I paid for a specific battery and the one that was installed was not that battery that I paid for, but a cheaper one. I called customer service right after the mechanic left and he said he could not help me or put me on the phone with someone who could help. He gave me their generic email address and said to email my complaint there. I've now emailed twice in 5 days and haven't had a response. They obviously don't care about their customers.

The person who actually came by and installed the new battery was terrific. The interaction with the online person @ 1-800-Battery was abysmal, at best. He was rude, aloof, did not answer questions, and made me question my choice to use them.

This has been an awful experience, the work was not completed correctly, we were misinformed by the technician. And now we are told we have to take the car to another shop to have the work completed correctly, presumably at our own cost.

Lack of communication. no follow up. Window time was inaccurate due to company adding a job at the last minute bumping my pre scheduled time 2 hours later without any notification. No return call or response to chat message to let me know .

Ordered battery and did not show for appointment, made another for later in the day, no show agian. Next day they were late over an hour, when "technician" arrived he had no idea how to replace a BMW battery, mangled a bracket and pulled wires to get in in. Car is at BMW being repaired. Very bad experience.

The tech was over 24 hours late from what I was originally quoted by their site. No one called me to let me know they would be late, I had to reach out to them and ask where the tech was only to be told they would not arrive until the following day. This forced me to use vacation time from work as I was left stranded unexpectedly. The next day the tech was an hour late past the install window I was given, at which point I did not believe they would be coming at all so I pulled my battery on my own using the wrong tools I had available and planned to walk it several miles to an auto store. Tech arrived right as I was getting ready to leave. He did not have the same battery that I ordered but he at least did install it. 1800Battery offered me a discount for all the trouble, but then refused to discount me more than $10. A complete joke, I would only recommend them to my enemies.

Set up an appointment a week early.Call to confirm the mornin g of and was told I'm next ,that was around 9AM for a 10-12 slot.Nothing until I call at 1 o'clock-claims a tech didn't show up.At 3:18 i was texted that it will be there in 60 minutes-I was next..At 4:52 I again texted them and was informed it was going 42 more minutes.I finally had a tech arrive at 6PM-wasted a whole day.I have no problem with the tech Claudio but the communication was atrocious.

I had a car battery installed at my home in Jan'24 by this company at a cost of $378. Then, in June'24, the auto for which this baterry was installed, died. The AAA rep said the battery cables were loose. I then had to spend a good portion of a work day dealing with this, because, the auto's diagnostics had to be reset by a mechanic, at a cost of $163. I recently spoke with 800Battery regarding this issue, and, they have refused to reimburse me the $163. Their position is that "anything could have happened in the 6 months to cause this", wow, I am very surpised at this and will not give future business to this company.

I elected to go through this company as I really needed someone to install my battery. Wen through the process and when the battery arrived I reached out about scheduling my install. I was advised then that I had only purchased the battery. Everything through the process says the price includes delivery and installation, even their FAQ's. Apparently my area doesn't have a tech for install. So I ask about returning the battery...now I have to drive to their location between their hours of 8-5p, which happen to be my hours so I'll have to take time off of work to return it. Just be aware of what you are buying and getting. It's not a convenient process.

This company is very deceptive. They sold me what I thought was a quality battery based on the price but once I received my invoice I discovered that the battery was cheap 125.00 but I was charged $200 to come and change the battery out. I was not told any of this by the agent on the phone. This is not an honest company and I will warn as many people as possible about these disreputable practices.

A young gentleman came out and didn’t check the battery that was in car. I was leaving for a trip thst day and thought that was it. At my travel destination the next day car was dead. Apparently it wasn’t the battery. We probably paid 300.00 for a battery replacement that wasn’t needed. My problem with this service is that you better be sure it’s the battery!

The guy said he was done and tried to put the battery cover back on under the seat without clapping the battery down, I ended up having to do it myself..

Delivery/Installation on time and well done. Sales process reminded me of "Bait and Switch". Offered me two batteries suited to my vehicle based on license plate. Its a KIA. I chose the cehaper of the two offers (non-AMG battery. About an hour later recived a call saying KIA woud not allow non-AMG battery to be installed and I had to $120 more for a suitable AMG battery. I paid a total nearing $500. Installer arrived and said the battery in my vehicle was not AMG and must have been a replacement at sometime. I showed the man the battery was a KIA battery, non AMG and original factory equipment . To my way of thinking, II had been screwed out of $120 and lied to about the 2017 Sorrento needing an AMG battery.

This is a scam. I ordered a Die Hard Gold and received a FVP Platinum. I have sat on hold for 1 hour with "customer service", left 2 messages, attempted the chat and they never answered. You can't even access the reviews from their webpage. They claim you have 30 days for an unconditional return but they never answer. I am reporting them to my credit card company as fraud.

On 8/24/22 I had a battery replaced. Then over a year later on 2/19/24 it wasn't working. 1-800-Battery said if the battery was dead, they'd only charge me half of the $100 service call. The battery was completely dead and was replaced but the company still charged me $102.96. I got an email stating they refunded my $49, but they never did. I've called multiple times asking for my refund and never got one. The only reason I knew that I never got the refund is because I'm always checking my credit card statement. That is a pretty crappy way to treat the customer.

scheduled online, between 1-3PM planned on paying cash they just cancelled the appointment emailing me they are closed. My credit card is maxed at the moment so I was going to pay cash. They never replied to my email saying I planned to pay cash. They've yet to reply back, they just cancelled the order/appointment and said they are closed around 1:28PM are they so idiotic that they can't imagine some people might pay cash?

Tried to drive to work at 6 am, battery is dead. Paid an exorbitant price for ASAP delivery, ETA of “2 hours and 2 minutes.” Get a notification 3 1/2 hours later that someone has been assigned to my order. Contacted them 1 1/2 hours later wondering where the hell the battery service that I ordered 4 1/2 hours ago is. Got a snarky reply that “it’s just an estimation, and they don’t even open until 9.” You would think that would be said WHEN YOU ORDER ASAP service!
