Placed an order on Sunday. Was told by customer service that a mechanic would pick up my car battery that day and replace it on Monday, which I was grateful for given that it was a holiday weekend. Received no other updates. Nobody contacted me or did the service on Monday. Now, I’m trying to get information from customer service on when a mechanic will actually arrive. I have already paid for the battery and service. Very disappointed at the lack of communication and honesty from this company.

My app't was for 8-10 on Friday. I had an important meeting at 12:00. Tech arrived at 12:15. That was inexcusable. Why set a time when it means nothing? It ruined my whole day, and I completely missed the important meeting. I will not use or recommend this service. Period.

Had to cancel my order as no one showed up at the scheduled time as confirmed when I made the order. Took a morning off work to wait for the delivery and installation, but no one showed up. Truly terrible customer service.

I was waiting to write this review to see if they'd make it right, but alas. On January 27, 2025, I used 1-800-Battery to come out to my house and replace the battery in my PriusC. I've never had battery issues with this car before and it's also my first Prius. I was surprised to find, when the technician removed a piece of my back seat, that the battery was located there and not in the hood as it is with most cars. He put that piece on our lawn and then replaced the battery and was able to get the car to start, but there still seemed to be issues with the electrical so he advised I take the car in and he put all the pieces back and left. So I towed it to Toyota and, in the diagnostic process, told me that the back seat and anchors were broken and needed replacing. An $850 repair. I contacted 1-800-Battery and made a claim for that piece only (the other repairs to the electrical I was happy to pay) since their technician broke it. Thus ensued 6 weeks of back and forth. The technician claimed I had removed the seat already when he arrived (how would I have done that - not only did I not know HOW to do that, but I didn't know the battery would be in the back seat) and then later he claimed that I had loosened the anchors myself, both lies. When I finally got a manager at 1-800-Battery to talk to me, Macy, she told me that they were working with the technician's liability insurance, who is a contractor, to reimburse me, but it would take a while. Fine, so I wait. I call back several times to check on my claim and am constantly told that Macy is in a meeting or on the other line. Today, I received an email stating their support of the technician's claim that I broke the seat myself and they won't be covering that cost. So I suppose I'll need to go to small claim's court with my witness. The battery work was fine, but if they can't support their customers when their own technicians break a car part, then I wouldn't trust them at all, especially when I know they must be insured and their contractors must be insured to operate in Oregon.

Shady company that trying to scam customers. Delivered battery was lower specifications than ordered originally. They didn’t call or notify that ordered battery was not available but ordered different battery. Customer service representative tried to claim that new battery is better quality, but it was clearly not.

Watch out for this business...my service was prompt and convenient but the battery failed after only 4 months and there warranty is awful. You cant have your car repaired, have to keep the battery in for the technician to check and they charge you another $125.

If I could give a zero I would. It took 4 days to replace. Appointments were missed and left my disabled patient stuck without transportatation. Once I got a person on the phone, he provided his best empathetic customer service so thare is that.

Installer was very friendly, but not very experienced, and ended up blowing out the instrument panel fuses in the process. He also had no knowledge of registering the battery, which is requred on BMWs. He called his supervisor and was told 'We don't do that'. Had to pay a local shop to get the car fixed and back up and running. Would not recommend.

I paid for a platinum AGM battery. The tech showed up late and without the proper tools. He caused some damage to the positive terminal. Then he produced a gold level lead acid battery and insisted it was correct. A text conversation with customer service established that the battery I ordered was apparently out of stock and they sent a lesser model. There was no notification of this before changing the order. Further, the cost for this battery was over $100.00 less than what I was charged and I have not been refunded. This was a terrible experience and I seem to be out over $100.00

I wouldn't wish this company on my worst enemy . The technician called me before they even came and began harassing me for a tip. I refused and the technician continued harassing, saying "come on man, $10, $20 dollars!" I contacted customer service because I did not want this person coming to my house after this interaction, and was told that was their only tech, so I requested to cancel. After cancelling, I was told that I would be charged $125 for the tech being dispatched, and they would investigate the matter with their escalation team, as their tech said I was lying. Of course he was going to say that, because he was breaking their policy. The manager on duty I spoke to was empathetic, but it's absurd that a manger cannot cancel a charge for a cancellation due to their employee's inappropriate conduct.

Do not use this company. They currently owe me two refunds and have stopped responding to my messages. Every battery I’ve received from them has lasted less than two years! Spend your money elsewhere!

I called at 11am, was told it would take 2-3 hours they were a like busy. So after 4 hours I started calling.back. Was told it was coming. I called at least 6 after 3pm. So at 7 I asked for a refund, was told he was 2 hours away from me and I was next. Driver arrived at 9:15 that night.

I went out to start my car on 1/21/25 and the battery passed away. While I was looking for what a new battery would cost I noticed 1-800-Battery and their claim that they would come out and install the new battery. As an elderly person I was happy to see that someone would do such a thing. I booked the service online and was told it would take two hours to accomplish. That didn't happen. I chatted online and was told they were slammed and they gave me a new appointment window for the following day (1/22/25). The window passed without the service happening. I called them and was told that they can't find a tech in the area to do the work. I waited until today (1/23/25) and when nobody arrived to do the work I paid for three DAYS earlier, I canceled my order. I contracted another company and my battery was replaced within a couple of hours at a price slightly less than 1-800-Battery was going to charge. Don't trust these people.
