“I made an appointment for ASAP because my car wouldn't start. It took them 2 days to get someone to me. It was over 4th of July weekend so I can kind of understand. Thankfully I was at home and not stranded. The battery that was put in my vehicle was not the right one. It fit and the car worked but it was too long and the bracket holder wouldn't fit. I took it to dealership for them to give me a new bracket but they couldn't so they put in a different battery. I totally got ripped off by using 1-800 battery and I won't use them again. It would have been cheaper to get it my vehicle towed to the dealership.”

“Bought a nearly $400 battery and was scheduled for installation the next day. The appointment window passes and I have heard NOTHING from anyone. I have to text and then call to find someone to give me an explanation. Never an apology, and barely an excuse of “I don’t know. We can’t find a tech. You’re in a ‘hard’ area (literally right up the interstate from Nashville).” - that was 6 hours ago and I am still sat waiting with NO call back/follow up and a sketchy company holding my hard-earned money. 10/10 would NEVER recommend. Also. I, obviously, still don’t have the battery I purchased in my possession 🎉”

“Do yourself a favor and have your car jumped or towed to a reliable mechanic if possible! My car's battery unfortunately died while parked in my garage, I discovered it July 3. I was eager to try the convenience of having it replaced by 1-800-battery.com. Everything seemed to be going great and was updated, via text and email, the battery was ready to be shipped and may arrive before the technician. A link to a branded video was included. Since then, radio silence the automated responses state they are open. I understand it is the holiday weekend but just let me know that. Not one response via any of their communication channels. So frustrating! Still waiting to hear from them over 24 hours later.”

“Tried to cancel the order with ample notice before it shipped. Was told it was cancelled and refunded and I would receive a confirmation email. No email came so I contacted them again four hours later and they said they needed to make sure it didn’t already ship. Status on order was awaiting fulfillment during the whole conversation. Not only did they not cancel it, but 24 hrs later I get a notice that the order shipped. The agent did not cancel it and purposely waited until it shipped hoping I would not initiate a return. Do not purchase from this website or company. Do not expect to have any clarity when purchasing or assistance when you reach out. I am still waiting on the batteries to arrive, to begin the return process.”

“I’m using this service “again” because they installed a bad battery the first time that doesn’t fit my car. Tech was supposed to show up between 9a-11a for the warranty replacement on this visit and so far it’s 12:30 with no word. No offer for reimbursement for wasting my time.”

“Two days of past and no one has shown up with a battery or made an attempt to contact me to install it. I would be careful with this site. I am going to ask for my money back since they make you pay upfront. I wonder how that will go. If it’s too good to be true, maybe it’s a lie.”

“Professional, Patient, and Reliable Service The tech delivered the battery and installed it on-site, making the entire experience incredibly convenient and stress‑free. I’m very grateful for the excellent service. Kinley did an outstanding job. He was professional, respectful, and incredibly patient while replacing the battery on my Mercedes R350-a very difficult job since the battery is hidden deep behind the seats with uncommon screws. My car was completely dead and couldn’t even be jump‑started, but he didn’t give up and got it done. 1800 Battery is a reliable company, and I highly recommend them.”

“Terrible customer service and poor transparency. Ordered a battery and tech install for a total of $199.99 - the tech arrived promptly, was very helpful and advised that the issue was not the battery. I was still charged the full amount, so I contacted customer service and was told the total would be adjusted for the service call only. That fee ended up being $125! No where in my receipt was there a breakdown showing a service call for that amount. Batteries do not cost $75 anymore, so either I was getting a cheap product or the service fee is not correct. I contacted customer service again today and spoke to someone today who would not give me their name and sent me a link to show where the service fee is shown - but it’s not in the link or on the site. I responded stating that and was told to feel free to contact management and then ignored. What an awful experience.”
