“Ordered a replacement within warranty as the first died in about 13 months. The technician came - told me it wasn't a battery issue and didn't replace. I therefore was charged the technician fee. Took the car to the dealership and had to pay another several hundred to determine: it was the battery that needed to be replaced.”

“Order number 100067 was installed in my car on Nov. 10, 2025. On Feb. 17, 2026, my car had a dead battery. On Feb 18, 2026, a very professional 1-800Battery.com tech replaced the battery, taking a photo with his cell phone of the battery tester showing the battery showed 2 volts. As the tech was removing the battery from my car I noticed a stricker on the battery indicating the battery was shipped in November 2024, a year before it was installed in my car. As is your procedure a credit card charge for $125.00 was made; however despite the cellphone photo of a defective battery - I was still charged the $125 - contrary to 1-800Battery.com's stated policy. Therefore I can not recommend 1-800Battery.com!”

“My order got misfiled and the tech did not show up at the appointment. I called and the company scheduled something for the next morning; I had to be somewhere but my wife met the tech. Installation looked good; battery tests good. Price is high, but installation is free—that's okay; there is no such thing as a free lunch, so all's well at this point.”

“This is a great service. My car battery was just completely dead in my driveway, and after unsuccessfully trying to jump it a couple times, I called for replacement. They came right out with the battery that I had chosen online, and put it in my car. It was so awesome not having to worry about towing the car to a shop and waiting for it to be replaced (and the shop always comes up with several other “problems” that they want to fix, so it ends up costing way more than I was prepared to pay). I love this battery service, thanks!”

“Installation Tech was to be here between 10am and 12 noon. Called office approx. 11am to check on something about the bill and was told the installer was finishing up some instruction, and may be a little late. At 1:29 I texted asking where he was and was told 45 minutes. Called again a little after 3 pm, was told driver was 7 minutes away from picking up the battery and then he was right down the road, 3:30 at the latest. Another text at 3:45, was told the driver would call. A text was received at 3:55 stating battery was on the way and should arrive in 3 minutes. Tech arrived at 4:00 pm., driver realized the battery he brought was too big for the space and left at 4:40 to get another battery. He was back by 5 pm, Driver offered no explanation except for traffic. There seems to be a breakdown in communication between the driver and the office staff. Also, your Installation Trucks look too much like Ambulances.”

“I ordered a battery They couldn’t find a tech to put it in Never called me to tell me that one week later they said they would refund me within 48 hours Today I called which is over 2 weeks later and was told I would receive within 5 days . I will never call them or refer them to anyone ever!”
