“I was skeptical at first since I had not used this service before. It was so easy and it worked. I put in my information and my preferred time. During that time slot, my technician showed up, tested my battery--and installed a new battery. The whole thing took about 15 minutes versus droppping off my truck or sitting in a repair shop for a few hours. Would definitely use it again.”

“Yesterday I woke up to head to the gym and my BMW X5 wouldn't start. I drove my partner's car and when I got home at 6:30 am I googled replacement battery for BMW X5. I wasn't sure if the battery was the problem, but I figured I might as well replace it myself instead of having my car towed to the dealership where I knew they would charge me an arm and a leg. I placed my order and by 7:10 am I got a text that my order had been dispatched. By 11:40, I got an alert that the battery was on the way and a notice about who the technician would be. Minutes later I got a call from the technician. He came to the house, met with my partner, got the battery changed, did the registration or recalibration that BMW requires and confirmed that my car started. I am super grateful that I found this service because I know the dealership would have charged me three-four times what I paid 1-800-Battery. I have not been able to stop talking about 1-8-Battery and I will definitely recommend it to friends, familty members and anyone else that I encounter. Thank you.”

“I paid for a specific battery and the one that was installed was not that battery that I paid for, but a cheaper one. I called customer service right after the mechanic left and he said he could not help me or put me on the phone with someone who could help. He gave me their generic email address and said to email my complaint there. I've now emailed twice in 5 days and haven't had a response. They obviously don't care about their customers.”

“Got my battery replaced by 1-800 Battery one year ago and it died yesterday. Spoke to someone and they said they would honor the warranty and it would be $50 for labor on the phone but they charged me $104. Lol. The service is relatively fast and the people are friendly but little stuff like this urks me.”

“The young man that showed up was very nice and installed the new battery. The car did not start….. I had to call a Mobil tech in to see why and it turned out that a wire was not put back. It cost me an addition 150.00 for someone else to connect the loose cable……. Really?”

“The only problem I had was I ordered the battery on Sunday and it said an hour or so arrival and then I get a phone call 2 hours later saying they have no one to come out and that they will get it out in the morning I would have been fine with it if I wasn't told from the beginning that I was going to get it when I ordered it other than that everything was good good service good workers”

“If I was grading my experience, I would give the scheduling a "D-", the product a "see me after class", and the service tech an "A". I had requested a 9 AM to 11 AM service window. At 11:15 AM, I had received no contact other than an two near identical emails saying my order had been changed to "Driver Assigned/Pickup". I called and was informed the tech had yet to pick up the battery and they would arrive in about 45 minutes. At 12:45 pm, I received a text from the tech saying he'd be in the area around 3:30. At 3 PM, I received another text, this time from a tracking service saying "1-800-Battery is on the way and should arrive in about 5 hours." The tech arrived at 3:30 with a battery that was unrepresented on the 1-800-Battery website. After a little digging, I had found in the FAQs that this might happen. This should have been in plain, easy to identify language on the order page. Then, by showing my a "DieHard" battery on the confirmation page, again with no asterisk, I had been misled into thinking I would receive that exact battery. The battery substitute clause was found after the order was placed. I was fully satisfied by the tech. He changed the battery as if he had been under that exact car's hood a hundred times. No parts were fumbled, and the work was completed in a timely manner.”

“so far very pleased they gave me a heads up. They came on time and they installed the battery which is all I needed and if the battery keeps working for a reasonable amount of time I can say yay and will definitely recommend you guys.”
