Back in August my car's battery died and I called 1-800-Battery. A young man came to my condo and changed the battery out. Everything worked fine the next day but the day after the car was totally dead. I had it towed to my Lexus dealer and was told by them that the battery would not hold a charge. I called your company and was told that a tech person would go out and check the battery. But they would charge me $105 if the battery was ok, but if the battery needed to be replaced there would be no charge. The next day I was called by the Lexus dealer and was told the that the tech person from your company had replaced the battery and the car was ready to be picked up. Today I got my credit card statement and the charge $105.44 was on there. I want the charged reversed since I was told it wouldn't be on there in the first place. Thank you, Mark Wilson

They can’t get their days that they are open correct. I made an appointment for Sept. 4, Labor Day online. After paying and receiving a confirmation that I had scheduled an appointment, I then received an email saying the warehouse was closed. I tried contacting customer service through a phone call, chat, text message and a voicemail. My appointment time came and went. In ALL of the ways to communicate that you would be closed, it was not done. After calling again on Tuesday, I finally got ahold of a live agent, and I requested an appointment for 3 PM that day, because I was at work and my car’s dead battery was sitting in my driveway and I needed to get home at a specific time. Imagine my surprise when I received a call at 1 :20 PM that a technician was at my house. I spoke with him and explained the situation, and gave him the code to the keyless entry. He assured me that I did not need to be there and that he would send pictures through the app. I went to check back later and I saw a message that the service was not completed. So I then had to call yet again, and where I learned that it was because HE DIDN’T HAVE A BATTERY. At this point , I had to leave work to get home at rush hour, so that I could head back to work at rush hour. I scheduled my work and paid for extra childcare because I thought that I would have this done on Monday and would be able to stay on Tuesday. If I had known that, I would have not spent the extra money and done things differently. The biggest being that I would have not used this service. I hope that I see a partial refund hit my checking account, but given the lack of customer service and attention to basic open hours I have experienced I don’t think that it will be forth coming.

Called and scheduled for Monday 8-10 a.m. Teceived a text message Monday morning saying that the tech could not come until after 5. Called at 6 to see status. They had not heard from the tech, he wasn’t responding. They didn’t know when he would be available. I scrambled to make other arrangements, and advised that I wanted to cancel my order. At 9:30 received a call from the tech wanting to come a little later that night.

I called, set up the appointment and waited. No one showed so I called to cancel. I said the person didn't come and no one texted or called to let me know they were going to be late. That's what was worse. A quick note like i am running 30 minutes late but noting.

I needed a new car battery straight away. I called 1-800-Battery because you guaranteed that you would deliver the battery AND install the same. The cost of the battery was ~$100 more than I could buy from AutoZone or Advance Auto, but I was willing to pay for installation and quick service because I needed to get on the road. The battery was delivered, but the person responsible for installation never arrived. So, I installed the battery myself. I called you and you gave me a $99 refund, which is OK. However, I now have a dead battery in my garage that I don't know what to do with. I expected service from you. You 100% failed to deliver. I'll wait to hear from you, but will soon post a negative review of your service.

We bought the gold battery with 36 months warranty, 850 CCA and they gave us a battery with 24 months warranty 750 CCA, that is, different specifications. They said 2 hours to arrive and it took 6 hours. I do not recommend it at all.

Scheduled a service and paid for battery. No one showed up in the window and in doing a chat was told that it might still be done. Later it was stated that it would be the next day. When I checked that morning was told it was a tech problem. I think it was just a run-a-round. Save your frustration level, don't schedule a service or pay for a battery. Find someone different to do the work. Too bad that they can't fulfill the service as scheduled.

Battery Replacement and installation appointment was scheduled several days in advance. On the date of service appointment, no update, no confirmation, after over 3 hours of waiting, texted customer service, then was told the technical personnel is not available, and will need to wait another 3-4 hours for service. Thank God I did not brokedown on the Side of the road waiting for rescue. In 80 degree heat such service is truly unprofessional and unacceptable. No customer service follow up…NOTHING!!!

After being told they had the ability to program the new battery to my Jeep, they showed up and then told me they didn't have the OBD II device required (not the techs fault). So he left. I then called and requested a refund and was told I would get a refund confirmation in a few minutes but never received it. I then called two days later and they had no record of the refund, but said they would process it less battery testing and battery jumping fees....which they never performed and I told them so. Promised they would send me a refund email which 2 days later I still haven't received. Had to finally reverse the charges on my credit card. This is not an ethical business. I would advise you avoid them at all costs.

Awful experience and they never gave me a battery and took my money anyway. Initially everything was fine. Service seemed like it would go quick but after waiting 2 hours over the scheduled appointment time and with no word from them, I called and was told the technician wouldn’t be able to make it until the next day. That was fine. The next day rolls around and they tell me I owe them $130 extra for the battery bc I purchased the wrong type for my car initially (I used their system to determine which battery I needed before purchase so idk how that was my fault but ok.) I paid and then after waiting the whole day again they tell me the technician will not come again. Then I was told that they were going to cancel my service (they didn’t try to reschedule they just decided I didn’t need assistance anymore) They said they couldn’t help me and that they would refund me. They refunded the first portion but never gave me back my $130. I’ve contact customer service but they’ve only said they’ll look into it and I haven’t heard from them since despite multiple emails. 100% a scam. They shouldn’t be allowed to run a business. I’m working with my bank to try to resolve this issue now.

The technician who came to test my battery to determine if it was bad was incredibly rude. He would not listen to anything I said and his “test” of the battery was to open the hood and look at it. He didn’t use any equipment that would give him a reading of the battery. He then told me to call customer care and left. I then called customer care who told me they would send someone else out later that night. No one ever came. Now I still have a bad battery and I’m out even more money since I had to pay the fee for the tech to come look at the battery. I feel like I’ve been scammed.

I had made a purchase on June 26, which I canceled it soon after, as my neighbor said he would take care of my problem. I have called 3 times, and keep getting the "it will take 7 to 10 days to get my refund" each phone call. I paid over 300.00, and it seems as though they are keeping my money. Will have to hire an attorney to recoup my money.

Customers beware I’m posting this follow up after a review I posted 4 days ago about my awful experience with this company. They are ignoring me …Their tech did not test my existing battery and installed the new one which was not the issue with my car , so new battery did not start my car at all. Have to tow my car now to get the right diagnostics for it. 280.50 cents for nothing. Called my CCcompany and BBB.tech did not know what he was doing…

The installer sent an email saying he was 10 mins away. 2 hrs later he showed up. Installed the batteries then closed the hood and proceeded to drag the old battery across the hood. Big scratches across my hood. This Jeep had NO SCRATCHES before this. I will absolutely not recommend this service if this is the type of care they display for a customer’s vehicle. I will be posting reviews online about my experience.
