Appalling!!! I have paid premiums forever and when I have a legitimate claim, they try to weasel right out. The Boiler Service conducted by 247 identified a fault that is covered by the Boiler Breakdown. They insist that the engineer's comment: "Report to Insurer" IS sufficient rectification and therefore the actual fix that is covered by the Breakdown contract, would be deemed 'remedial'. Now they want to charge a premium for something that is covered under the contract😖. Of course I'm cancelling the contract and looking for a local independent engineer to maintain the property.

Absolutely terrible service. I complained, as the gas engineer was incompetent only to be ignored by them. I ended up having to pay for another gas safety engineer to carry out my service and restore the boiler.

I have been trying to book a boiler service for the past 3 months, each time I contact the customer service line I am told a local engineer will contact me to arrange an appointment, this never happens. This has happened before at a previous address and in the end had to cancel the contract without a service or any re-inbursement. this is terrible service.

I rang today about leaking boiler and that it had tripped the electrics. I have turned it off. I answered thier questions honestly. I have a 73 year old who is now out of self isolation from Covid, but still testing positive. I’m told they can not send out an engineer due to this and there they are happy for us to have no heating and cold water. Even though we have a home emergancy. They obviously do not live up to thier name!! How can they be allowed to do this?

Constant nagging to get a new boiler, had a service, engineer decides to condemn the boiler with a very dubious fault stating the PCB boards on my particular model were now a fire risk. I contacted the manufacturer and they had never heard of the fault also had second opinion from another engineer who also had never heard of the fault. Thereby came the hard sell to buy a new boiler from them and I couldn't cancel the policy because I had had there boiler service. Complete and utter scam artists avoid at all costs

please do NOT use this organisation. they are useless through and through. my boiler was working until they serviced it and afterwards it cost me ÂŁ268 to fix even though some arrogant upstart told me it was beyond economical repair and tried to get me to buy a new one. the customer service is non existent with no one senior to speak to other than lowly call centre people in india who were reading from a script. we had no heating or hot water over xmas and i was offered ÂŁ50 compensation. Utterly utterly shambolic - i am raising it with the FCA - Homeserve all over again

I have had a terrible experience with 247 and would n ot recommend their services to anyone. There have been several issues but the icing on the cake today when I was told they had no note of me cancelling and even if they had they would have charged me anyway. Extremely unhappy with their poor service.

Paying for cover which was sold as unlimited call outs parts and labour, service engineer came to do annual service on my 1 year old boiler only to find the competent engineer  had not put the pressure back into the boiler, called them back to seek support advised & that i wanted to cancel was told as i had someone round for annual service therefore i could not cancel due to t&c's. I was advised i will need to cancel 30days before my renewal and my policy was only covering me in the event of a TOTAL FAILURE, soo i felt mis informed by the sales advisor!

We had an engineer round to service our 2yr old boiler which was otherwise in good working order. A few hours after servicing, boiler completely stopped working. We phoned 247 and the same engineer turned up. Clueless and unhelpful. He kept apologising and it was obvious he knew this was all his fault. He said they would have to call an electrician but 247 insist we would pay for it as we have not purchased electrical cover!!! A useless company that does not take responsibility when they have obviously done something wrong. Either way, no electrician has turned up. This is 3am and we are all shivering. Second day without heating in this horrendous weather with young children in the house. Avoid 247 at all costs. We are taking this up. You are not getting away with this!!

Updated: 11/2/2021 Hello, Following up on your earlier phone call with one of our representatives on November 1st, 2021. We are sorry to learn that you reported a problem with the radiator leaking at your property following our engineer's visit on October 27th, 2021, and that had caused to express your concerns on social media. As you are aware, we were able to review your complaint right away and determined that your concerns were valid. As a result of the complaint the technical team authorized a gesture of goodwill to you and now you do not have to pay for the cost of repair. They've also assigned one of our engineers to reach out to you. And, with your permission, the engineer will visit your property on November 4, 2021, between 08:00AM. and 05:00PM.  We apologize once again for any inconvenience this has caused you. It was agreed that this outcome would be the final resolution to your concerns. Please be advised that, in accordance with our Complaints Procedure, we now consider the complaint to be resolved and closed. Thankyou Kind Regards, 24/7 Home Rescue

