Horrible experience! I not have a large parcel that has been sent from uk to us and is being held at customs in Miami due to Parcel monkey incorrectly adding extra numbers to the total declared value of the parcel! The value was only 527.00 (as writen on the actual invoice) but Parcel monkey wrote on the waybill (airbill) that the value was 52,711.00!!! Now customs is saying I'll need to pay taxes on that amount!!!!! Are you kidding me?????? At this point I'll probably need to just let them send the parcel back to uk... will then be charged for the return shipping... and then need to pay again to send back to US in hopes that they don't make another error!!!!!

I first placed this review on Trustpilot but ParcelMonkey would apparently not comment without me placing my order details & giving them my identity. As there is no way to contact Trustpilot without filling in such a form, I decided to post here because, as will become apparently, there was absolutely no way I was booking through ParcelMonkey. "Deceptive Dealers: Price doubled at checkout This is the ONLY courier company I've encountered who roughly doubled their cost of delivery at checkout. They had all the correct details: destination, dimensions & weight, yet when it came to paying, the price almost doubled, which is no joke when sending things abroad. Deceptive is the mildest description I can offer. Parcel Hero, on the other hand, although about 10% more expensive than Parcel Monkey's initial quote, provided the required service at the price Parcel Monkey cited initially." Subsequently, Parcel Monkey asked for order details. Obviously, I did not order from them after this fiasco. Inputting order weight, size & destination produced half a dozen prices upto £35. I can still do this now. However, once through to the final page - without re-entering those data - prices were around ~£60.

Really really dreadful service. I sent a parcel weighing 22kg, I know the parcel weighed at least 20kb because it was a set of York dumbells with a defined weight. They sent me an additional invoice for £8.96 becaise they claimed I sent a package weighing 49kg!! They refuse to budge or listen, they just dont care. This operation a total scam. DONT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve had two experiences of the lackadaisical service by this company. They always offload the problem to their chosen courier and accept no responsibility at all. Shocking imo and I’d advise you to look elsewhere

Don’t expect an lost item insurance payout! Sent a posters in a tube (worth $90) to Hungary using this site and it never arrived - after 3 months of constant inquires I was told it “was lost” Oh, and by the way, the insurance included in the price quoted to me (see picture) did not apply, only to “commercial users” AH what? Why not state that in the quote you gave ME? I will NEVER use these useless monkeys again!

Worst service ever. DO NOT USE. They have lost one parcel (containing very important and dear items) despite me having followed all their package instructions. Two months down the line chasing them every day for an answer, they still have not replied with a solution. I seem to be taken from one customer service to another, it is very hard to get in touch with them, they offered me £300 compensation to then re-writing to me saying they need a document first and taking away the offer. I have supplied the document and are now asking for an additional document. I have the feeling this is a real scam designed to waste people's time and force them to ultimately give up. But i will NOT! It is in my full right to receive a reimbursement for the loss of my belonging and I want justice! I am working full time and due to Covid implications I've had to change home address, hence the need for a parcel pick up. It is disgusting how i am having to waste my time everyday chasing for something they owe me! To you consumers: please DO NOT engage with this service, it is very bad and staff is very incompetent. A real waste of money and time and still waiting for an answer. I will contact the police next.

I sent a package via parcel monkey and it got sent back to me because they said there was an issue with the address. I asked several times for more information on this. What was the issue with the address? Which part? They wouldn’t tell me and wouldn’t refund my money. If you’re going to return parcels you need to state a proper reason why.

TL;DR - They charged me for made up weights by themselves, yet my bank thinks they are right, due to the fact that they've created an invoice with the weights they wanted the parcel to be. NEVER USE THEIR SERVICE! Even if it looks cheap, go with DHL/Parcelforce, initially my parcel costed £78 later on became a total of £256 with their scam. I've used their service to transfer 2 parcels, I've measured them out, weighed them and booked them to be carried out by parcel monkey. They've used 2 carriers, 1 for UK, 1 for outside of UK. Initially, they do not measure the parcels, yet they declare measurements that are incorrect at parcelforce, later on the parcel is weighed out by DHL and it turns out the actual weight is the one I declared. Later on, I get an email and a transaction from my card of a total of £178 additional charge for 22 kgs more, which they cannot provide an evidence for about a month, with the excuse that the "carrier" is still sending evidence. Finally, they send me as an evidence a scanned parcel, just the outside of it, no details, no weights, nothing.

