Installed a battery, my car died a day or two later, so I had them do a warranty check to see if it was a bad battery. Sent the SAME PERSON who told me it was my car, not the battery, and I believed them. My car had to be jumped 3 times since then, and I finally took it in to see if it was the alternator, etc and the mechanic ran diagnostics on my car, determined it was a BAD BATTERY, installed a new one and now my car is running perfectly. Ran a diagnostic after the new battery install and confirmed it was still the old bad battery. Tried to go through the company to resolve, who told me I needed to find the garbage battery and go through the warranty process again. Huge scam, not worth the cost, stay away.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, EVER! I normally only take time to give good reviews. But this experience has been not only beyond poor but potentially dangerous. In January I order a battery that online that was suggested from the site for my Dodge Journey. The man came out, put it in all the while complaining that he wasn't happy that he had to remove the tire to put the battery on. The company charged 200 in labor over the cost of the battery to put it on. A couple weeks later, the battery is completely dead. I call this company and they charge me $99.99 to come out and check the battery. It is bad so they replace it with a battery that the technician ran done to the corner O'Riley's to purchase (at least that's what he told me). He is the same technician that put the first battery in. Now, three weeks later, the battery is completely dead again. So I have my car towed to the Dodge Dealership and they test the battery. They tell me it's a dud. That is what they called it. They said the battery was so bad that they could not even jump my car for several tries. They did all kind of diagnostics on my car. No problems. Just the battery. Now my car is in the shop getting a new battery from the dealership. Of course, the shop was very busy so it took them 3 days to get to this point. That's 3 days that I'm stranded without tranportation due to 1800battery.com. After I get off the phone with the mechanic, I call 1800battery and am told that since the first battery was replaced, the second doesn't have a warranty. That they will be reimburse me any of the $339 dollars I paid for the battery. Heck, they should be apologetic for the horrible service. It is scary for anyone no matter a single women being stranded due to a bad battery. The representative, Jaylen, that I spoke said, "I'm hear your frustration but that's just policy." I am currently waiting for a call back from the manager, Jason. I will update this review if they call back. Somehow I doubt they will even bother. Sad. DO NOT USE THEM!!

I scheduled a battery change one day before. After the two hour window passed, called them and they had not even scheduled anyone to come. I called 3 times and they lied that someone is on their way. The person arrived three hours after the time window I had scheduled for. I wasted five hours on them plus the aggravation.

you can’t tell ppl it’s gonna be there between 9-11 am and come at 8. it’s pathetic to give me 30 dollars off when you wasted my whole day as 3.75 an hour. do you pay your employees slave labor wages? exactly.

Customer service is horrible. After I placed my order I was promised an ETA of 2 hours but it ended up being 2 days. I tried to contact customer service by phone but ended up on hold for hours before I gave up. I left three voicemails and sent three emails without getting a response over 2 days. Finally, I received a phone call from the service tech on Sunday morning after waiting for almost two days and he was at my house within 5 minutes and did an excellent job of installing a good quality battery for me in about 15 minutes. He told me he just received my order that morning. The battery and the service tech person were great but the customer service is just about the worst I have ever experienced.

Nobody showed up to deliver or install the battery. Nobody answered the phone. I waited on hold for an hour. Nobody replied to the chat. I waited two hours. Terrible service. Complete rip off. I will never use them again. Now I have to struggle to get my payment refunded. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE.

Delay after delay! I was looking for same day service so I booked this company around 9am for a 2-4pm window. They called me soon after telling me that they can be out here even earlier. Then they called at 1:30pm saying they made a mistake picking up the right battery. Then they left a voice message at 9pm saying they can be here after 10pm. I called back to come the next morning and they said they can. The next day I call them at 5pm waking in the rain because I still don’t have my car working and they respond they can be here in about an hour. They don’t arrive until 8pm. And the battery they give me has 1 less year warranty than what I paid for. I am never using this service again and I’m going to tell others to avoid.

No good. Charged your car and no show. Can’t reach customer service at all. Tried calling, live chat, emailing, and texting. They don’t reply your call. I was on the phone line for 30 min to an hour multiple times. Seem like they just sent your money and not there to help.

