Placed order was told they would charge me until the service was provide, they charged me anyway, I waited 5 hours and no one showed up nor did anyone call. After being in hold for over an hour someone answered and said the tech had something else to do and wasn't coming. Being this is the holiday weekend and it's almost 5pm, I am without a car for 3 days. Very poor customer service

I would never use your service nor recommend it to anyone ever!! The tech that came to install an already overpriced battery was not prepared as he did not have the means to provide backup power so that my vehicle did not lose the radio code, radio settings, seat settings etc. I asked him to leave and when I called to cancel the order was then informed there would be a charge of $99. If I had only read the other numerous unfavorable comments I would have never chosen 1 800 Battery. What a slimy company.

Ordered battery told about 2 hour delay. Never received. Unable to contact them using chat and email. No communication from them. Worst customer service ever. Entire staff including CEO should be fired.

Paid for an expensive Die Hard battery and what was installed was a Valuecraft which is much cheaper and only has a 1 year warranty. Emailed customer service for a credit and they won't respond. Do not use this company. I'm sending the info to the Virginia Atty General. It is fraud.

Terrible. They came out and replaced the battery at 300.00. Two months later my car won’t start I call AAA and it’s my battery 1800battery put in an old battery and it was the wrong size for my car. They will not connect me to a manager they say he will call it’s been over a week. Don’t use this service.

Horrible experience, which I'm stlll seeking answers to. The technician came to my residence, claimed to call (no missed call records) and didn't bother to email or ring my doorbell. They just left and charged me the full price without any service. Customer service said they couldn't help or offer a refund. Waiting to hear back after escalating up the chain. Don't want a refund, just want them to come out and do what I paid for.

1-800-Battery gave me a time slot for a battery delivery and replacement and never showed up. They also never notified me; when I called I was told that they'd reach out to a tech and call me back asap. Several hours later, I had to call back and was told that they realized no techs were available. A good rule of thumb is if you're going to no-show a customer (especially after telling them you'd reach out soon), at least let them know so they can make other plans. I haven't checked to see whether I was charged for this service, but thanks for the reminder. I'll be sure to leave my feedback on third-party review sites as well.

tech came out 3 hours after the appointment. I was actually lucky that he was so late beause I was there when he tried to install the wrong battery. Not only was it the wrong power and a lesser battery but it was too small to fit into the battery space. This was supposed to be and exact replacement. To top it all off I was unable to get a rep on the phone to reschedule so I had to cancel this service and was charged anyway as if they had completed the install. Never again.

This is a great idea but implemented very badly for me. I was willing to pay extra for the convenience of having battery replaced at my office. But, after fighting with a non-responsive website to schedule online, then an equally non-responsive chat I finally called. Made an appt. Aftert the time I was promised passed I called and was told the battery I needed wasn't available until the next day at a time when I couldn't be available. When were they going to tell me this. A lot of time wasted for what was supposed to be a convenience. I cancelled and will take less time to get my batter for probably 25% less. Ugh!

They are terrible, brought me the wrong size battery and it was defective. Didn’t even have the right tools. I tried to take it back to AutoZone where they bought it and they told me to call the business that put it in. I went somewhere else and they did a great job. Now they won’t give me a refund. Big expensive lesson. Don’t use them.

One of the worst experiences of my life . 7hours I waited .7 hours of lies. I was told "Paul" was on his way. I called "Paul" , nothing . Eventually he blocked me . The wonderful man who finally showed said that he didn't get the call until late afternoon. I was with a child who is on the spectrum, it was 32' outside. It cost me $200 to tow it home . I would have towed it home at 8:30am.if they had not said they were on their way. We got home at 4:35. SHAME ON 1800batteries!!!!!

had service done 11/21/22 for a replacement battery but turns out i didn't need a battery. So I was told I would be reimbursed for the whole battery and i haven't received my reimbursement and it is now 12/8/22 when i was also told it takes 5-10 days to get it back. And also made contact several times and they give you the run around saying they will get on it and nothing has happen yet.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life! Needed a service call after the installation was done poorly and the battery died. Called on a Wednesday and told they would be out on Thursday by 4:30. At 7:00 they called and said they were on the road and would be there shortly, never showed up. Called and rescheduled for Friday. Again told they would be there by 4:30, this time NO CALL NO SHOW!!! Rescheduled for Saturday, guess what, NO CALL NO SHOW!! Monday get a call they would be there between 9-11:00. Guess what, yup you guessed it, NO CALL NO SHOW!!! Asked to talk to management several times and there is never anyone around or they would call me back. Guess what? Yup you guessed right, NO CALL FROM MANAGMENT!!! Going on 4 days with the most ridiculous customer service in my life!! Any employee that does a no call no show should be fired. Management should be fired for not calling back. What has happened to customer service? If i could give them less than a 1 star I would.

I’m still waiting for my refund, was told funds would not be charged unless order completed, wrong battery brought even tho I told customer service multiple times I would not accept the battery if it was the wrong size well lo and behold it was the wrong size I was charged $99 because the tech came out anyway with the wrong battery my phones were charged to the tune of $400 towed I was told I was getting a refund still waiting. This is not a legitimate company. Service is terrible buyer beware

Paid for a Die Hard Gold. They installed another battery without discussing it with me or telling me what they did. Did not discover the change until my husband came home later that evening.

Very deceptive practices. I paid for a high-end DieHard battery and got the cheapest Continental instead. CCA for Die Hard Gold is 640, for Continental is 550, warranty is 30 months for DieHard, 24 months for Continental, etc. When your car is dead and you are waiting for hours for a technician to come and install the battery, you are at their mercy to get what they bring, and they just assume that you won't know the difference. Although if you scroll through their website and you happen to get to the hyperlink for FAQ, you might find something along the lines of "The brand available is determine by location and availability", it does not excuse that they switch to the cheapest available model while you have paid for the most expensive from a better company.
