Warning to anyone who thinks of using these scam artists!!! I have an 18 month warranty on a battery that I got with them 5 months ago, called to have them send a tech to verify what my mechanic discovered, that it was bad. They took $107 to cover a tech trip charge in case the battery tested and promised me a tech for the next morning and told me to have my phone on and close by. Not only did the Tech NEVER show up, when I called them they do not even have a Tech in my STATE. They never intended to send one. The lies and run around continued for 2 weeks telling me to go to a local store to get the replacement battery. Called the place before hand and was assured it was there for me. When I got there an hour later they said not only did they not have the battery but have no record of it. They have cost me hundreds of dollars in taxi fees for 2 weeks to get to and from work because every phone call was another lie. I regret the day I used this company. $260 battery that lasted 5 months then had to buy another battery fir my mechanic to install at my expense all the while being lied to over and over again. DO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS, WARN EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!!

The worst service ever! Had a terrible time getting them to my house. When they finally showed up, my battery was good and didn't need replacement. That was Nov 17th! Still I have no refund. There is no one to speak to other then some kid in Texas. Stay as far away as possible. Btw, I have never written a bad review for anyone. This place deserves it. Please stay away. The worst service anywhere!!!

Unfortunately I would not recommend using 1800 Battery if you ever needed a mobile vehicle battery replacement. The technician was very helpful and stated I only needed a jump start not a new battery(Unfortunately I already prepaid for a new battery) I’ve been trying for 3 months to get my refund with no luck.

This place is a scam. First I was charged 295 and they never showed up. Next day I call and they say tech will be there in 4 hours. Then I get a text saying the tech cancelled due to distance. ( he was coming from 200 miles away!) then they tell me there is not a tech in my area. So I cancel and a told I will get a full refund. 4 days later, instead of 295.50, my card is refunded 29.95, how convenient they forgot a zero! Call back, there is no number for billing, guys says he will email the third party biller, that I’m not allowed to contact them myself! Still waiting for my refund. Do NOT use this company!

1 out of 5. The technician showed up on time and was polite. However, she was unable to complete the job. A bolt holding on the battery bracket was broken during the replacement and I was told the job couldn't be completed. I contacted the customer care call center to see what we be done about this, I was told "nothing." After some back and forth I request that the charge be voided or I be refunded as the technician left with the new battery I purchased. Neither happened. Instead I was charged for the service and have to dispute the charge with my bank. I paid $470 to have a bracket bolt snapped, and to receive terrible customer service.

I had a year left on my battery warranty. It is dead. I reported my problem, got an automated response that I would be contacted within 1 working day. I have emailed 3 times. This the 3rd day without a response. I have contacted a business and buying a new battery to be delivered tomorrow. 1800battery shows up and installs a pricey battery in good time. No help when there is a battery problem. Many businesses will deliver next day, that’s my recommendation.

The first time they came and replaced my battery I was very satisfied until the battery died within a week. So in order for them to come replace the second battery which was under warranty I had to pay a $105 deposit they said I would get back. So I paid $400 dollars for a battery replacement. To top it off they won't answer the phone for me.

This has been a nightmare. The technician who worked on my car ended up causing more problems. I ended spending over $800 with my mechanic to take care of the damages. 1-800 battery said they would reimburse. Last I heard the technician did not have liability insurance and now they are ignoring any correspondence I try to make. With the tow I am out over $1,100.00

1 out of 5 stars. My experience with 1-800-Battery was very frustrating. I scheduled the order at 7:42 a.m. They said it would be delivered between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. It didn't arrive until after 2:00 p.m. They did not communicate well. When I called they said all the lines were busy and asked if I wanted to text. When I texted they never responded to the text. When the technician finally arrived he did not speak English. I will never use this company again; nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I was quite happy with my battery purchase initially, especially with the ability they had to deliver and install the battery quickly. But my opinion has now changed dramatically! I went out to start my car today to run errands today and my battery was totally dead! Even worse, it was very cold here today, only 7 degrees outside. That means the battery was likely frozen. Frozen batteries can explode if you try to jump them or charge them and with how cold it was and how dead the battery was it most certainly was frozen. So I reached out to 1800batteries to see about a warranty replacement. They said they would come out and do a warranty replacement for a $50 charge. They went on to say that when the technician arrives they will first test the battery. If the battery tests good I would be charged $107 for a service fee (penalty really) and they would not exchange the battery. Even worse they said I could choose to purchase the battery if I wanted to, at a price of over $300. So the total then would be over $400 if they decided the battery was still usable. Well I was pretty darn sure that their technician would declare the battery while totally dead was just fine and expect me to pay out over $400 for then new one! I told them to forget it, I went to Fleet Farm and bought a bigger, stronger battery for $160 and it has a better warranty to boot. Funny but I never was informed of their extra hoops to jump through to get them to honor their warranty back when I bought the battery. I’m very unhappy.

Had to cancel the order. Was promised for 2 hour window and no response. Do not pick up the phone, no response in Chat and no response on Text. Very disappointed. I had paid and had to cancel it. Hope I don’t have to dispute if charged on credit card.

Customer service has not refunded my $99 that they charged me for no service. They claim that my refund has already been refunded back to my credit card. That was in August that they took my $99, and still have not refunded my money.
