Ordered a car battery online with installation. 5 hours later, still no battery or email. Been on hold for an hour, while also no response on their chat feature.

So...it's been over 24 hours. No one ever contacted me or showed up to change my battery. I finally canceled my order after having to jump start my car for the 2nd day in a row. And haven't been issued any type of refund as of yet. Or have anyone reach out to ask me about me canceling.

Disabled customer unable to stand without a walker waited 7 hours outdoors in the hot sun for tech to appear, finally had to return to hospital where I have been inpatient for over 2 months following spinal surgery and make another appointment for the next day. Tech showed up on time and was supposed to already have the battery. He did not and had to leave and get the battery. 90 minutes later with me again waiting outdoors in even hotter sun he came back and began install. During process he actually DROPPED the battery! I told him that I did not think it would be a good idea to put that battery in my car and requested he go get another one. He told me that there was nothing wrong with the battery and he told me I certainly had the right to do so, but that if I did that it would not be him coming back to do it and I would have to reschedule for the next day. Fuming under the collar and faced with little choice in the matter I told him to go ahead with the install but to make a notation that the battery had been dropped. Car started when battery installed and I returned to the hospital. I then called to check he had made a notation that the battery had been dropped. He had not done so and the phone agent said he was unable to annotate a completed order and that I will have to call back Monday and speak to a supervisor. I will indeed follow up and do so. I think that GIVEN ALL THESE ISSUES AND HAVING TO SPEND A HUNDRED BUCKS TO GET THIS DONE THAT I SHOULD BE REFUNDED THE MONEY I HAD TO PAY!! I am going to ask the supervisor to do this but hold out little hope for that happening. I AM ONE VERY DISSATISFIED AND UNHAPPY CUSTOMER AT THIS POINT IN TIME!!!

It's obvious this company does not read or listen to its voicemail or read its texts. I purchased a battery with installation the technician came to install the battery and had the wrong battery he didn't know how to install that one they could not send a technician that knew how to put the right battery in and told me they would refund my money. Instead they posted it to my credit card, left me on hold for 40 minutes, I left my phone number instead of having to wait online another 40 minutes to no response. Do not waste your time with this company they are seemingly not very legitimate. My review in "Stars" IS ZERO" and now I have to waste part of my day tomorrow filing a dispute with my credit card company. If I were you I'd stay far away.

Scam company - bogus website. Rated an F on the BBB. There is no way to contact this company to cancel your order, get your money back or get a refund. The chat feature on the website does not work - no one ever responds. Their 1-800 customer service number is fake too. No one. We comes on the line to help you. If you use the text feature, no one ever responds to your texts either. If you try to set up an online account or reset your password, guess what? That doesn’t work either. Stay VERY FAR AWAY from this sight. You will not receive the service or product and they will steal your money. I never received my battery and the tech never showed up.

1 year ago had a new battery installed. Repairman arrived with no tools, used the few I had out on my workbench. I was not home. No electrical check. Really low budget for such a high price. Today I had to have that 1 year old battery repaired as the positive post became overly corroded. 1800Battery wanted too much to repair or replace even though I had a 3 year warranty battery. I went to Firestone for less than half the price. I would not recommend this company.

Awful company and service. I contacted a battery replacement for 3-5pm and they couldn’t find a technician at all. I don’t need to explain all the headache this will cause me.

The battery "warehouse" arbitrarily substituted the battery with one that did not fit our vehicle Required an extended amount of time for the tech to obtain approval to exchange the substituted battery for the CORRECT one Installation was performed incorrectly. Although the car would start, the check engine light was now on and would not reset. Additional and expense incurred to have the diagnostics performed that confirmed several wires were either not connected or incorrectly connected causing the check engine light to remain on. 1800Battery takes advantage of people in a predicament with few options by charging significant fees but performing sub-standard (at best) service. While we appreciate the time and patience of the tech, his inability to install the battery properly could have had significant consequences in addition to the added expense to correct his work. SHAME ON 1800Battery!

This was not the best process. I placed an order for a battery by VIN lookup. At the completion the status updated to sent to fulfillment. Nothing on the site let me know that the facility was closed and the order will be filled in the morning when they open. I was at work, and waited. Then I called when it was getting close to closing, I was on hold for 17 minutes. I then initiated a text conversation. I then received a text notifying me that I reached the business after hours. Also, that dispatch can take up to a few hours and the battery could be dispatched without the tech. I then put in the notes that I was going to try to get home, and would need the battery and installation at my home. The following morning I received an email update that the battery was dispatched. I called the dispatch center to make sure that the battery was coming to my home. The rep told me that even though I ordered the battery with a VIN lookup it was wrong. And told me the replacement. So the initial battery was canceled. There were several mishaps here to an already stressful experience. Please update your prompts on text and ordering site. Technically I would still be at my job waiting for the battery.

Your installer just left my driveway a short time ago. Before he left I advised him that I would be contacting you in the following regard. My vehicle is a 2021 Ford Explorer. When I first purchased it and looked under the hood I was shocked that I did not see a battery. So, doing what I do best, I googled the subject and discovered it was enclosed by the firewall. I had more recently considered replacing the battery myself and had seen numerous videos on the subject. I elected to change it now because the vehicle was starting to have some electrical anomalies. I contacted 1-800 Battery because I had had a good experience several years ago (previous vehicle). When your installer arrived I already had the hood up. Apparently he did not see a battery so he stood by the tailgate and asked me if the battery was in the back. From there, I’ll cut to the chase. Basically, I became the installer’s second set of hands and nothing I’ve seen on the videos say it’s a two person job. I held the hood up, fully extended, for an ungodly amount of time and at first was holding both the hood and the top of the enclosure. When I raised my concern they issued me a mere $20 credit. At a bare minimum the entire installation part should have been refunded. My explorer and I provided the guy with On The Job Training.

The mechanic was nice, but he didn't reconnect my alternator properly. I took my car to jiffy lube, where they informed me that if it had stayed disconnected, it could have blown up. I paid nearly 500 dollars to have my life put at risk.

I placed an online order for a battery to get installed in my 1991 Mercedes Benz 420SEL, I scheduled the install but no one ever showed up to install the battery, approximately 4 hours after the scheduled install, I cancelled the order. Terrible customer service experience and totally a waste of time, would never recommend!

Worst experience ever. My appointment was at 10AM. It is 5 hours later and still no service. I have called multiple times and I keep being told “technician will call you, they will be there in 30”, which was clearly a lie. Do not ever use this service.

I was supposed to receive my battery on July 14, 2025, within two hours, but I never received it. I called and they rescheduled for my battery to be delivered on July 15, 2025, between 9 AM and 11 AM, but that did not happen either. I called again this morning at 10:30 AM since I did not hear from the driver. I was told that they only have one driver. I'm very, very disappointed and will never use your company again.
