A bit expensive, but timely and hassle free. The tech that came was very friendly and obviously proficient. I'm 77 and messing around with a car battery is not in my wheelhouse any more. Excellent service.

I was waiting to write this review to see if they'd make it right, but alas. On January 27, 2025, I used 1-800-Battery to come out to my house and replace the battery in my PriusC. I've never had battery issues with this car before and it's also my first Prius. I was surprised to find, when the technician removed a piece of my back seat, that the battery was located there and not in the hood as it is with most cars. He put that piece on our lawn and then replaced the battery and was able to get the car to start, but there still seemed to be issues with the electrical so he advised I take the car in and he put all the pieces back and left. So I towed it to Toyota and, in the diagnostic process, told me that the back seat and anchors were broken and needed replacing. An $850 repair. I contacted 1-800-Battery and made a claim for that piece only (the other repairs to the electrical I was happy to pay) since their technician broke it. Thus ensued 6 weeks of back and forth. The technician claimed I had removed the seat already when he arrived (how would I have done that - not only did I not know HOW to do that, but I didn't know the battery would be in the back seat) and then later he claimed that I had loosened the anchors myself, both lies. When I finally got a manager at 1-800-Battery to talk to me, Macy, she told me that they were working with the technician's liability insurance, who is a contractor, to reimburse me, but it would take a while. Fine, so I wait. I call back several times to check on my claim and am constantly told that Macy is in a meeting or on the other line. Today, I received an email stating their support of the technician's claim that I broke the seat myself and they won't be covering that cost. So I suppose I'll need to go to small claim's court with my witness. The battery work was fine, but if they can't support their customers when their own technicians break a car part, then I wouldn't trust them at all, especially when I know they must be insured and their contractors must be insured to operate in Oregon.

I left my lights on overnight, and needed a jumpstart. Dealing with a person to make the appointment and pay by credit card was a breeze. The tech they sent, Joshua, was friendly, polite, and really knows his stuff. My battery was not cooperating, so he had to try at least four different things, but he got it done with no drama. 10 out of 10 would use these guys again, and since Phoenix is so hard on cars, I'll probably have to.

I came back from a trip and one of our cars wouldn't start. My options were to call to get a jump and then drive to an auto parts store to buy and instqall a new battery - or call 1-800-Battery and have them come to me. I placed the order with 1-800-Battery at 10:50am and at 12:50 the technician arrived with a new battery. Ten minutes laterm it was installed and the car was up and running. The technician was friendly and competent. Plus they take the old battery and recycle it.

The tech who installed my battery called to see if I wanted the work done earlier - which I did - and arrived as promised and fully prepared to do the installation quickly - less than 30 minutes - and professionally. Along the way he educated me on a couple of key points - like where the battery actually is! I have had this car 12 years and always thought it was up from! Not so.

When you send your child off to college and something goes wrong, you feel helpless. My daughter’s car was in need of a new battery and hers was so bad, she couldn’t drive to get a new one installed. I found this company online and was so happy to get this scheduled and completed. The only complaint I have was the misleading prices. I had picked a battery online and paid for it. I called before I clicked submit on my purchase to ensure I was doing it correctly and ensure the timeline fit my daughter’s schedule. After submitting payment, I received a call back stating I did not pay for install which was double my initial payment. I felt stuck and made the additional payment they requested. Once billing was taken care of, everything went smoothly. Jake was out delivery and installation specialist and he was kind, knowledgeable, and friendly to my daughter. I stayed on the phone with my daughter to ensure her safety, and Jake was professional who quickly got the job done! I would recommend him to anyone. I would tell all to watch closely to what they are paying for so they aren’t surprised when additional payment was necessary. Jake was fantastic and made up for the billing error!

Had a very good experience, the technician who came out to replace my battery was so sufficient ,kind and explained a lot to me about the process , his name is Damon Gilliland .The people who answered the phones and scheduled my appointment were also nice , I recommend 1800 Battery and will definitely refer other people like me to them. Who have health issues and hard to travel it was worth the money and the phone call
