“Sorry, just now getting to this review from a September purchase and a speedy delivery of excellent service. My experience with the lifetime of batteries made me aware to be cautious of their possible sudden need for replacement at about 5 years, and it can vary. Of course, my 5-year-plus battery would not start in the morning. I had no difficulty starting before this day, or I might have gone to the auto store. Luckily I didn't have work that day, and I began exploring options: neighbor jump start, no cables, call a friend, naa, look online for a mobile delivery option. I have had AAA in the past, but I don't travel often, so I didn't feel the need and unsubscribed. Well, I'll join again because that's a service they offer, but upon investigation for new members, there is an additional $150 charge in addition to battery, delivery, and installation charges. So I looked online and found 1-800-Battery, and I'm so glad I did. I wanted a quality battery delivery and installation that was appropriate. I had just moved and had no tools, and frankly didn't want to mess with installation. I got my battery delivered and installed the same day! My technician, Abel, was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. I had made a mess of things with baking soda and vinegar, thinking I might need to clean the connecting cables, because there was some buildup, but it didn't help. Abel went far and beyond to clean around the area and cables after installation. Even provided tips for future maintenance. Everything was spic and span with a quality name-brand battery. I'm not sure the battery store guy would have done better. Now, the service price may be a little higher than other store options or self-installation, but in my mind, it is well worth it, including the peace of mind of quickly resolving the issue. I will be using 1-800-Battery again if they're still around five plus years from now!”

“Patience. When it was 2pm, my scheduled arrival was between 12 and 2pm, no call, no one had arrived; within 15 minutes someone did call and was at my apartment changing out my son’s battery.”

“First of all My technician Kyle Smithers was rude and unprofessional. Second , I am getting this message ‘ drive carefully systems initializing’ and the message is not clearing he might haven’t tightened the terminals and I am going to take it to the dealership to check my car out.”

“We have trusted 1-800-Battery twice in the last two months and I’d use them again in the future! The first time, we needed a battery for my fiancé‘s Nissan Versa and they were wonderful! They came out within the time window specified, and kept me updated as to the arrival time of their installer. He was fantastic! We had a slight problem with the battery, however, and it needed to be exchanged… But the driver ran back right away…obtained the correct battery and returned within 20 minutes. Things happen, and he handled it with professionalism and kindness. The second time was yesterday and I needed a new battery for my 2013 Mustang convertible. The guys came out earlier than expected, which was perfect for me! Again they let me know of the approximate arrival time of the installer and he fixed my car within 20 minutes. I went out this morning and she started right up! As I said above, I would use this company again and again! Their installers are phenomenal! Thank you so much! I hope this review was helpful!”

“Ordered my battery and a technician to put battery in at 8am. It was to be delivered around 1030-11am. No communication on the part of the company letting me know delivery status. Called 800 number around 1215pm to inquire about technician and battery, was given an updated time of 100pm. I advised them that I had to pick my son up from school at 2pm. I had to call them back at 130pm to see where the technician and battery were to find out that they were not coming. Operator advised that they had to switch drivers. My only question to the operator was why didn't someone let me know so that I could make arrangements to pick my son up from school? No reply. I requested a refund for the $300. Operator tried to push back on my refund, I requested a receipt or email advising of the refund status,operator stated that he could not send me one. But he guaranteed that it was canceled and refunded. NEVER AGAIN!! Customer service and Communication SUCKS!!”

“I ordered a car battery and called into pay at 3:11pm PST. The agent confirmed window selected from 3-5pm for install will be closer to 5pm. No updates. At around 6:15pm I called to check. Office was closed. I started a chat also closed. I checked my status says ASAP. I called next day at 6:45am. I explained the above, he said orders after 2pm require pickup, may have from not being able to pick up battery , etc. It wasn’t the same information from day before. Upfront communication when I paid would have prevented me from expecting it to be done at around 5pm. No callback for change in timing. I had to make other plans since I had no car.”

“I used 1800-battery.com and was so glad I did. I placed an order after my battery died at night, and the technician was on site in a timley maner. The communication from the company was excellent, and the tech was superb. He registered the new battery with my car's system and ensured everything was working perfectly before he left. This service saved me so much hassle and time. Phenomenal experience!"”

“I was not familiar with this business, but glad I was able to find them. I am one that is knowledgeable enough about car mechanics to be dangerous. I can do oil changes, brake pads, drums, headlights, batteries and most of the basics. While I consider the battery to be one of the "basics" even though where some of these car companies put them these days make them more than just basic, I normally will try to tackle it myself. However, when you don't have the time to do it, it’s nice to know this service is available, especially if you have a vehicle you can't get started even with a jump start. What's even better, THEY WERE PHENOMENAL and SAME DAY SERVICE. I was at work and needed a battery replaced in my son's girlfriend's car and trying to figure out how to make it happen when I came across 1800battery.com on YouTube of all things. I went to their website, placed the order, they came out that day and got it taken care of. The communication on the website was super quick with replies anytime I checked the status of the order through their chats, and Marshal, the tech that came out, was SUPERB!! We highly recommend these guys if you need a battery replaced and don't have the time or ability to get it done.”
