After not hearing from anyone until right before my appt. was supposed to be done, I panicked. They said the battery I ordered would not be available till the next morning and they'd be at my house at 7:30am. After that time came and went I called again and was told no notations were made on my account. Irritated already, they sent someone out who told me my total which was more than half of what I paid then he said "oops you went through 1800battery, oh okay well you're all set." $128 vs $340 for the same service...I wouldn't recommend

Total scam! Stay away! Purchased a premium "Die Hard Gold" battery when the tech arrived had a generic battery...a brand I have never heard of. Advised the tech it was incorrect and he left. Attempted to contact customer service was told the battery I purchased could not be located in my area (not true contacted multiple locations near me plenty of Die Hard Batteries)so they decided what battery was good for my vehicle. When they could not / would not provide the battery I paid for I requested a refund. After an hour of back and forth I was advised they would refund the battery but they would charge me $100 for the tech visit. As started that battle I has hung up on. Called back and no one would answer the phone. Wife called from a different number connected with someone and she was hung up as well. STAY AWAY TOTAL SCAM!

Bought a battery that went dead in 9 months. A premium priced battery that the tech assured me was top of the line for my auto. Now, they claim they simply cannot find a tech who will respond in my area and offer no solution as I sit here stranded.

I had an appointment today from 3:00-5:00pm, nobody ever contacted me, I called, sent texts, email and stayed on the line forever, not one phone call or text was returned.

Was notified by email that battery would arrive & be installed in 2 hours 2 minutes. After the 2 hours passed and no-show, chatted on line with rep who didn't know if local techs worked weekends, nothing on website noted no service on weekends. Never heard back from their rep.

I purchased a new battery for my suv when it was dead in driveway for $282.00. He checked my alternator and my reading was exactly what it was supposed to be. Fast forward 28 days, my 282.00 battery is dead . So now I’m thinking there is something else wrong with my car and draining the battery. Soo they came. And I don’t really know what they did but told me it’s not the battery. He said the battery is fine. Soo I had to have my car towed $130.00 to my service station. Explained everything to my mechanic . So he charged the battery and wala…. The car started, so he went home and the next day he wanted to check it again. The car started again. Mechanic fee Was $30.00. So a total of $160.00. Because they probably just did not want to replace the battery which was still under warranty. 1800battery did not help me. They told me when I called them and before they arrived that it has to be an electrical issue. Car still starting, I think it may have been dead due to the fact that I don’t drive that much in the Florida sun will and does drain batteries

Incompetence or fraud? Not certain. I was charged $326 to purchase and install a battery. When the installer came, he had the wrong battery. The 1-800 battery reps sent him to get another one. Two hours later, he brings another wrong-sized battery. An hour after that, he leaves. I got nothing except a wasted 3 hours that evening. Now I have spent hours on the phone, trying to reach customer service. They only respond by text. They finally credited me for $218. I still have a remaining $108 to be credited. It is fraudulent to charge for a service or product not given. I am exasperated and I should be paid for the time I have spent trying to get my money refunded and the hours wasted on dealing with a company that sends batteries that are NOT the size on the order. Gee whiz!!!

Showed up 26 hours late without ever reaching out to reschedule. A total of 5 calls/messages from me went unanswered; I thought it was a scam and reached out to other mobile mechanics. It seems like an excellent website where you can book an appointment using a two hour window, but they do not appear to be ready to handle the demand and they are not equipped to communicate with customers to inform them appointments will be missed and need to be rescheduled. They need to invest in a call center / people to properly service their clientele. As it currently stands their appointment system is arguably false advertising.

This is the second time in a year and a half that I used 1-800-Battery and I spent a great deal of time online and on the phone to try and circumvent the problems I had last time where first they sent the wrong size battery, then they sent one with the positive and negative terminals the wrong way around and finally had to go to a dealership to get the right battery. After spending all that time on the phone and on the computer to avoid this situation again, all I got were assurances that everything was set to NOT have those problems again...but all the same problems occurred again and it took over two days to finally get it right! It sucked!

Absolutely the worst business. You wait forever on the phone for customer service. They sent an idiot who had no tools, didn't know how to replace the battery in a Porsche. The guy showed up with no tools, no knowledge, and couldn't charge my car to get the trunk open. Then they charged me full price for providing zero service and I haven't been able to get my money back. This is a scam business running out of someone's garage. I had to find a local garage to finally get my car battery replaced. Dont go near these idiots. over 3 months and I still have not been refunded

I call 3 hours after that, no answer, try to text, no answer. Its 6:03pm now, no battery, no response. Terrible. Time was changed causing me difficulty getting to work. Technician was given wrong battery and had to return to store. Technician was unable to make original appointment time per arrangement with the company (he is employed during that time).

cc was run prior to service which had zero contact prior to or during the 8-10 slot. NO one would pick up the phone on the ;customer service' number. tried to cancel credit card transaction. tech calls at 12:15, had no answers and tells me "I had a lot of 8-10 calls". Great concept-TERRIBLE EXECUTION
