My car needed 2 batteries. The driver had 1. The battery was not installed but I still paid a costly service charge.

Claimed 1 hour, ended up being 4.5 hours. No discount, no refund, no communication. Too pricey.

They said 1 hour, it was 4 hours.

I needed a battery replaced on site. Went to their website and filled out all of my information. Got a confirmation and tech ID number and a 3 hour window. No issue on waiting. Called their customer service 3.5 hours later only to find out they don’t service my area. That would have been great information to know when I booked it! What a waste of my day.

This company is terrible. They will lie about the services they offer and scheme you during the install to get more money out of you. As a former employee of the company I've witnessed them put a battery in an a new audi without a scanner and messed up the dashboard codes. Car wouldn't drive an the company would not reply or answer the phone. They will lie on service time appointments ect. These people are modern day crooks. Don't fall for the convenience. JUST GO TO AUTOZONE PLEASE. THANK ME LATER

Technician was great, was he arrived. Place order for battery at 730am. Said estimate was 120 minutes, but also had a 3 hour window. After 3 hours I try to reach someone. Chat online is painfully slow, 30-45 minutes before someone responds, and calling left me on hold for several minutes. I'm not sure how such a great idea, and great service could have such a massive gap between expectation and experience. Extremely disappointing that what I expected as 3 hours or less turned into an 8+ hour ordeal.

My battery did not arrive so I had to get a friend to drive me to pick up the battery myself from another vendor.

Had an appointment from 8am to 10am. Rep arrived at 7:15pm! Ordered a specific battery and another type was installed. Still waiting for a replacement. My rep was very polite and friendly but dispatch needs too pay attention to scheduling.

The battery was never installed. I requested to keep my old battery, and the serviceman refused my request. We argued and he left my old battery sitting on top of the engine, NOT INSTALLED! Now your company is charging me $99.00 for a service call. Not fair, horrible service.

I had a technical issue trying to order their installation service. The service was never ordered but my card was charged. When I reached out for help, they never retuned my call and never answered my live chats. So they charged my card and delivered nothing. Will be taking this up with my credit card's fraud department if the charge isn't reversed, I suppose.

Your advertising claims there are no hidden charges or unexpected fees. Yet, when I get to check-out there is a $25 fee added on for "milage" for the service person to drive here. That stinks. The service person was knowledgeable and efficient and performed the service promptly. Yet that $25 fee sticks in my craw as a last-minute way to screw me out of more money. I'm sure you make a lot on that fee from people stuck somewhere who have no choice. I should have canceled the order and looked elsewhere, but, frankly, I, like many people where tired and just paid it. I'd tell people to look elsewhere.

I set up an appointment between 10am-12pm. At 3:00 i still hadnt heard from anyone so I called and talked to a customer service rep that told me that the person installing the battery would be there by 4:00. So he gets here and installs the battery, car starts and good to go... not so fast. An hour later my car doesn't start at the gas station so i checked the battery and the negative cable was barely hanging on. Not the best experience, that's a fact.

Be very careful with this company. It recommended the wrong battery for my car on the website. The technician explained that a less expensive battery was needed for my Honda. While the technician is still changing batter, I received an invoice from 1-800-Battery with the charge for the more expensive battery. I contacted the company and explained the situation. Within minutes I received an updated invoice with the correct battery listed and the costs. However, when I received my credit card statement 3 weeks later, I was charged for the more expensive battery. I contacted 1-800-Battery to report the elevated charge. I was told that I would not receive a refund for 7-10 days. Why?? I will not do business with this company ever again. Very sloppy bookwork.

