Just received two begonia hanging baskets. Both bone dry and looked on their last legs. Was expecting two beautiful flower baskets. Have sent several messages to them and all you get is look after them for two weeks and see how they go. A complete waste of money especially for two elderly pensioners. Disgraceful. Have asked for refund it know this will not happen. Will go to my local garden centre next time.

dreadful company and customer service - last year ordered 5 roses only 1 had green shoots on it - 1 nearly dead and 3 completely dead and one has just about survived - was asked to wait to contact CS because of covid and unfortunately I left it - I just ordered 12 fushias only 11 in packaging which had not been secured - very poor quality plants - now 2 of the remaining fushias have died - also ordered 3 Echinacea Green Twister premium price and very small plants one of them looks to be nearly dead - after contacting customer service with several terse emails - they will only honour their guarantee if I pay £6.99 postage again - they are sending out dead or very inferior plants and making customers pay again for the privilege - will not be ordering from this company again and will make sure that I tell everyone that I can

Ordered plants 31/5 and phoned a week ago to be told one item out of stock so they weren’t going to send but will send now with another item. I’ve waited another week and still nothing so called today. As another item instantly became out of stock, they still didn’t send anything!!! I’ve cancelled order and been told will take 14 days for refund. Just had message from Vodaphone to tell me call cost me £8.72 today. Ever been conned???

If I could rate less than one star I would!! Ordered ‘jumbo plug’ hanging basket plants at end of April and only just received (mid June) what can only be described as almost dead specimens - have written three emails to You Garden about this order and only had automated acknowledgements in return and a message saying they are sorry I have waited so long and to send pictures if any problems which I have done but still no response again over a week later. I made the mistake of calling them when I didn't receive any response only to find it was a premium rate number for not premium service!! Have been charged extortionately for a call only to be told to send an email which I had already done!!!

Ordered over £250 flowers shrubs. Apart from the Apple Tree, Jasmine were ok. Rest arrived dead or in a terrible state. Customer Service both Ideal World and You Garden absolutely disgusting. Not had one person answer my email with the same name. Am now trying to get thru to Trades Descriptions and a National Paper to report this Company. Cannot believe the reviews. You Garden sent a couple of replacements but these were either dead or dying.

2 Gardenias 'Celestial Star' ordered and received February 2021. They didn't look in great shape but I looked after them in our greenhouse until it eventually became obvious that neither had thrived. It was now early May and these gardenias were out of stock. It was not possible to get through on the freephone number, so I emailed Customer Services. Response from Yougarden said I could choose anything else to the same value but it had to be order via Freephone. Today (June 21) I did get through on Freephone and spoke to Alex who was very helpful and said 'Celestial Star' is back in stock if I would like replacements, which I have agreed to. Still need to pay £6.99 P & P as outside the 30 day guarantee. This seems to be to be counter-productive for Yougarden as it is better for customers financially to reject plant/s within 30 days even if it's not yet clear whether the plants will survive. I suggest that perennial plants should have longer than 30 days with customer to assess viability before re-order triggers further P & P.

Very rude customer service I found. He was sharp with his answers, I was just asking about a delivery. He told me I had got to be more patient. The delivery time had gone up from when the order was taken, but he denied this. Infact I have never come across such a rude customer service. Won’t be dealing with these again. Reading all the following reviews I haven’t even received the plants yet. I don’t hold out much hope for them or the quality judging by what people say.

The worst Company I have dealt with online. They either don't send the goods, or they cancel them, and promise a refund, which you will not get either. Don't bother emailing them, as they don't acknowledge or reply. If you don't believe me, take a look at the reviews on Trust pilot, wish I had, before ordering. Will be contacting Trading Standards and Paypal to get my money back.

Rubbish plants arrived shriveled and bone dry. Remainder of order not delivered. Company’s customer service is non existent. Numerous emails ignored. Will now refer them to my credit card company and there local trading standards office.

Do not use this company. I wish I had read the reviews. No product delivered after 4 weeks, although was in stock, after pestering got a tracking number which says out for delivery to be delivered every day, for a week! But a refund can only be given if I send the items back at my own expense! But I haven’t even got them! So catch 22! Horrible upsetting experience with the customer “service” I have called 5 times at my own expense. Have missed the season for the plants if they ever did arrive they would be very dead. Don’t upset yourself with this company it’s not worth the misery!

Ordered plants via their link in Gardeners’ World. Over two weeks later and plants still not despatched and cannot cancel order. Customer service is non existent and they actually stated once despatched it could take nearly a week for delivery - how are plants meant to survive that! Would never order from them again! #GardenersWorld not doing themselves any favours promoting this Company!

Ripped off and sent plants way smaller than paid for and they ignore your emails if you argue your point, deny you have sent pics as they request, all in all I will never use this company (if you can even call them that) again. I would rather spend double elsewhere than give these another penny of my money!!!

Plug plant fuchsias spindly and one tiny plant . The clematis plants weren’t up to much and the annual I would even pay 50 p for in the reduced area of B&q . Overall with the postage I found you garden to be very expensive with poor quality plants . I did complain and they sent one more annual and that was even more tatty then the first one sent out ! So much more quality out there and much cheeper in the shops and garden centres. I will never buy mail order again !

Ordered 80-100 cms trees. Waited months to arrive. Arrived and all under 70cms and half dead at bottom. Very poor after service with Curt emails offering a £5 voucher, meaning they don’t lose out and refusing to collect the trees for a refund. Appalling service and products, there are much better websites to order from. Don’t waste your time or money with this company

Changed my mind. After phoning a second time got a really helpful person who has arranged a refund for the begonias and a replacement for the Busy Lizzie. The first assistant was poor and unhelpful but had I been treated like this in the first plsceI would not have posted my previous review. So sorry is due tomorrow o this company from me.

Begonia majestic plants leggy practically leafless nearly dead and only fit for the compost heap. Impatiens ( Busy Lizzie) leggy half dead with decaying leaves needed to be despatched weeks ago -again only fit for the compost heap. When I complained I would have needed to photo them and eMail the photos which I don’t know how to do and was told to get someone to do this for me. Who? They are welcome to inspect them themselves although after 3days they have rotted away. They must have known these plants were useless when they packaged them so why not just replace them. Instead I have wasted quite a lot of money. Why did they need this “proof” when they knew the plants were not fit for purpose? They must have known I was telling the truth because the ordinary bedding begonias and antirrhinums were fine yet they were all packaged together and at the same time.

Poor service , feeble excuses for late delivery, still waiting since 6th April for plants to arrive. Took my payment quick enough. My advice would be to look elsewhere this is rubbish.

Dreadful! Same as many of these. Spent over £100 on plants most of which either never grew (rotten strawberry runners, dead shrubs). Went to the trouble of calling, then sending in photos, got lots of « sorry we are so busy- we will get to your email soon » automated email excuses, but no follow up, despite chasing 3 times. Am now going to put in a data subject access request and then sue them if I don’t get a refund, because I am a lawyer and feel annoyed enough about the dismissive approach to customer service to take the time to do so. Will also complain to Radio Times where they advertised as they are clearly targeting older people and the magazine should not be associated with this.