Do yourself a favour and pay a bit extra with another provider and avoid these cowboys at all costs. 24/7 insisted I have my boiler service early in my contract then charged me £60 for having it completed early. It then took over 6 weeks to even get a date agreed for my boiler service, this is after having to make many many phone calls to get it sorted. Date gets arranged then gets cancelled on the day by 24/7, different reasons provided depending on who I spoke to. Further hassle on my part to get another appointment. Engineer attends to do the service then after leaving the property I realise there is now a GAS LEAK from the boiler! Engineer comes back out and says it was caused by him not tightening the pressure test valve enough but not to worry it was “only a little leak, and it was only leaking when the boiler was running” (Apparently that makes it ok!) Complained to 24/7, no response for weeks so again I was having to chase them up numerous times. Eventually gets a response over 9 WEEKS from logging my complaint and they said they don’t agree that the engineer left me in any danger (with a gas leak!) because when he came back out he didn’t need to change any parts. Utterly ridiculous. Was offered a “gesture of goodwill” of 2 months free- worth less than £10. Told them I wasn’t interested and considered the contract breached due to their engineers negligence and the length of time taken to respond to the complaint (over the length of time they stated in the contract). They told me I would need to pay a £144 cancellation fee- just to be clear this is more than the TOTAL annual contract cost in full! Obviously after another set of lengthy phone calls I have come out of contract without paying for it. This is a terrible company with appalling service. There is no accountability and the poor people who work in complaints are left to pick up the stick- not once did a manager or someone senior contact me regarding my complaint or even acknowledge it and every response I had from 24/7 was as a result of me chasing. Without a doubt the most frustrating and stressful service agreement I have had in my life and I was only with them 3 1/2 months! Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! You have been warned, take out a contract with them at your peril!

Fraud company - Do Yourself a Favour. Stay Away. Fraud company. Take out money and when it comes to deliver their part, they try to rip you off. My policy document says: "Relax! You’vegotcover". "We’rehere24/7. We pride ourselves in providing a swift response - whether these involve a broken boiler, burst pipes, electrical / appliance breakdown or an issue with your drains, our nationwide network of over 3000 gas safe engineers are on hand to put things right for when they go wrong. Priority customers: We will ensure that any property with any residents over 60 years old, under 5 years old, or with special medical conditions are treated as a priority, and we aim to get an engineer there the very same day! Monthly rolling contracts: We are so confident in our level of customer service that we don’t need contracts to keep customers! A 24 hour UK based helpline: Our emergency helpline is available 7 days a week, 365 days a year!" My 'Policy' document says: You don’t need to worry about... 24 Hour Call Outs 24 Hour UK Helpline Boiler Breakdown Carbon Monoxide Test Central Heating System Free Annual Boiler Service Gas Safe Check Nationwide Coverage Parts & Labour Included Unlimited Call Outs Unlimited Claims LOL==== biggest scam. They do not have engineers. They outsource and probably sell leads instead of paying the engineers. Th Engineers entire objective is how he sells you a new boiler and additional services. Their call centre is in the UK??? --- LOLs. The people I spoke to had no idea of what they were talking about. They could not pronounce city names and had no idea of what the weather was in the UK! They care -- LOLs. only how they can squeeze money out of you. search Google for their actual rating. You will find horrible stories. They claim to give priority to the elderly and children. How they manipulate people's feelings and try to cash on that. Disgrace. Reminds me of the Only Fools & Horses! Del Boy (in his branded trainers): "oooo I am not happy with the installation... lets have a look further... ooo definately not happy, not happy, not happy!". Customer: But your firm agreed to provide cover after the initial inspection. Del Boy: "I can't speak for someone else. But before we start talking if it is repairable 'economically', we need to make the installation safe. It will cost you £250 to add an inspection hatch and a clamp". Customer: Are you sure you are from 247 Home Rescue? Del Boy: "hummm, aaah, yyyyyyyyyes. But you need a new boiler. Do you want us to provide a quote?" Customer: What quote? My cover says you're covered, is that not the case? Del Boy: "I don't know. My manager will call you". Customer: Can you call your manager now so that I can speak with him? Del Boy: "No, I will call him from the car to brief him. I got other jobs to do. Bye!". Del Boy leaves the property and scene ends! Customer Googles the symptoms and a link on Worcester website suggest that in extreme weather, condensation pipe can get frozen and pouring a bit of warm water can help. Did that and happy to report that boiler is working like a charm now. No manager called so far. [Update] A 'manager' called next day and repeated what the Del boy had said. Told him where to go! I would be taking legal advice as my 85 years mother got suffered. I purchased the cover and paid for the peace of mind but they failed to deliver.