I am baffled, bamboozled, bewildered. My car battery was completely dead and I scheduled an appointment to receive a replacement. The technician was scheduled to arrive between 9-11 am. After multiple messages and phone calls to customer service (and being told several times the technician was “at the appointment ahead of mine”) the technician arrived at 5 pm and completed the job in…12 minutes. I feel I am a reasonable person and understand that things happen, but the technician arriving SIX HOURS after the end of the scheduled time frame is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I missed an appointment and was also unable to pick up my animals from the vet (resulting in me having to board them an for extra night, spending extra money). I asked for another technician and was told he was the only one working today and that he was “not the most reliable to be honest”. I saved a screenshot of this because my brother in Christ, why are you talking about other employees this way to your customers? I specifically chose the morning 9-11 time because I had places I needed to be, though assuming I’d be able to be on my way by noon was a far off dream apparently. I lost an entire day waiting on the technician to arrive because I couldn’t use my vehicle. Why bother offering appointment times if they won’t be honored? Literally may as well write “we’ll arrive at some point (probably) could be any time between 8 am and 6 pm” instead of offering appointment times. Absolutely insane. Don’t use this company :)

My vehicle began to vibrate & make rattling noises after I had a battery installed by a 1-800-Battery technician. I reported these issues to 1-800-Battery the next day after I had driven my vehicle & noticed that a push rivet was missing from the battery containment area. I was told a technician would come back out the next day to check on the battery. No one came out the next day or bothered to call me to reschedule. The following day I called again & spoke with a person named Walter, who told me that no one had come out before because I hadn't left a credit card number. I told him no one had asked me for a credit card number during the previous call. After giving my credit card information & discussing possible new charges, I was told a technician would be out the next day. Again, no one showed up or bothered to call me to reschedule. The following day I took my vehicle to an auto repair shop to have the battery checked & was told the positive battery terminal was loose. The auto body repairman also asked me who had installed the new battery because he claimed whoever did it had secured it improperly. I was also missing not one, but two push rivets from the battery containment area. The loose battery terminal was tightened properly, as was everything else surrounding the new battery. He also offered to replace the missing push rivets, but unfortunately, didn't have the right size for my make of vehicle & suggested I try to find some at an auto parts store. I haven't been able to find the correct-size rivets yet, so I'll have to make a special trip to a dealership to try to find some. I finally heard back from 1-800-Battery by text a day after taking my vehicle to the auto body shop. The text said a technician was on his way. I immediately called 1-800-Battery & spoke with a person named Travis. I canceled this service & I also expressed to him how frustrated & disappointed I was with the service I had received. Travis said he was sorry, but never offered to make things right. The least he could have done was to offer to replace the missing rivets, which weren't missing before the new battery was put in. I will not use your company again & do not recommend it to anyone else.

I think that 1 800 batteries is a rip off, comma I purchased a purchased a die hard battery art battery 3 warranty, The guy shows up with an ever start.. Which is not as good as the die hard, It is a 3 year warranty sources that they can buy whatever they want to match the warranty.. You said it has the same cranking apps and everything else blah blah blah, comma didn't have a terminal cleaner, he's the owner operator, With lettering and all over his ran thinking you would have a little more one more compassion and pride in your work. The 1 in the heart of bad repeat people that you chat with are jerks, they don't care they have a bad attitude . I can't wait for my battery to die in a year and see what they're gonna do because this is gonna go to the States Attorney General's office office cause I'm ripping people off charging for batteries that don't cost what they are showing online I'm lying. And buying cheaper batteries and charging the same price.. $320.00 for a 3 year battery. If customer service is nice I could let it go but they are just don't care . So on my warranties up happy trails I hope you get wrapped up in some kind of mess for ripping people off when people off and I'll be in on the lawsuit that will happen and get my money back, go to Walmart garage don't come and do it for the same price . And at least you know what you're gonna get and where they're at.

Disappointing experience, bait and switch tactics. I paid nearly $400 for a battery for my Mercedes Benz C300. 1800battery brought a completely different battery without notifying me or getting my approval of the change. As most customers would do in this situation, I cancelled the order. Now they’re still trying to charge a $100 dispatch fee. I would’ve cancelled the order before the dispatch had I known the battery was changed.

Bait and Switch. Paid for a Premium battery and received and middle of the road battery. Installer came to the car (great) and installed a battery (great) but it wasn't the battery I prepaid for. Total silence to my communications afterwards.

I would give zero stars if I could. Scam company. Never showed up to my service appointment. Finally got a few spines from them next day saying my order was cancelled after charging my card. I will also report to the BBB
