“Early evening, today, my car broke down in the middle of a very busy main road. I had my 8 year old daughter in the car and it was a frightening experience. Once I’d managed to reporr it online., an RAC mechanic got in touch with me within 5 minutes. His name is Damien and he calmed me and my daughter down very quickly an towed us to the nearest RAC approved garage. He was brilliant. Nothing was a problem. And when I phoned the ongoing Hire line, Julie from Oldham, was lovely and understanding and again, efficiently reassured me. I just want to thank these 2 people for their generosity of spirit and professionalism.”

“Great service from the RAC. Phil from Halesowen came to me in Redditch this morning. Despite him being poorly he drove to Bromsgrove to get the part for my car and fixed it. Above and beyond what he should have done. A credit to the RAC. Fantastic service.”

“My car wouldn’t start , I was in a Morrisons car park. I’d been there for a couple of hours I’d rang the RAC and was told there was a high volume of calls due to the weather. An RAC van had just pulled in at the other side of the car park , I went over and the driver said, I wasn’t his call but he’d come over anyway. 20 or so minutes later he got my car going. He was very professional and explained what the problem had been. Couldn’t thank him or the RAC enough . So glad I have membership. Thanks James. I’m so glad you were there. Margo”

“I had a fault in my car whilst driving to work on Friday night. I called the RAC ,about an hour later, l had David Cosby turned up. He went above and beyond to resolve my issue and he did. Thought l was going to need a brand new car as l could not afford that at the moment. Thank you so much David Cosby. You worked so hard in that cold to get my car fixed for me. Appreciate you greatly.”

“Fantastic got to our car after shopping gave them a call they were with us in 10 mins The bloke was fantastic He told us exactly what was wrong without car fixed it and we were on our way within half an hour amazing service”

“LEE AND CHRISTIAN ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS GOT ME GOING WHEN MY KEY FOB WAS DEAD. ON MY OWN ELDERLY AND COULD NOT EVEN GET TO A GARAGE THEY KEPT ON TILL THAT ENGINE STARTED. THANK YOU!”

“We had a tyre problem on the A629 between Keighley and Skipton on Friday 30th September. Ali from the RAC came to our rescue and found a large piece of metal embedded in our run flat tyre. The weather was awful, windy and lashing down with rain. Ali did a temporary repair and sourced a second hand tyre for us, led us to the tyre fitters and they changed our tyre. Please thank ALI again for a fantastic job.”

“We were on holiday in swansea visiting family when our car broke down on Friday 😟 luckily we had rac, we contacted them and they were very busy but took approx 4 hours to get to us, we wasn't stuck on a roadside we were in a family members home as car broke down outside there luckily so can only say what we experienced. So Jordan arrived, lovely guy he had just moved back to swansea from Tenby really tried to get the car going was extremely friendly and went out of his way to get it working sadly to no avail, had to go to garage as starter motor had gone. All in all our first encounter using rac was a good one, they kept you informed at all times how long they were going to be and they try there best to get you going. I would recommend them .”

“We unfortunately broke down on Sunday 14th August, we managed to pull over in a service station on the A40 northbound. After a five hour wait (apparently the rac man went to the wrong service station) another RAC driver Gary 3177 who had just completed another job came over to see if we ok. He called our insurers again and within 1 hour an engineer was on site, Gary remained with us and then took us on part 1 of our pick up journey as far as he could take us within his boundaries, he gave us a list of garages local to our holiday destination and set up the next pick up truck to take us to our destination. Gary 3177 certainly went above and beyond in his customer service. A huge thank you and well done goes out to him.”
