Craig was wonderful, quick and efficient and even gave me some ideas and thoughts concerning general maintenance I had questions about while he worked. Will def be using this service again if needed in the future!

Terriblle serivce, avoid at all costs. I stupidly made the mistake of looking online for a moblile battery install for my car and 1800battery popped up. Sounded like a good plan so i went ahead with it. THings went downhill the moment i gave them my payment info. They send you repeated emails saying your order has been updated and you need to create an account to view your order status on their website. I assume this i s just fishing for my contact information, but who knows. My order was confirmed and i recieved multiple emails comfirming my installation time. After waiting around for 3 hours ( the install window was two hours) i had to leave to go to work. An hour and a half after the install window had passed i recieved a call from a tech saying he was 20 minutes away. I told him that wouldn't work, he had missed his window by an hour and a half and he was a complete asshole in telling me he didn't work on thier scheulde he worked on his owm. I conacted 1800battery and the customer service was a joke. They told me " it looks like he's getting close to you for the install" even after i told them they had missed their window. Requested a refund from them and 8 days later i was hit with a $100 dollar random charger from them on my car. Absouletly avoid doing business with them unless you have an entire day to wait around and enjoy dealing with douchebages in customer service.

This has been a nightmare. The technician who worked on my car ended up causing more problems. I ended spending over $800 with my mechanic to take care of the damages. 1-800 battery said they would reimburse. Last I heard the technician did not have liability insurance and now they are ignoring any correspondence I try to make. With the tow I am out over $1,100.00

1 out of 5 stars. My experience with 1-800-Battery was very frustrating. I scheduled the order at 7:42 a.m. They said it would be delivered between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. It didn't arrive until after 2:00 p.m. They did not communicate well. When I called they said all the lines were busy and asked if I wanted to text. When I texted they never responded to the text. When the technician finally arrived he did not speak English. I will never use this company again; nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I was quite happy with my battery purchase initially, especially with the ability they had to deliver and install the battery quickly. But my opinion has now changed dramatically! I went out to start my car today to run errands today and my battery was totally dead! Even worse, it was very cold here today, only 7 degrees outside. That means the battery was likely frozen. Frozen batteries can explode if you try to jump them or charge them and with how cold it was and how dead the battery was it most certainly was frozen. So I reached out to 1800batteries to see about a warranty replacement. They said they would come out and do a warranty replacement for a $50 charge. They went on to say that when the technician arrives they will first test the battery. If the battery tests good I would be charged $107 for a service fee (penalty really) and they would not exchange the battery. Even worse they said I could choose to purchase the battery if I wanted to, at a price of over $300. So the total then would be over $400 if they decided the battery was still usable. Well I was pretty darn sure that their technician would declare the battery while totally dead was just fine and expect me to pay out over $400 for then new one! I told them to forget it, I went to Fleet Farm and bought a bigger, stronger battery for $160 and it has a better warranty to boot. Funny but I never was informed of their extra hoops to jump through to get them to honor their warranty back when I bought the battery. I’m very unhappy.

Customer service has not refunded my $99 that they charged me for no service. They claim that my refund has already been refunded back to my credit card. That was in August that they took my $99, and still have not refunded my money.

I was very disappointed in the service of this company. We paid a premium to have this service at our home during a very hectic time for our family and the price did not reflect the service we received. First they did not arrive during time window I requested. I called and they said it would be an additional 40 min. Then it was another 90 min. Finally the installer showed up in a car with a window missing and his car was smoking. Then he pops my hood and asks me where the battery is. What??? You’re supposed to know that. Then he must have a DUI because he walks out to his car to blow on a tube to keep his car running all while he pulls up YouTube learn how to put in my battery. It doesn’t take him long so when I turn on my car I can smell the alcohol on him. Not my idea of a premium service. I will not use 1-800 batteries again and I will tell my friends.

Paid for new battery to be delivered and installed.Taking out the old battery the negative clamp was damaged when prying it off the post. New battery installed with damaged clamp. When Technician left car would not start. Called company and was told it was not their responsability. So i was still stuck with car not starting after a 325 dollar charge...So if you need a battery have it installed by a real professional at a certified station if you can. It will save you time, money & aggravation!..

