“We had broken down in devon this weekend thankfully they turned really bad news into good news thought car had had it they got us back on the road home to Suffolk we could not thank them enough if it was not for them we would have benn left stranded not able to return home well done to rac”

“Very very happy with the excellent service given to us last week to mend our vehicle. Aaron 8809 and James 2154 were absolutely brilliant, Aaron especially kept in touch and updated us with progress and the car was ready by Friday as promised, they are true gentlemen, thank you so much”

“I broke down on Sunday the 4th on the M4 near Royal Wooten Basset . I called the breakdown number & the service I got was impeccable they kept ringing me they informed the Highway patrol which could see me on CCTV & sent out someone to check on us . We only waited just over an hour and Justin the RAC recovery driver was brilliant . Thankyou you so much”

“Husband & I broke down on a tricky hill between Bath & Bradford on Avon yesterday. First RAC van came to move us in 15 mins, second van that brought us home only another 15 mins later. Excellent service - thank you!”

“Rac shocking. Thank God for your subcontractor e and s. Really poor service no care. Children with us (daughter is autistic). Left us and said around 10pm for collection. If it wasn't for the guy from e and s using his initiative we wouldn't be heading home. Rac take note of some of these reviews please. Will be escalating.”

“Exceptional Service from Steve Butcher I am happy to share my experience with Steve Butcher, who went above and beyond yesterday to support us and get us back on the road. “I called AA this early evening as was on really busy dual carriage way n no safe place at all and had the most amazing staff from the caller who took my call helping try to pinpoint where I was as could not get location to work in my phone and no point of interest either . Only waited for 20 mins for Connor to rescue me and get my car working again . Fantastic service and a follow up call to check I was safely home . Worth every single penny for this service.”

“My car overheated and was steaming through the bonnet. I called at 9 am and he turned up at 10.15. Sealed the crack in the hose joint and stayed with me for 45 minutes to check all was well. Judging by other reviews it sounds like I was very lucky. I pay £35 a month and I was told it was going up to £45 a month even though I’ve only ever used them they’ve in 5 years. Nearly as much as my insurance! However, I fo get free puncture cover and also free battery cover included for that.”

“Had to get the RAC out today . The patrol who came out has gone beyond what he should have . Followed us home to make sure we got back ok . Would recommend this breakdown firm to anyone . Very friendly Guy. Worth your weight in gold.”

“Call out today at my local supermarket so only 5 minutes from home ! Van just lost power, Kev from RAC arrived in three quarters of an hour ! He carried out all the checks , no problem showing, tried the ignition again & of course van started ! Kev followed me home, explained everything to my husband . Van going to garage to see if any fault can be found ! One of life’s mysteries”

“Absolutely unbelievable. I've recently joined after 40 years with the AA. I had a recurring problem and the AA kept telling me different things all of wich were wrong. The guy came last night diagnosed the problem exsplaning exactly what it was and actually fixed it. Gave me good advice . This guy was 100% top marks to you sir and thankyou 40 years wasted with the AA.”

“I was reading through the horrible reviews with trepidation as i had bought breakdown cover with my new car insurance in December and RAC was the breakdown they used. Firstly RAC updated me every step of the way. Stephen who then rang to say he'd be there in 40 mins, and told me to wait at home until he arrived at my car (5 mins away). He was apologetic that I'd had to wait at all. He was so helpful and kind, and towed my car to the garage and then rang me to say it was all booked in and they had my car key. The garage then rang to tell me the same information. Really pleased and grateful at how efficient it all was and and Steve was so knowledgeable and courteous.”
