This is the 3rd time in two years I have replaced the battery. 1.800 battery guarantee were supposed to work but it´s not. I have called more than 10 times and sent more than 5 emails and no one was able to help me. Great words no action.

I would have been very unhappy if I'd been waiting by the side of the road instead of at my home because they claimed I'd get service in an hour and it took more like two hours. Then the guy showed up without the battery I ordered and paid for, and he spoke very little English so it was difficult to communicate with him about the battery he offered me instead. For all I know, they sold me an expensive battery and delivered a cheap one. Seems likely. FYI: I chose one star, but that function doesn't seem to be working!

Called for service at 10:40am and no one showed up until after 7pm. I will actively campaign against anyone using your service.

I requested a dead battery to be replaced back on Sept.8 at like 8am CST. Later that day around 1pm I called to advise I have a push start car because I wasn’t sure if that would cost me more than what I paid which was $275.58 for a 2014 Nissan Altima battery replacement. I spoke to one of there customer service representatives who stated they were having issues with even getting in contact with the technician and will reach out tomorrow which would be Sept.9(Saturday) with an update. The next day no contact so I decided to call on my own and a different representative advised me they still haven’t been able to reach the technician and he sometimes “flake out” on them. Please keep in mind this company knowing this has already charged my card. I waited all that day which was Saturday and still my order hadn’t moved. I was told if I cancel then I would receive my full refund back to my debit card within 5-10 business days. I cancelled on Sunday so the first business day would be that Monday which was Sept.11. As of today Sept.26 I still haven’t received my refund which is ridiculous when this company (1800 battery) knew they had a janky technician that don’t even show up to work! My money should’ve been back on my card that same week! Now I have to dispute the charge with my bank since they just can’t get it right. So, I would recommend anyone who uses 1800 battery call them to make sure they have a working technician or technicians in your area because they’re not what they advertise which is having technicians available in your area!

This was my first time using 1800BATTERY because typically I'm a DIY but my battery seemed to be a problem, so I contacted them. Unfortunately, the service technician (Adam Balenovic) was horrible...maybe having a bad day. Upon arrival he never diagnosed the problem as advertised to confirm it was a dead battery. I had to take a meeting, so I wasn't looking over his shoulder, but he simply replaced the battery. When finished I had a few questions such as, "did you confirm the battery was dead". He begrudgingly responded, "no" and left. I get we all have a bad day at times, but really?

Purchased battery and installation for 2013 Ford Escape. Installer spent 2 hours trying to remove old battery by dismantling and removing the air filter assembly to get at it. In doing so, got one of his tools stuck on the old battery. Then tried to get at it by removing the drip pan that hangs over the battery but couldn’t get the wipers off to do that. After 2 hours, I told him to put everything back together and forget it. Car is still in my driveway with a dead battery and I’ll have to have it towed to dealership tomorrow so they can do what he couldn’t. PS: In putting parts back together he’s missing 2 screws and a nut. He has to return at 5:00 with his supervisor to retrieve the stuck tool and replace the missing hardware. !!!!! Will not ever use this service again!!!!

Back in August my car's battery died and I called 1-800-Battery. A young man came to my condo and changed the battery out. Everything worked fine the next day but the day after the car was totally dead. I had it towed to my Lexus dealer and was told by them that the battery would not hold a charge. I called your company and was told that a tech person would go out and check the battery. But they would charge me $105 if the battery was ok, but if the battery needed to be replaced there would be no charge. The next day I was called by the Lexus dealer and was told the that the tech person from your company had replaced the battery and the car was ready to be picked up. Today I got my credit card statement and the charge $105.44 was on there. I want the charged reversed since I was told it wouldn't be on there in the first place. Thank you, Mark Wilson

They can’t get their days that they are open correct. I made an appointment for Sept. 4, Labor Day online. After paying and receiving a confirmation that I had scheduled an appointment, I then received an email saying the warehouse was closed. I tried contacting customer service through a phone call, chat, text message and a voicemail. My appointment time came and went. In ALL of the ways to communicate that you would be closed, it was not done. After calling again on Tuesday, I finally got ahold of a live agent, and I requested an appointment for 3 PM that day, because I was at work and my car’s dead battery was sitting in my driveway and I needed to get home at a specific time. Imagine my surprise when I received a call at 1 :20 PM that a technician was at my house. I spoke with him and explained the situation, and gave him the code to the keyless entry. He assured me that I did not need to be there and that he would send pictures through the app. I went to check back later and I saw a message that the service was not completed. So I then had to call yet again, and where I learned that it was because HE DIDN’T HAVE A BATTERY. At this point , I had to leave work to get home at rush hour, so that I could head back to work at rush hour. I scheduled my work and paid for extra childcare because I thought that I would have this done on Monday and would be able to stay on Tuesday. If I had known that, I would have not spent the extra money and done things differently. The biggest being that I would have not used this service. I hope that I see a partial refund hit my checking account, but given the lack of customer service and attention to basic open hours I have experienced I don’t think that it will be forth coming.

Called and scheduled for Monday 8-10 a.m. Teceived a text message Monday morning saying that the tech could not come until after 5. Called at 6 to see status. They had not heard from the tech, he wasn’t responding. They didn’t know when he would be available. I scrambled to make other arrangements, and advised that I wanted to cancel my order. At 9:30 received a call from the tech wanting to come a little later that night.

I called, set up the appointment and waited. No one showed so I called to cancel. I said the person didn't come and no one texted or called to let me know they were going to be late. That's what was worse. A quick note like i am running 30 minutes late but noting.

I needed a new car battery straight away. I called 1-800-Battery because you guaranteed that you would deliver the battery AND install the same. The cost of the battery was ~$100 more than I could buy from AutoZone or Advance Auto, but I was willing to pay for installation and quick service because I needed to get on the road. The battery was delivered, but the person responsible for installation never arrived. So, I installed the battery myself. I called you and you gave me a $99 refund, which is OK. However, I now have a dead battery in my garage that I don't know what to do with. I expected service from you. You 100% failed to deliver. I'll wait to hear from you, but will soon post a negative review of your service.

We bought the gold battery with 36 months warranty, 850 CCA and they gave us a battery with 24 months warranty 750 CCA, that is, different specifications. They said 2 hours to arrive and it took 6 hours. I do not recommend it at all.

Scheduled a service and paid for battery. No one showed up in the window and in doing a chat was told that it might still be done. Later it was stated that it would be the next day. When I checked that morning was told it was a tech problem. I think it was just a run-a-round. Save your frustration level, don't schedule a service or pay for a battery. Find someone different to do the work. Too bad that they can't fulfill the service as scheduled.

Battery Replacement and installation appointment was scheduled several days in advance. On the date of service appointment, no update, no confirmation, after over 3 hours of waiting, texted customer service, then was told the technical personnel is not available, and will need to wait another 3-4 hours for service. Thank God I did not brokedown on the Side of the road waiting for rescue. In 80 degree heat such service is truly unprofessional and unacceptable. No customer service follow up…NOTHING!!!