I took out a boiler cover/ repair plan around April 2018 and have been paying around £16.99 a month. In December I encountered a intermittent problem with my boiler and I called 247 to inform them of this and they had arranged an engineer visit. As the problem was an intermittent fault by the time the engineer came the boiler had started to function as normal, a few days later I have encountered the problem again and called the company who said I would have to make a security payment of £35 which would be refunded once a fault has been diagnosed as the engineer could not diagnose anything in the first visit due to the boiler functioning as it should. I made the payment and an engineer visit was booked. When the engineer came out to my property he could see the boiler was not working and was flashing the lights on the sensor, he then turned round and said “ oh its flashing lights what should I do?” this was very strange for an engineer to be asking what he should do , he never once opened the boiler or took its cover off he didn’t even bring any tools inside the property to carry out any checks to see if he could find and fix any fault before giving it a proper diagnosis. When the engineer asked me what to do I said well you should know and why don’t you try ring the manufacturers of the boiler and aske their advice. He then rung the manufacturers on my instructions and told them what colour the lights are flashing asking them what can the fault be? The manufacturers advised him well without having a proper looking at the boiler we can give a definite answer, but usually when the boiler flashes these lights Is can be 1 of 2 parts. He then came off the phone and said they have advised him it can be one of the 2 parts needing to be replaced, but to save time I will put the order or tell the company to order both parts so we don’t waste anymore time as if its not 1 part it may be the other. After the engineer had advised me of this and went off I later had the company 247 calling me stating the boiler is beyond economical repair and the parts are costing more than its worth and using the terms and conditions against me. The company started to lay out extra costs which was shocking and was advising me it all needs replacing! My argument with them was at this point the engineer did not carry out any checks to determine what the fault was not he opened the boiler up or anything and after speaking to the manufacturers going on presumptions and was advising me we will order 2 parts which was not definite. This was shocking and totally incorrect and they would not listen to me and was sticking to what they wanted to say. After speaking to several departments within the organisation I did nit get any further with them and in return received the most atrocious customer service and was so intimidated by them and patronised and had the phone hang up on me which was really rude. They was even not refunding the security payment which should have been released straight away and I had to go through hell to even get this back. I was denied speaking to any manager, was told I will be called back with their set call back times and never they kept up their word. They left me with no hot water and no heating during the cold Christmas period I had no option to cancel my policy with them and arranged a private organisation to have my boiler checked. When the engineer I had to get came out he opened the boiler carried out the necessary checks and found a wire that was loose which was causing this issue. Once he had connected this the problem was solved and the boiler is working fine as it should. Had their engineer done the necessary checked he would sorted this instead of giving a incorrect diagnostic. I logged a compliant with them and they totally ignored all the facts of the complainant and totally disregarded this and even after sending the proof of my engineer who repaired the boiler they still said the part needed to be replaced and said I exhausted the complaints process. This company is just set out to scam people I am very disappointed in my self for going with this company without reading any reviews and after I have read reviews online it confirms what this company is set out to do and that is fool people with false advertisement and just take their money the company ring its customers asking them to rate them on trust pilot as this is what they did with me too. It appears also like they are feeding reviews on the internet from them selves and have staff dedicated to do this. They give set times they will call back and look at things and don’t stick to them and then when things like complaints are chase the complaint handlers don’t even know whet they are talking about and get back in 10 minutes of looking at a lengthy and proof packed complaint which they don’t acknowledge. This company needs to be investigated in how they are just about getting away with the law, they have written their own terms and conditions and are purposely not regulated by anyone else and feel they can treat people in such a poor manner and say what ever they feel like, the staff are not professional at all and have no customer service manner and they all feel like they have the power and the upper hand , I would not be surprised if this is part of their training and the company train staff to treat people in such ways as long as they have their money. My main complain with them is I want total refund of my premium as they have gave a wring diagnostic and I want to be re-imbursed with the extra cost I have incurred for calling out another engineer which all could have been avoided. I have been under so much stress and distress regarding this whole ordeal and this has really effected my sleep and health. Please can you help and assist I am willing to forward my complaint and replies from the organisation as well as the extra cost and the proof of the engineer I had to call to get this repaired. People need to be made aware of this company’s nature please create awareness and please if you have a look at the review forums it seems to be obvious that the company are feeding into the internet their selves about how good the company is , the engineers they call out are not ever their own they are subcontracted from another company .

A standard gas appliance check for a rented property took 6 months for the company to undertake at which point the current gas certificate had expired as 247homerescue cancelled 5 gas engineer appointments. My tenant was very unhappy as she had taken a day of annual leave from work to wait for the engineer each time. Customer service was consistently poor as they failed to respond to my various complaints until I escalated it myself and insisted on speaking to a senior operator. I canceled my year's subscription and received three month's subscription fee back as I repeatedly complained. Extremely poor customer service. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

This company is now under investigation by the gas regulator for compliance issues. I recently referred the company and its engineer Thomas, based in the Northeast, for issuing a CP12 (Landlords gas safety check) when none of the legally required checks were carried out. This company and its engineers are caring out unnecessarily and unsafe work. If you have had any work carried out by this company and are concerned, then you should contact the regulator, who will be able to help. gassaferegister. I have been promised 4 management callbacks and no one has spoken to me to date, they refuse to give their public liability insurance details (if they have any). I have now canceled the policy and used the direct debit clawback scheme to recover all the money taken by this rotten company. The company is also breaking the direct debit rules and taking a random amount of money from their bank account. They are paying people for 5-star reviews. They are not regulated, this is not emergency cover, and it is on a one-month rolling contract. 247HOME RESCUE is a trading style of 247 Home Assist Ltd. The engineers are contractors to another company called 360 home response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Directors: GOHRI, Ranjen and KHONAT, Hassan UPDATE: contacted by a member of the legal/social media team Shane Hester, same again, now no response.