They can’t get their days that they are open correct. I made an appointment for Sept. 4, Labor Day online. After paying and receiving a confirmation that I had scheduled an appointment, I then received an email saying the warehouse was closed. I tried contacting customer service through a phone call, chat, text message and a voicemail. My appointment time came and went. In ALL of the ways to communicate that you would be closed, it was not done. After calling again on Tuesday, I finally got ahold of a live agent, and I requested an appointment for 3 PM that day, because I was at work and my car’s dead battery was sitting in my driveway and I needed to get home at a specific time. Imagine my surprise when I received a call at 1 :20 PM that a technician was at my house. I spoke with him and explained the situation, and gave him the code to the keyless entry. He assured me that I did not need to be there and that he would send pictures through the app. I went to check back later and I saw a message that the service was not completed. So I then had to call yet again, and where I learned that it was because HE DIDN’T HAVE A BATTERY. At this point , I had to leave work to get home at rush hour, so that I could head back to work at rush hour. I scheduled my work and paid for extra childcare because I thought that I would have this done on Monday and would be able to stay on Tuesday. If I had known that, I would have not spent the extra money and done things differently. The biggest being that I would have not used this service. I hope that I see a partial refund hit my checking account, but given the lack of customer service and attention to basic open hours I have experienced I don’t think that it will be forth coming.

Honestly, I find everything about this process to be subpar. I waited 30 minutes for a response from you, only to learn this is delayed by 5 hours. No notice, no way to follow up. I called, waited 30 minutes, no response. I texted, still no response. I could have had this taken care of this morning locally, without the hassle. Lesson learned.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS SERVICE! I placed an order for battery replacement/installation at 12 pm and was given a 2 hour window. I waited until 6 pm and was only updated when I called back again and again. I was then promised service first thing the next day with an 8 am -10 am window and was only updated when I called back again because no tech ever showed. Each time I called the reps were courteous but certainly unable to provide service or contact a tech for my order. After a total wait time of 11 and a half hours, I canceled. I did receive an email of my cancelation and refund. Too bad...I needed this battery changed, dedicated the time to get it done and now still need to get it done. I will not use this service again and I would not recommend using this service.

I'm sure the battery I received is fine; however, the service was not. All BMWs manufactured since 2002 require registering a new battery with the engine's control module (DME) to prevent the DME from overcharging the new battery (which doesn't require as much charging as an older one). 1-800-Battery techs do not have the equipment to do this even though they clearly advertise full and complete BMW battery installations with no warning that they do not complete this step. So, after paying them to install the batter, I then had to go to the dealer and PAY MORE to have them reprogram the car. 1-800-Battery acknowledged that they didn't complete the instllation and that they provided no warning that this would not happen and, so far, has refused to offer a partial refund.

Charged for full price of battery swap even though they only provided jumpstart service. Been calling all week for refund with no success. SCAM company! Never use this company.

Show up late. Said my battery was good and to take it to the shop to have alternator replaced. Changed bill to 100$ for jumpstart service. But charged me $387 for battery and install that never happened. Still 2 weeks after and they still haven't refunded me the extra money. Total sham. Do yourself a favor and pick somewhere else.

I wish I never contacted this company for help. Was told they would be there between 2 and 4. Never showed up. After me having to call them multiple times for status updates when they said they would call me ...I was given excuse after excuse. We can't find the tech.... he isn't answering our calls ....he has to drop off kids....what kind of business is this? By 8pm I was fed up and canceled my order after wasting my day waiting on them. The person on the phone sounded almost happy I was canceling. Fast forward two days later they still have a transaction pending in my account from the canceled order. Save yourself the hassle and find another service

New battery installed July 1. Did not drive it until attempting to today, July 7, I can't even unlock the doors. Everything is dead. Car started when installed, serviceman tested alternator, said it was ok. I am now on hold with 1800Battery. Wait time....less than one minute (recording keeps saying that), I've been holding 5 minutes, and still no representative. Order ID # 7430. I have now been on hold for 15 minutes....recording still says estimated wait time is one minute. I am next in que..... I NEED someone to contact me!!!

Hi Kitti, I know that customer service is waiting until normal daylight hours to call you. This is important a new battery is never fully charged if you don't run the car for awhile the battery will be depleted. It's important to drive the car for a little bit after install. A week would be a long time. Customer Service will be able to help with a jumpstart if needed.
