“We had some difficulty with our booked transfers from Catania airport to Taormina. The staff in the airport was not expecting us. It was obvious that there was some miscommunication between the central booking office and the staff on the ground at the airport. The staff in the airport did not have our booking as confirmed. After an hours wait, the staff at the airport was able to correct the error and we were on our way. There were no issues with the return transfer back to the Catania airport and both drivers were excellent. I would use Ziptransfers again but I would make sure to confirm our booking with them before we leave. Even though we already had an email confirming our booking. It was a little frustrating having to wait an hour but all staff were helpful and prompt in dealing with the problem.”

“Easy to book and good value compared to some other taxi firms. I have taken off 1 star as there was no one waiting for us in arrivals as promised. We wandered up and down for over 10 minutes then we phoned the helpline and a driver arrived a short while later. Return journey was spot on.”

“Ready on arrival, very efficient if not a little too rushed hence 4 rather than 5. Pickup on return 10 minutes late and was about to call the office due to being let down before by other operators. Didn’t expect a minibus for 3 people but it did the job and very efficiently. Would book again.”

“We were met at the airport as agreed and after a short walk our luggage was stowed and we were taken to the door of our apartment. I would use Ziptransfers again and also recommend them to friends.”

“Mostly a good choice of transfer, and cheaper than taxi. I've usually been satisfied with the drivers, but this time the female driver that took me from the airport to the hotel drove far too fast (160km/h in a 120 zone) and wasn't very interested in slowing down, let alone stop smoking while driving. The man that returned me to the airport a couple weeks later was a good driver and gave good service. Seeing as my experiences with taxis are usually worse in all aspects, I recommend using Ziptransfers.”