A month after receiving my packages I noticed an unauthorized charge on my credit card. I was charged an extra $30.00 and told I had sent packages of a completely different dimension. Then I was told I must send pictures of the boxes with a measuring tape. This is a total scam. This is totally unfair and everyone should be warned that this company is dishonest.

USE OTHER PROVIDERS - Got to be one of the worst customer experiences I have unfortunately been part of. I sent a parcel back in April which was never delivered, I was told by PM that the item has been destroyed by the courier company due to damage to the parcel by the courier company and then this was changed to lost when they realised they would need to pay-out, shambles springs to mind. I will be using Parcel2go going forward, I have never had an issue with them and PM clearly don't care about customer experience, only care about revenue!

I was charged double the initial cost after the courier claimed the package was over sized so the bill went from circa £40 to nearly £130!!!! If I wanted to dispute it I had to provide pictures of an item I’d shipped 3 weeks ago! How I was expected to find pictures and yet they accept no (zero) burden of proof I don’t know. So they still haven’t proved it was too big and I still get to pay. I will not use this service ever again.

They are awful. They will make unauthorised / unagreed withdrawals from your bank account after the shipping and when you try to dispute the charges, tell you that you need to provide images of the package which they have already taken from you! Do not use this company!

Well, My package wasn't even sent. I wrote a wrong address by one number and they told me to cancel it. My package was sent to the wrong address to begin with and I need delivery service to get it for me before the house owner throws my package away. Still, not even a single help reached me when my refund needed some process time. Like a lot of people, I live by the pay after each week and don't get a lot of money to rebook it without a refund. Not even a single help like contacting a UPS store to keep it when the house owner thinks of dropping it off at their store or providing any support for me. Denied every request and doesn't care probably until I rebook the damn thing because I am not a customer after I cancel the booking. Talking to them makes it feel like they just hate losing and pretty lazy about their response. They are just inflexible as much as their incompetence. I always hate the braindead service in the west, keep being passive all the time, and don't care about anything. They even insult me after I am saying that "you probably didn't really care" like it is my own fault for writing the wrong address by one number and got no intention to help rebooking customers because I am not their customer yet. What is the point of being on customer service if you can't even send one email to a company or store in association with your company to ask for help with the customer. They know it full well with all the talk we have that if they do nothing, I will lose my package and they will get nothing out of it because I am just one in a million of customers and they can't make an exception or help me with my package. Not gonna think about going back again. The Review on their own website is probably a scam since They can easily remove negative reviews from it.

Absolute rip off. Do not pay these jokers a penny. They will use Parcel force who are well known for smashing parcels and they will not pay out on a claim, or a loss, even if you pay extra insurance just as i did. They have lied and lied to me and i am out of pocket by well over £250 . They are disgusting little insects.

HI All, Do not use this company the staff are very un-helpfull, arrogant as if to say " You are wrong " would not contact the main courier company for advice . Say's on there website "Do not contact the courier" (DPD) so I did and guess what they agreed with me that there was a problem with system. I claimed back £57 plus the cost for P. Monkey to send my goods back to me another £27. Chargebacked so its costs them more money . Stuffed them HA HA. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Just now Absolutely shocking!!! Absolutely shocking!!! Waited all day 8am-6pm no courier showed up (paid for a 24hr tracked service as had to return furniture). Paid extra too! Customer service was a bunch of robots apparently no way to contact courier service all could do was rebook for another day or refund. If you need to use a reliable service to get something delivered by a specific time and don’t have days you waste staying at home for a collection that doesn’t happen don’t use them!!!!!

My parcel was picked up and arrived in New Zealand without a problem. My issue was after delivery when I was charged an additional amount and now no one will correspond with me! I sent an item that was 1.68kg according to the manufacturer/retailer Add the wrapping and you may get close to what I weighed it at, 3kg, well within the 5kg limit for the rate paid. I have now been charged extra because They say I am 7.2kg. This is impossible! Someone has either made a mistake or is running a scam charging more after offering the best price! Be careful!!!!

I've had a terrible experience with Parcel Monkey UK. My parcel arrived damaged, and 3 pairs of sunglasses were completely bent. Despite my 300 GBP insurance coverage on my pack, the company hasn't paid for my losses. Their excuse was that I didn't hold a receipt for the glasses. The damaged glasses are still available to purchase online, and those websites clearly state the price of the sunglasses. I only advise using Parcel Monkey and its insurance services if you have a RECEIPT FOR ALL THE GOODS in the parcel otherwise having and insurance is pointless as Parcel Monkey UK will be ripping you off.
