“We have just had excellent service from one of your patrolmen. My car didn’t start this morning - a major problem as we are an elderly couple and I am the full carer to a 93 year old, so I need a functioning car. After some difficulties ( why do you not have a straightforward phone number for emergency any more? ) I managed to report this on line. Dean rang us, came promptly, diagnosed the problem, and got the car working again with a new battery. He was pleasant, friendly, and very thorough and efficient. Thank you very much, Dean.”

“Nasty service from start to finish will change made me wait for more than 4hrs everything I rang more lies, was speaking to a operater as we were speaking she passed me though to the automated service to let me know what to do in a dangerous situation rubbish”

“Syed took my phone call and was calming and reassuring. Within a very short time Greg arrived and diagnosed the problem with my crv. Greg organised a tow truck and Simon arrived within an hour and took charge. Thank you rac 😊”

“While taking my nephew and son to play football my car got excessively stuck in the mud, Craig McMillan patrol no. 4672 Could as easily left as I had no towing eye and I was seriously stuck in mud he persisted and managed to get me out a mudslide I’d created. Can’t thank him enough as I felt silly as I’d got in that position and I was starting to panic, top service and professionalism from this patrolman 🙌”

“A very good well mannered gentle man attended my car that had a flat tyre. The wheel nuts were jammed on my car wheel with puncture. Took engineer over 2 hours to unlock wheel nuts. Polite and very effecient engineer.”

“I broke down at a busy junction and called the rac. The mechanic, called Daniel, came within half an hour, told me what was wrong with my vehicle then towed me to a garage. He was polite, told me everything I needed to know and explained what would happen as I was being towed. If I didn’t like being towed just to beep my horn. Thank you for a great service. Highly recommended.”

“My campervan had a flat battery because it hasn’t been off the drive for so long. The RAC came within the specified time (up to 90 minutes) and phoned to say where they were when on their way. Did lots of diagnostics, tried to jump start the battery, but it was shot. Fitted another one. No fuss. Very satisfied with this side if the business, but less so with the customer service team afterwards (see separate review).”

“My daughter had a blown out tyre on the M40, the RAC where excellent, they told her she was a priority and were there within 45 minutes, he then organised an out of hours tyre replacement firm to come to the car, which was also done within 40 minutes. she was back on the road thanks to both these 2 great gentlemen, who were polite, kind and very professional. Have been a member for 10 plus yrs and wont be changing anytime soon.... Thank you”

“Turned up within time promised. Called to keep me updated on arrival and was pleasant the entire Time. Reiss 4273 really loves what he does and got the problem sorted due to patience and knowledge. Happy with service.”

“Had to leave a review for the rac service and especially the garage that fixed the problem. The patrolman was professional and knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue quite quickly. As it was early, 6: 30 , and no garages were open he stayed until he could get in contact with one. The garage in question was James Price in Walsall. I couldn't have gone to a better garage. Even though they were busy, they managed to get the faulty parts replaced and get me on my way in the same day. 5 star service all the way. Recommended 100% James Price.”