These guys quoted me a price of about $96 to replace my terminals. The guy that showed up told me to go to a mechanic and left without doing anything. Then they charged me around $300 for a battery and installation. I"ve called several times and emailed. They keep telling me I should get a refund and to wait for a call back and keep leaving me hanging. Still no refund. Completely unprofessional.

THIS IS A SCAM. They will initially service your car and make it seem as if they properly replaced your battery. The only complaint you’ll have at this time is poor communication. In a few months your battery will die again (when it should last a 2-3 years). They will again have poor communication. When you take into your car’s dealership, the technicians will find that 1-800 battery inserted a rust preventer clip to drain your battery’s life. THEY ARE A SCAM. DO NOT USE THEM.

I place my appointment for 11-1:00pm at 730am no one ever called or confirmed my appointment. When I didn't get any info from texting, emailing, and calling. I called one more time and was told sorry we don't service your area. We were hoping someone near there would pick up this service. This is totally unacceptable and then had the nerve to tell me it would be 7-10 days for a refund. I called my bank and told them what happen and was credited my money back asap. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

AVOID AT ALL COST!! This company is a scam! My service request was below average and I did not receive the DieHard Gold battery that I purchased. Instead I received an FVP battery that died on me the next day. After reaching out to customer service to request warranty service, I was told that the company policy had just changed a day after I purchased and I would have to pay $99 to service a faulty new battery that their company sold me. After not agreeing to this, I asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager is really busy and would give me a call back at a later time which they never did. I ended up having to purchase another new battery from AAA and regrettably, accepting my loss of $362 from this scam company as a lesson learned. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I had my battery replaced in my 2011 Mercedes Benz and after trying to drive home from work a new light alerted on my dashboard and I could no longer accelerate. This has never happened and I had no dashboard alert prior to needing a new battery. I called back to 1-800 Battery to see if someone would come check to see if it was installed properly or if a certain reset was needed in order to get my car working normally, whoever I was speaking to would not help me and only said for $99 someone can come check the battery. I told him the battery is fine, they just replaced it, he kept saying "Umm" and wouldn't offer anything other assistance. I asked for the manager, he said he wasn't in, even at 10:38am on a Tuesday. I offered to speak to his voicemail even and he wouldn't do that. He said he had my information and he would call me back when the supervisor came in. This was yesterday morning and still no one has reach out. Extremely unprofessional and if you aren't sure you fixed a certain call then you should not be working on them.

I scheduled an appointment for them to come to my place of employment to replace my car battery. I let them know from the beginning that my vehicle was a hybrid. The earliest same day appointment was 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Jaylen called to let me know they would not be able to come until 4:30-5:00 PM. I had to repeatedly call Jaylen and someone finally showed up after 7:00 PM. The person that showed up was unprepared, had no idea where the battery was in a hybrid car. He kept on saying it should be in the back seat. I had to google where the battery was to tell him. I had to remove the covering of the battery in the vehicle myself. He had the hardest time removing the battery. He didn't want to place the protective cover over the new battery because in his words that was just a hassle. I had to put the covering back in the vehicle myself after the battery was installed. He had no flashlight just his cell phone. I had to use my cell phone flashlight so that he could have light. I thought this would be a fast and convenient way to have my car battery replaced. Instead it was expensive and they were extremely unreliable. Jaylen kept on telling me the person coming to change the battery was not answering their phone.

This is a fraud company. I ordered a Diehard GOLD battery which cost $350 (Including $99 service/installation fee). But serviceman trying to replace $100 Econocraft battery(not that I ordered). They didn't show/inform me which battery they replacing in to my car, so I stopped them immediately and requested a refund. It's been 8 days, they didn't refund me. I called several times. DON'T use this service unless you are owning risk. Please check your battery if you replaced it in the past, and make sure it's the right battery they replaced in the car that you ordered.

I ordered a battery and paid over $350 but the battery they installed was different and low capacity that caused lot of issues on remote keys and dashboard functions. The return policy mentioned indicates that no questions asked for rerun but that’s deceiving. Don’t trust that you will get what you paid for. I had very poor experience.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Total scam! I paid $344 for a DieHard Gold battery, a guy showed up with some off-brand random battery. I called the company on the spot and they said they reserve the right to give you ANY battery they have, and that I should have read the FAQ page so I would have known that. They said they had to charge me a $99 service fee to cancel the order. Uh, no way!
