I ordered a battery They couldn’t find a tech to put it in Never called me to tell me that one week later they said they would refund me within 48 hours Today I called which is over 2 weeks later and was told I would receive within 5 days . I will never call them or refer them to anyone ever!

BMW new battery installment needs battery registration to the car computer and reset it. CarBattery didn't provide registration service, which I need to pay extra for other service providers. The web page or any instruction didn't mention about it. I found that the battery could be much cheaper in other vendors from internet. I believed that the battery installment would be done with a professional with proper equipment and knowledge. I am deeply disappointed that they haven't fully finished the installment and didn't let me know about it with comparably higher price. It was my mistake to take this vendor.

I would not recommend using this company. They are unprepared or unwilling to stand by their installation process when something goes wrong. In my case an unknown mistake by the installer caused failure of the main fuse on my 2017 VW Beetle. As a result the power steering wouldn’t work and the car had to be towed to the dealership. Further, review found the AC system was also not working due to failure of the alternator to properly provide power to the battery. The dealership documented their findings in writing and I provided that information as well as contact information to 1800battery advising them to contact dealer directly for confirmation. That was never done by battery company. Beware of this company.

When you enter the CORRECT information for a replacement part on a company's website, you expect to get options that match what you entered. You then purchase a part that matches what you are looking for, including the warranty you want. What you don't expect is to be called, on the day of the install, to be told that the website is "confusioning" and "they have been trying to get it fixed" and the battery I purchased (again, one of the ones that was recommended to me) was not the correct battery and I would need to pay another $140 for the right one. When I expressed my frustration on the switch, the response was a half-hearted apology informing me that they understand how the website is confusing to the "untrained eye". So either it is a deceptive website or the target audience is for only trained individuals.

They cannot reset the computer on VW Tiguan as they said they could. Car starts but I have 6 error messages for all of the safety assists that will not come on. Customer service said I would need to take it to a garage to re register the vehicle.

I placed my order at 10:36 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. The last update I received was at 12:00, stating 'waiting on dispatch.' Dispatch was never completed. I made a call to customer service and used the chat. They reminded me that they're still working on dispatch calling again number 5 and were told that dispatches are done for today just a lack of communication and follow-through made a very very frustrating process I'm so at this time I would not recommend it.

We woke up to a dead car battery as we were heading out of town on a 17 hour drive. We needed the battery right away and requested 1 be delivered that morning. Long story short - the battery didnt get to us until 8:00 PM!! All day long we got updates saying it would be there in an hour, then another hour, then another hour. If we'd known it was going to take that long we would have made arrangements to get a ride to the battery store and pick 1 up ourselves. In addition, the technician initially installed the battery backwards, and then installed the bracket incorrecty until my husband pointed out that it was wrong. We will never use this service again and I am telling everyone I know not to use them either!

I’ll never do business with 1-800-battery again. Battery died 4 months after install while getting an oil change. Tech dispatched refused to replace because the shop doing the oil change took the battery out after testing it and finding it was dead. They also charged me $125 to come out and not touching a thing. 1-800-battery doesn’t care about the customer. Total cost to me, $350 for battery that lasted 4 months and $125 to To come out and do nothing because a service tech took out the dead battery. Would have given 0 stars if able .

It was my first time using your service and it was a mess. I spoke to your dispatcher and she got everything wrong. I specifically said I wanted the battery to be changed on 2/21/26 she sends guy out for 2/20/26 to the wrong address! Then I called her back and told her she has down the wrong address and she said she will change it. So 2/21/26 your battery will be there 10am-12 noon the guy didn’t show up. So I called at 1:30pm to see if there was an issue. By the way it was the same dispatcher. She said she will call me back with an update. Very obviously no update. When the driver text me he was at the wrong address which was in the other side of the town. Salvatore had to come over and showed up at 6:06 pm. Your dispatcher also never corrected the address so he was at the wrong location. But Salvatore did make it to help me. I thank him. In the other hand your dispatcher is definitely not all there with your company!

I ordered brake pads and rotors but never got the rotors. The status said delivered but we only received the small box of brakes. Of course they had to investigate and found that the rotors were never shipped. At his point I requested a refund. 1 monrh later I get a text that the order status had been changed to completed. Etc....

So the actual removal and installation of the battery was fine, except that it almost didn't fit my car. My issues are with the communication between me and the phone reps. I scheduled my battery on 2/4/2026, set as urgent as per phone rep, and they estimated an ETA of before noon on 2/5/2026. By 11a had been assigned. Around noon, I saw the drivers ping had been stopped about 30 mins away from my vehicle. Called and spoke to a rep who attempted to reach the driver and estimated 90min. 2pm, driver ping still in same spot. Called and spoke to rep, they attempted to call driver again, and again they said 90 min. Called back at 4p since driver ping was still in the same spot. Rep attempted to reach out to driver and again said 90min. 5p still no movement, another call resulted in "90min". Even though the job was assigned at 11a, the driver did not show up until almost 7p, then kept commenting how quickly this is going to be done. Then said they may have grabbed the wrong battery and that the warehouse is now closed. Luckily it ended up fitting and the replacement was complete but the urgency was definitely not there and I got absolutely no information besides the standard reply of "90min". Very unprofessional in my opinion and the communication from you to customer needs to be addressed. Hard to say if I'd use your service in the future.

I am extremely irritated and disappointed in this service. From the malfunctioning website experience, to the poor communication about when the technician would arrive, and the subpar assistance on site, I was billed $125 for an inaccurate service and no battery. The technician was under the influence of a substance that made it difficult to communicate and appeared to hinder his ability to do his job - he forgot the location of my keys, which turned out to be in the ignition, and was unable to shut my hood at the conclusion of troubleshooting. He did not introduce himself or show any form of identification, nor did he have any distinguishing clothing or marks on his vehicle that would indicate his employer. He appeared disheveled and confused. He also assured I would not be charged as he recommended I did not need a battery, yet I was charged. My primary complaint about my experience was that it was a complete waste of time and money. Less than 24-hours after the 1-800-Battery technician told me my battery was fine and said that was not the problem, and did not provide the new battery that I paid for, I had my car towed to a shop where the mechanic measured the voltage at 4v, far below the 12v that it should have been. Not only did I have to find a mechanic, pay and coordinate a tow, but then I learned it was the exact same service the 1-800-battery mechanic could have done? There is no excuse or explanation for this failure. It was a waste of everyone’s time and money.

Battery was not able to be replaced because my trunk wouldn't open and actually broke the latch in the attempt to open it. Only received a partial refund, so i paid $150 for a jump. Would not recommend

Still have not received battery or update on installation date. In the absence of any updates I will have no option but to cancel the order. Customer service is really pathetic.

Nobody showed up for the car battery installation I paid for , still waiting for almost 24 hours now . The prices are a bit overpriced for the batteries, but I was ok with that because of the convience, but now I see it hasn't been convient for me. I'm sitting here stuck . A discount would be nice for my inconvenience
