The Oxford store has terrible customer service. The staff are very rude, they avoid eye contact and they go out of their way not to help! A shame as I love Zara's clothes

Wouldn't accept an exchange or gift card for an item that wasn't worn and had label on. Receipt says you're entitled to one.

The clothes and fashion style are innovative and exciting, but when something goes wrong, the experience is not so great. Bought an item, which when I took it home and tried it on, found it had a faulty clasp. Took it back to be exchanged but they had no stock of the item left. As I did not have the receipt as it had been mislaid, I was happy to accept a voucher. However, the item had since been reduced in the sale and even though the store manager acknowledged there was problem with the clasp, and even though I had my bank statement that showed the date, and price paid for the single item at that Zara branch, they refused to reimburse me with a voucher for the price paid, and instead gave me a voucher for the sale value. Still upset about the experience, and with hindsight, probably should not of accepted the reduced value voucher without first getting advice on my rights from a consumer advisory service.

I loved the coat I bought as it fit nicely and was a lovely colour but unfortunately their attitude at the till is really poor they don't seem to care how long you are standing queuing

A few month ago I bought a white and green shirt for my baby, after first wash it looked like a very old rough shirt, white shirt became like pale white shirt, samething happened with my husband white shirt, again I bought a blue trouser from zara last month, after first wash it looked like an old rough trouser,it a very bad experience for me ,quality is going down day by day,I always used to say that zara is vey good, but material and quality going down day by day.

Don't buy clothes from Zara as gifts unless you're 100% certain they'll be right !! Zara will not exchange anything unless you have the receipt. My daughter bought me a shirt which was a little too small. I tried to exchange for a larger size but the staff were totally unhelpful and, in effect, said "Go away". The shirt was perfect, unworn and still had all labels in place. My daughter no longer had the receipt so I had to throw away a perfectly good shirt. APPALLING !!

My grandaughter has just got into brands and loved her Zara duffel coat. It was packaged beautifully but the coat was very poor quality. The fabric was low grade with little warmth and not even a hook to hang up. If you want to remain a top brand you need to look at quality

My daughter went to her local Zara store today to spend her £100 voucher she was given for Christmas. We were told she could not redeem her voucher because the Wifi was down and it would be New Year before it was up again. We were told that the store could not 'hold' the items for her. She had chosen sale items and didn't want to lose out on them. We were told that we could purchase them on debit or credit card, not wear them, keep the labels on, make a return trip to Zara in a few days, get a refund for the items and then immediately buy them back on the voucher!!! We were told we could not redeem cash against the voucher. How disappointing for my daughter who had a special trip out to use her voucher - the experience was ruined and she can't wear any of the clothes until this is resolved in the New Year. I am writing to the Manager of the store and the the Customer Service Manager of Zara to understand what part of this process offers the customer any kind of 'service'. Basically, we have been and will again be completely inconvenienced. Very, very disappointed.
