happened and was told the driver had run out of time and that i would have to rebook the collection myself to which i replied i get the message that this parcel is not available to rebook and i have been trying to contact someone and rebook it for nearly a week.The live chat person asked me if i would like her to rebook it which she supposedly did, the chat was closed and left it at that, next day no collection and when i looked at the status it still read the same (delayed on route) o and the chat person sent me a new label via email and said i would need to print this new label off and stick it on the parcel,The new label was the same as the one already on, exactly the same, so anyway she had not rebooked the parcel for collection she just fobbed me off.I managed to connect with live chat again and went through the refund process and i'm currently waiting for this to go through.The chat person emma i think it was offered to upgrade my parcel and put £15 into a prepaid account which i refused and After over a week and apologies to the customer as this was a ebay sale i booked TNT to collect the parcel the same day and this has been delivered next day all for £1 more than yodel. I have posted many large boxes with yodel direct mainly through parcel2go without any issues But after this fiasco NEVER again.

Whilst the local couriers seem to be OK they have an upward struggle with Yodel organisation therefore get the backlash from frustrated customers. In my latest case a parcel that was dispatched from near Southampton for Cornwall was picked up OK and taken to the local Yodel depot. From there it was taken in the evening to the distribution depot at Hatfield in Hertfordshire which must be over a 100 miles in the wrong direction of it's destination. It stayed at Hatfield for a day before being transported to Cornwall the next night. The sender had paid for 24 hour delivery but when I informed him that it had not arrived he checked up and was told that Yodel 24 hour service can take up to two days. You cannot phone anybody at Yodel or if you do it costs 62 p per minute and their online chat only gets you some idiot who does not even seem to know what day of the week it is. The depots either do not have phone numbers or never answer the phone. I just cannot see the logic in transporting parcels away from their destination which adds time and cost and to charge for a 24 hour service which then takes two days is fraud. All this leads to frustration which is usually taken out on the delivery driver when he turns up. All in all Yodel offers a poor service which I shall avoid in the future.

Absolutely rubbish delivery company, they have liars for drivers they don't care about their customers or the service they provide. They should be ashamed of themselves it's unfortunate you can't choose who delivers your orders when you order from a company because if you could I would never choose these cowboys.

Awful awful awful. I have no way of getting my parcel other than driving 25 miles to their nearest depot! Shocking when so many other good delivery services available. Customer service is also no. Existent

I would never recommend Yodel to anybody. I haven't seen any courier around my blocks of flats for 2 days that I've spent at home waiting for my parcel. However, my parcel status is : delivery attempted, call card left. Of course there is no card left in my mail box. The staff don't communicate with each other. They called me at 9:09 that my parcel is going to be delivered between then and 7 pm. After some time I checked my status and it said that the courier had been there at 9. Totally disgusted.

Waited in all morning for delivery of a parcel from Homebase. Checked status from text message on my mobile. Status said item had been delivered to customer and left in a safe place. The item had NOT been delivered and obviously had been left at the wrong address. When I rang Yodal to explain what had happened I asked him to ring me back giving both my landline and mobile numbers. NO PHONE CaLL WAS RECEIVED . Absolute Rubbish Cusdtomer service.!

Stayed in all day as parcel had to be signed for. In evening had phone call from a gentleman saying my parcel had been left outside his gate as no one there. I then had to drive and get package. So pleased there are honest people about. Disgusted with YODEL delivery service , they should not be in business !!

Horrific service through and through. I wish companies would state on-line if they are using Yodel. In the 5 or 6 times I have had to deal with them not once has the experience been pleasant in terms of time taken to deliver, customer care and finally retrieving parcel(s) from their depot. Disgusting!

Yodel's online tracking has transpired to be little more than a trail of lies. From claims of delivery attempts and cards left, that were patently and demonstrably untrue, to supposed refusal of a delivery, which was equally untrue. And customer service is virtually non-existent. Really struggling to understand why any business would have Yodel on the front line with their customers.

When I tracked my delivery on yodel website it was scheduled for delivery on 1 August. I stayed at home all day long, because this parcel is really important to me and requires signature. Around 4 pm I used online live chat and yodel representative confirmed that everything fine and I'll definitely receive my parcel by the end of the day. However I end up my day with no delivery at all. At 9.21 pm they changed status on tracking page for" delivery attempt was made, card left" :) Excuse me? Is it normal to provide customers with false statements? I have CCTV camera which looks right to the front door. Do they realise that it's easy to provide proof that nobody's was even near my property at that day? I really would like the investigation by yodel and want their driver to be responsible for what they do. Disgusting liars
