So the actual removal and installation of the battery was fine, except that it almost didn't fit my car. My issues are with the communication between me and the phone reps. I scheduled my battery on 2/4/2026, set as urgent as per phone rep, and they estimated an ETA of before noon on 2/5/2026. By 11a had been assigned. Around noon, I saw the drivers ping had been stopped about 30 mins away from my vehicle. Called and spoke to a rep who attempted to reach the driver and estimated 90min. 2pm, driver ping still in same spot. Called and spoke to rep, they attempted to call driver again, and again they said 90 min. Called back at 4p since driver ping was still in the same spot. Rep attempted to reach out to driver and again said 90min. 5p still no movement, another call resulted in "90min". Even though the job was assigned at 11a, the driver did not show up until almost 7p, then kept commenting how quickly this is going to be done. Then said they may have grabbed the wrong battery and that the warehouse is now closed. Luckily it ended up fitting and the replacement was complete but the urgency was definitely not there and I got absolutely no information besides the standard reply of "90min". Very unprofessional in my opinion and the communication from you to customer needs to be addressed. Hard to say if I'd use your service in the future.

I am extremely irritated and disappointed in this service. From the malfunctioning website experience, to the poor communication about when the technician would arrive, and the subpar assistance on site, I was billed $125 for an inaccurate service and no battery. The technician was under the influence of a substance that made it difficult to communicate and appeared to hinder his ability to do his job - he forgot the location of my keys, which turned out to be in the ignition, and was unable to shut my hood at the conclusion of troubleshooting. He did not introduce himself or show any form of identification, nor did he have any distinguishing clothing or marks on his vehicle that would indicate his employer. He appeared disheveled and confused. He also assured I would not be charged as he recommended I did not need a battery, yet I was charged. My primary complaint about my experience was that it was a complete waste of time and money. Less than 24-hours after the 1-800-Battery technician told me my battery was fine and said that was not the problem, and did not provide the new battery that I paid for, I had my car towed to a shop where the mechanic measured the voltage at 4v, far below the 12v that it should have been. Not only did I have to find a mechanic, pay and coordinate a tow, but then I learned it was the exact same service the 1-800-battery mechanic could have done? There is no excuse or explanation for this failure. It was a waste of everyone’s time and money.

Battery was not able to be replaced because my trunk wouldn't open and actually broke the latch in the attempt to open it. Only received a partial refund, so i paid $150 for a jump. Would not recommend

Still have not received battery or update on installation date. In the absence of any updates I will have no option but to cancel the order. Customer service is really pathetic.

Nobody showed up for the car battery installation I paid for , still waiting for almost 24 hours now . The prices are a bit overpriced for the batteries, but I was ok with that because of the convience, but now I see it hasn't been convient for me. I'm sitting here stuck . A discount would be nice for my inconvenience

I placed an order that was supposed to be done within 2 hours. After 3 hours and almost sunset, an attempt through chat to get an update or help that blew me off,, waiting on the phone for over 15 minutes for help and there was no answer, an unanswered text, and after leaving a voicemail with no return call back, I had no choice but to cancel my order. I had a bad experience that wasted my time in an emergency situation.

I called 1-800-battery to have the dead battery in my vehicle changed in my driveway. The tech was very professional and capable however the company had delivered the wrong battery. I understand mistakes are made but this tech called the office and was put on hold for nearly 30 minutes. He said he would try and resolve it and left. Subsequently I called the office and after explaining the situation I was put on hold for 22 minutes until the line disconnected! I called back and was disconnected again. I called once more and connected with the same woman as earlier. She explained that the company was having some trouble exchanging the wrong battery for the right one at the warehouse and therefore could not get the right battery. When I explained that this was not my mistake and therefore not my problem and could she just have someone delivery and install the right battery… I was told that they could not because they couldn’t exchange the wrong one for the right one. So my vehicle battery compartment is in my driveway dismantled by your company and because you made a mistake I was told you could not come and install the right battery!!! Absurd. The woman then became rude because I asked for a refund. When I tried to work it out once more and ask that they deliver the right battery as a last ditch effort I was told “you already told me you don’t want to do business with us”. So I asked for the refund because it was easier than continuing with this nonsensical conversation. You made your problem mine instead of fixing the problem I paid you for. I expect a full refund of the $478+ paid to you. Subsequently I purchased a battery at oreilly auto and installed myself. 1-800-battery could do better!

Terrible experience. Battery installed 3 days after appt with ZERO proactive communication. Had to hound them by text and only got the battery installed after asking for refund. Tech was not professional or knowledgeable. Did not do BMS reset after we specifically asked for it, resulting in a myriad of electrical issues, including loss of heater mid winter in freezing temps. Zero stars is not low enough. Will post this review far and wide.

Booked a mobile battery replacement expecting fast service. Received a “driver assigned” notice but never got a call, text, tracking link, or ETA. Customer service couldn’t locate the driver or provide timing. After waiting several hours, I had to cancel. If you need reliable timing or clear communication, I’d look elsewhere.

Technicians are fine. Company is horrible. Same experience as others. Lied to about wait times. Long story short, plan on over 24 hours when told “the technician is headed your way”. Find a good mobile mechanic and bypass this company.

I guess you didn't read the note I sent along with the cancellation of my order. I am very disappointed by your company's lack of service. I requested a service appointment yesterday, Sunday, between noon and 2:00, and no one ever showed up. I called customer service and never got a call back. I texted, only to find out you guys don't work on weekends. Seems very deceptive. I was willing to pay the very high installation fee for the convenience of having your technician come to take care of this at my house, but it was anything but convenient....it was nothing at all. I may be willing to reorder if you promise someone would come out this morning and give me a meaningful discount off the price....otherwise goodbye and good luck.

Horrible experience. Ordered battery delivery installation. Order window 1000-1200. At 1030 status changed saying assigned a driver. Sat with this status for hours. Customer service claims they cannot get a hold of the driver and won't reassign the order. Still sitting here hours later and no movement. Just stalling tactics from the customer service person "Waiting for my supervisor" "Driver will be there soon." "he's responded 45 minutes (hours later.......)

Unfortunately, I placed an order yesterday for a much needed replacement battery to be delivered yesterday afternoon. On your website, I paid to have it delivered and chose a delivery window between 12pm and 2pm CT. I then got a notification is was out for delivery around 12:30pm. I waited until 4:30pm and tried to use your website's chat function, but no one responded. I then called Customer Service and the gentlemen told me that, unfortunately, that battery was not in stock and would be available until Monday. In short, your site didn't tell me it wasn't in stock and in fact showed me it was on the way, and NO ONE contacted me to let me know if was not coming, so I waited all day for something that was never going to arrive...beyond frustrating, and I highly doubt I will ever use your company for a future purhase.

The worst service you can get! I called at 2pm and placed an order for a battery. Mine died, car didn’t make a sound, went through the process and made them aware I was stranded! They processed my request told me I was a priority. Two hours passed no one came, I was told they don’t have a technician in my area. Seriously, 2026 Nashua - southern NH. I asked if I should go with another company was told no they where getting someone, at 6pm the information went quiet and I was texted they could help me until the next day. The worst experience they actually market they can help you anywhere, not the case southern NH is out. Go somewhere else AAA did the same service for less and responded asap with a new battery and were super heroes!

Terrible experience! The service provider arrive 2 hours late. It took him 1 hour to replace the battery. I was late to my appointment due to the delays. After the battery was replaced, now my car is showing a check battery light and I get a warning that the charging system needs to be checked. I will not use your service again. Waste of time and money.
