“Ref driver Mechanic Jim 2726 gloucestershire. Hi there. I have just had a fantastic experience with an RAC driver / mechanic. I was broken down on my Honda Blackbird due to the battery not charging and dying on me. He kindly stopped just because I was in a dangerous position on a 3 lane junction. He went around the roundabout again and pulled up behind and protected me with his large van. He then assessed the situation and briefly charged my battery for 10 mins which was enough to get me home.he then kindly followed my route to Newent in Gloucestershire to make sure I got home safe. About 8 miles. The good deed he did gave me belief in the RAC but also belief in the fact there is some very good people out there that care about us motorist and potentially saved me from a bad accident. Thank you Jim. I hope the RAC appreciate you as much as I do. Thank you RAC”

“My car is insured with Hastings Direct linked with RAC. I couldn’t start my Mini Cooper Countryman in a Aldershot service station. The RAC was with me within minutes and helped me above and beyond. I was more than grateful for such service. Elizabeth Clements, Aldershot.”

“My car broke down and had to be towed 16 miles to a garage, from when he arrived the driver who was named Eric was extremely helpful. I need two new knees and have arthritis and I had difficulty climbing into the van, Eric helped me in made sure I was comfortable, turned the heating up and even asked what music station I would like. The time I spent in his company was spent chatting and he gave some good advice about my car,by the time we parted I felt like his Grandad. A great addition to your staff and a very calming presence to have in a stressful situation. I very easily give him 10/10 in every aspect of his work. Thanks again Eric. Ken Fisher”

“My mobility car had a puncture today and I called the RAC. Within 10 mins they were with me. The driver (Michael) I think was fantastic. Very polite and helpful. Had to put a universal tyre on my car and escorted me to Kwik Fit. Well done for the service and politeness of the driver.”

“Seriously these guys are amazing. My experience was at night and the rain was awful (Typical). I called the RAC as i was insured under my car insurance policy. I had to wait a couple of hours as it was really busy but i was near home so i waited at home. The communication was good and when they arrived (two of them as the other ones call was close and he offered to help, he even used his lunch time). Well the car was not able to be fixed roadside and had to be towed to a Garage the following day. Hand on heart these Guys are super hero's, utmost respect to them your amazing. Thank You so much and I am sorry I didn't get your names.”

“Yesterday (15th April 2024) I spoke with Sally Morgan in Manchester, regarding my breakdown policy cancellation due to Barclays withdrawal from the RAC cover package with them. Sally was willing to listen to my concern and understood my reason for requesting a cancellation. She was polite and courteous in her demeanour throughout our conversation and she has cancelled my policy. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone in need of her help.”

“Thanks to the excellent Matthew who went beyond in Sandy on Friday 16th around 15.00. Was extremely quick arriving and sorting the new tyre. Was friendly, efficient and went above and beyond. Ensured tyres were right and did a battery check. Many thanks to him, hope RAC recognise his efforts.”

“While on my way to work in Halifax on Saturday my van broke down and a RAC guy called Kyle atended , He's a good guy, professional and safety conscious. Today i had a blow out on the m62 nr J 24 and Kyle was the Rac guy who turned up again, Professional, polite and friendly and did everything he could to repair while advising my safty and his own , A true professional and a big thank you again. Ten out of ten. Best wishes paul.”

“I had a car breakdown yesterday and called RAC rescue and they responded with friendly and helpful manner with an excellent turnaround time providing all support. Their mechanic Pradeep got my car up and running with his skills and expertise ! I am impressed by both RAC and all their mechanics, specifically Pradeep in attending car breakdown ! I am impressed by their service ! A big thank you to RAC rescue for excellent customer service and to all their mechanics, specially Pradeep !!!”

“The patrolman Marc called us Almost Immediately and checked our location and advised of arrival time. Came was friendly and professional and found the problem straight away. Managed to call supplier obtain part and fix at roadside. Thank you for perfect service”

“Rang the RAC to report breakdown @ 11.11 am Had a new alternator replaced and back on the road by 14.20pm . Quoted £375 for part but was actually only £261 .very happy with the service I received, the guy was very friendly, it was blowing a gale and pouring with rain and he remained happy. We bought him 2 coffees to keep him warm ☺️☺️”
