“The battery delivery and installation is a true value - especially for someone who is stuck. However, my particular experience with the tech was unnerving. Once he arrived, I asked if I could wait inside while her worked, and he asked me to stay outside because I’d have to start the car up. So, I stood off to the shade. While he worked, he showed tremendous frustration and disdain toward the job at hand - yelling curse words continually and roughly managing the components and tools he was working with. I was very unsettled and anxious by the behavior. I offered him a bottle of cold water to try and help him relax. He kindly accepted the bottle. When I had to sign at the end of the job, he was pleasant, so I know his behavior was not aimed at me and was aimed at the job at hand. All the same, the experience left me nervous, anxious, and uneasy.”

“I scheduled the battery installation for 2-4pm but after waiting for the whole day, there was absolutely no communication and decided to cancel it at 7:30pm. Contacted another business and they showed up less than an hour later for a cheaper cost too. Wasted my whole day”

“I was in a real jam - trying to get out of town in time for a dinner - and my battery died the night before. Woke up and called a few places before landing on 1-800-Battery and they were great. From start to finish the whole process took about 2 hours. The technician - Abdel - was great and had the new battery installed and took away the old in in a matter of 30 minutes. I hope i don't need them again, but if my battery dies, I will definitely come back.”

“Your system sucks. I ordered on Friday at 11am and paid for the battery. I was given the 12-2 slot. At 2:15 I called. They had not found a tech. I called again at 4pm. Not only had they not found a tech, they could not guarantee the battery could be installed on Saturday or Sunday or Monday or ever. I canceled. Your website and system is very misleading. The system makes it seem you will be able to have a new battery installed within hours. Yet in reality you cannot commit to installation with days or a week. You are a bogus company. Alan Alexander”

“Good experience. Battery on our Genesis died after 8 years. Given its size, weight and location (the trunk) I opted to call these guys. They came on time, were friendly and efficient, done. That battery died four months later. Called them, they had all my info at the ready and got a tech out here the next day (I’d called late in the day). Same tech, Glenn, confirmed we needed a new battery and installed it right away. Pluses: easy process, honor the warranty, saved tow charges, good tech Negatives: you pay for the convenience and at home service.”

“Made an appointment for 8 am. They called me to let me know they’re having trouble finding one of the contractors in my area. I asked the woman if their contractors had experience with mini coopers. The man who installed my battery showed up at 7:30 pm and left three hours later. I saw on my cameras that he was watching how-to videos on how to change my car’s battery. It’s very difficult to even see the battery I my car. Mini coopers are packed tight under the hood. Trim needs to be removed there’s an arm in the way, etc. when he finally finished, he left. The next morning I found out that they did not register my battery. How I found out was while I was driving, I went to clean my windshield and the wipers malfunctioned. Because I used windshield wiper fluid, I could not see a thing. I ended up jumping the curb. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Now I’m left with a car that can’t drive and the closest mini dealer to register the battery is over an hour away. What a waste of money.”

“A technician from Maroons Roadside Assistance arrived in a short time after placing the order. He replaced a dead battery for a stranded car parked in the driveway. He was quick, capable, and very knowledgeable, a consummate professional. I was astonished how easily the replacement was performed at a total price (Battery + Installation) that compared to the cost of just buying a similar battery at NAPA Auto Parts.”

“After waiting 4 and a half hours, the driver never showed up. I never received a link to track the driver as promised and I never got a call explaining the delay. I eventually canceled and requested a refund.”

“Was surprised this kind of service even existed. Website recognized car via VIN and showed available batteries with INSTALLED cost. Reasonable. No one would touch a battery in the trunk of an Audi S5 that is under the spare tire. They brought the battery to my house and installed it with the car in my garage. Installer knew what to expect and was very methodical. Even has a phone app that shows where the guy doing the delivery is - in real time - and estimated time to arrive.”
